Forever and always?

They had a long meal together, exchanging loving looks, words of passion.

Legolas had problems remembering what his life looked like before he met Haldir, how he lived without him for all those years.

Haldir knew Legolas wished to go back to Mirkwood, but he knew as well that Legolas did not quite remember what his father made him do, it had all left him since the first time Haldir took him.

Legolas cleaned off the table when both had finished their meal.

Haldir stood up and gave Legolas a passionate kiss.

Legolas was so startled that he dropped the glasses he had in his hands.

Haldir was startled as well and said, “Are you alright my love?”

Legolas nodded and said, “I’m sorry Haldir, so sorry”

Haldir wrapped his arms around him and gently rocked him, comfortingly and whispered soothing words into his ear.

Legolas calmed down again.

Haldir lifted him up in his arms, neither worn boots or anything, but he’d rather have himself hurt than Legolas so he carried Legolas across the glass and put him down when he was sure there lay no glass there.

Legolas watched him as he walked back and started to clean up the pieces, he cut himself in his finger and cursed softly under his breath.

Legolas wanted to walk to him to help but apparently Haldir had foreseen that and said, “No Legolas, stay there, there are still splinters”

He sighed; he made this mess, he should clean it up, not Haldir.

Haldir was done finally, also taking the splinters away and then sat down on a chair, there were pieces of glass in his feet and his finger was still bleeding.

Legolas didn’t wait a second and went to him he took some bandage and cleaned the wound on Haldir’s finger and bandaged it. Next he moved to Haldir’s feet, gently getting the pieces out without causing him pain.

Haldir smiled when Legolas was finished and pulled him on his lap and said, “I love you”

Legolas smiled; he always loved to hear those words coming from Haldir, the words held all his emotions, which were always positive and said, “I love you too Haldir”

Haldir smiled, Legolas could tell it was an honest one, it was one of the things of Haldir, he couldn’t lie, with nothing, if he did you’d be very able to tell cause then he doesn’t look the person he’s talking to in the eye and he got this strange loo his his face.

Haldir kissed Legolas passionately and after he broke the kiss, said, “Did I mention you are very beautiful?”

Legolas smiled and gave him a kiss and said, “I think so, ten times already if I’m not mistaking, not that I mind of course, I like to hear it, you always make me feel very special, nobody has ever made me feel like this, like you have done, I’m not sorry I married you, not a bit.”

Now, for the first time, it was Haldir’s turn to colour a deep red, from top to bottom.

Legolas grinned at this unusual sight, smiling he said, “Hmm, the blushing looks good on you too, as you always say”

Haldir looked at him and lay him down on a rug that lay on the ground and gave him a most serious look before bursting out laughing and tickling the youngster.

Legolas shrieked and laughed, tears emerged from his eyes as he pleaded Haldir to stop this amusing torture, “Have mercy”

Haldir laughed and leaned down and pressed a kiss on his lips.

Legolas took his chance and started to tickle Haldir, who as well was ticklish and started laughing and twisting right away.

Now it was Haldir’s time to plead.

So they went on for hours straight, just teasing and tickling each other.
