Chapter 7: T.A. 2700

Erestor was relieved when his small escort came across the Dunedain, especially when he saw Elladan at the head. It had been some time since the twins were in Imladris. When they were gone, the whole vale worried for their safe return. The advisor would now be able to give his Lord a report on the well being of his ions. The group of elves received a warm welcome, an invitation stay with the Rangers and, in a day or two, travel with the band as they were traveling the same path of a while, anyway. Under the protection of the Dunedain, Erestor and his companions could enjoy a warm fire, a chance to clean up and best of all, a hot meal and solid nights rest! Seeing that his escort was taken care of, Erestor slipped away for a bath in a near by lake. Elladan watched his father’s most trusted advisor leave the encampment. He had wanted to insist that Erestor take a guard, yet he understood the dark elf’s need for some solitude. The elder twin decided to let him go alone, but he would check on the older elf shortly.

Elladan stopped cold at the tree line. The sight before him took his breath away. Erestor stood waist deep in the black water, ebony hair clinging to the lean back. Muscles flexed as the counselor reached up to comb his long fingers through his wet tresses. Elladan watched, rooted to the spot. He had never seen Erestor unclothed, at least not once he reached adulthood. The young half-elf admired the beautiful physic. Just then, Erestor dropped below the surface. He emerged now facing the shore, looking to Elladan like one of the Valar. The older elf’s face held a serene smile; wide, dark eyes opened rimmed by long lashes. His long hair clung to his form, riddled with gleaming water drops. It looked to Elladan as if the night sky, glittering with stars wrapped itself around the perfect body. Elladan felt a wave of desire fill him. He yearned to shed his clothing, join the beauty in the cold water and show Erestor how the Imladrian heir really felt. At that moment, his grey-blue eyes met questioning dark ones. Damn elven eyesight! Stepping out of the shadow, Elladan fought to regain his calm demeanor.

“I came to tell you supper is ready.” He said matter-of-factly. The younger elf hoped his voice did not betray the trembling of his body.

Erestor gracefully moved toward the shore, more and more of him revealed to Elladan’s awe. Feeling the embarrassing strain in his leggings, the half elf turned back towards camp. Erestor watched the elder twin leave, he thought he had seen something in those expressive eyes, something Erestor always dreamed of seeing…desire, but it was wishful thinking. With a disappointed sigh, the Chief Advisor of Imladris dressed.
