Author’s notes: Yeah, yeah. Bad author! *Smacks hand* Write the story damnit!! But I’d rather read this story!! You can’t read this story if you don’t write it! Life is so unfair… Mostly because there’s reviewer Jayn who attacks lazy near-nonexistent writer Jayn for not writing updates. Hey, I know! Anyone want to write a similar story for me? *Puppy dog eyes*

Disclaimer: I do not own Lord of the Rings or its characters. But I do take credit for this storyline and my characters. I am not making a profit off of this story, it’s just for fun.

The Twins lead Logan back to the room with ease. The tense silence was broken by Logan.

“So… Uh… Thanks, I guess. This place is so huge, I don’t know how I’ll ever get the hang of this place,” he said while opening the door. They entered the room and Logan hesitantly set on the bed.

“You were once quite acquainted with these halls. We do not know how you have lost you memory, but we do what we can to remind you of you past,” Elladan replied, his grey eyes carefully watching Logan for any of the weakness that almost caused him to faint.

Logan averted his eyes. He was having difficulty dealing with the revelation that he is engaged to these two. The only experience he has had with romantic relationships was what he learned in the past few years. It did not seem wrong to him for others to have same sex relationships as long as they loved each other, but many do have a problem with it. Now he is in a place where the few things he thought he understood have changed again. The whole situation made him feel awkward.

The bed dipped next to him and a hand gently rested on his shoulder, causing him to meet the eyes of Elrohir. “Do not worry. We will not force you into anything you are not ready for. You have lost so many memories, but we have time to help you remember your life.”

“I want to remember my life. Still, everything seems so new even though it feels as if I’ve been here before. Regardless, I’ll have changed from my experiences. This place is so different from the place I have come from. I may have only spent eight years there but it’s all I remember.” Elrohir shifted his position to wrap an arm around the distraught prince; however, his reply was interrupted by a soft knock.

Elladan greeted the elf on the other side. Logan did not hear the name, but supposed that he probably knew him at one time. It appeared that there are a lot of names, faces and places that he will have to relearn. Elladan took the offered tray, thanked the elf and closed the door. He brought the tray to a previously unnoticed table with three convenient chairs off to the side of his bed. Elrohir stood then offered his hand to Logan. Logan, while trying not to feel awkward or blush, grasped his hand and followed him. The twin directed him to the center seat and they sat. The food was delicious. There were fruits, cheese, bread and a few lunch meats served with a sort of flavored water. At least, Logan thought it was flavored water. He knew what different types of alcohol tasted like from the club, but this did not taste the same. Perhaps he was hungrier then he first realized.

Elladan began the conversation. It needed to be said. “When we realized that you were gone, we searched endlessly for you. We knew you were not dead, but we could not find you. It is strange to think that you are now safe here with us. It is almost as if those eight years have never happened.”

He held his emotions closer to himself then his twin, but he could not keep them locked up when he has finally found his betrothed again. Logan met his eyes, remembering their weary, anguished faces when he came into the courtyard. Carefully, his meal forgotten, he lifted his hand and cupped his face. Logan wanted to wipe away the fears and grief. “While I do not remember any events or memories, it’s as if my heart and body remembers you both.” Then, hesitantly, he leaned forward and kissed Elladan’s lips softly before retreating with a blush. The smile on his face was almost instantaneous as he lifted his hand to keep Logan’s on his cheek. Logan had the feeling that the twin has not smiled in some time. How could he not smile in return?

“Will I not receive a kiss also?” Elrohir asked. Logan blushed harder before turning towards the other twin. Elladan let his hand drop from his cheek but did not let go.

“How could I play favorites when I feel the same way for you both?” Logan, again in a hesitant manner, tentatively leaned forward until another sweet chaste kiss was bestowed upon the twin.

Elrohir glowed. “We did not expect that you would be willing to attempt our relationship until you remembered this more clearly.”

“Well, from my greeting yesterday and the information I received from Erestor, you are my betrothed. Even though I can’t remember our relationship, I will trust my instincts. Besides, I don’t know how I am supposed to adjust to this place again if I don’t have anyone helping me. You feel right to me and I am going to trust that,” Logan explained. It was difficult to deal with these emotions because they had no memory to them, but he didn’t want to be alone in this. He did not know how but he knew that the Twins would not fail him.
