Dom tries to find his lover again, entering a mysterious adventure… This chapter: Dom is being captured and Billy finally has some success with the codes.

Author's Notes: We’re getting nearer to the answers to all your questions! You have to know, at first I had different plans with Dom and Billy, but now it developed in another direction! Enjoy!

Darkness passed slowly away as Dom carefully opened his eyes. His head was aching and every muscle in his body was revolting. What the hell had that been? And where was he after all? Feeling the urge to scratch his neck he tried to move his hand; impossible. He recognized that he was tied to the lattice of a bed, on which he was lying, by handcuffs. The bed was rusty, old and very uncomfortable. But that seemed like his smallest problem right now. Dom tried the best he could to sit up and since the bed was placed in the corner of the room he could with some effort lean against a wooden wall. Now he was able to overview his, yeah, what was it actually? His new apartment? Didn’t look like it!

It looked rather like a hut somewhere in the mountains. But that was more or less impossible. England had no mountains. Or snowy regions. There wasn’t much furniture in here, only a small couch, a coffee table in front of it, a chair nearby. A TV set stood at the wall opposite him, there were two windows, one on the right and the other on the left wall. He could make out a doorway that led into another room and right next to his bed was a door. The exit? Where was he? But the most important question was: Was he alone?

“Ah, you’ve woken up!” That sentence just gave him an answer. The stranger that Dom had met earlier appeared in the doorway. “Sorry about the rough treatment. It had to be fast.”

“Anesthesia bullets…”, Dom presumed and received a nod.

“Yep, so maybe you will get a little bruise from the hit on your chest somewhere but nothing life changing.” He laughed.

“Will I ever get to know who the bloody hell you are?” Dom would keep this rude tone, he told himself.

“I’m Eddie. And that’s me ignoring your mean behavior by the way”, he added after a short pause. “You will stay here with me for a while, is all. Nothing big. As long as Billy sticks to the rules, nothing will happen to you.”

Eddie was very calm and relaxed, as if this was a normal thing to do, kidnapping and threatening, shooting other people and God knows what else. He had that weird kind of gleam in his eyes, that nasty smile, which Dom didn’t like, it told him to be careful and distrustful.

“I…erm…I’ve looked through your stuff. I don’t know where you got these documents from but they are no longer yours-”

“I’ve already read them.”, Dom interrupted him. “So, what are you gonna do now? You will have to kill me after all otherwise I will tell the police all about you.”

“The police?” Eddie smiled, walked over to a bag that stood beside the coffee table and put out a police badge. “Officer Norton at your service!”

“Why? What did Billy and I ever do to you? Why can’t you just leave us alone?”, Dom was shouting angrily.

“Because we need him to get inside the bank. And he won’t cooperate as long as he knows that you are safe. Well, now you’re not, of course. Heard Billy starts helping and hacking some codes. Good for him. And for you.”

Dom shot him a disgusted glance. He wanted to rip himself from that bed and punch Eddie right in his false friendly face.

“We’ve got some time left till they need me again.” He approached Dom with a glass of whiskey in his hand. “Want somethin’?”, he offered and hold out his hand. Dom turned away his head. “Guess that’s a no.”

He sat down next to him and laid one hand on Dom’s thigh. “I like your face. You’re a very handsome young man. And it sometimes gets a bit lonely around here.”

Dom’s heart immediately began beating faster. Eddie was too near, his face, lips close to Dom’s, no chance for him to escape, Eddie could easily rape him and no one would hear him, no one would help him. Eddie’s hand went up to Dom’s crotch and grabbed him there tightly.

“You wanna cheer me up?”, Eddie whispered and tightened his grip which made Dom whimper silently. “Yeah, you like that, do you? Like it the hard way, fag, huh?”

The pain was getting more and more unbearable and then – it was gone. Eddie had stood up.

“Don’t worry. I’m not a horny fag like you, ass fucker.” He sipped the rest of the whiskey and slapped Dom once in the face. “Next time you better answer me when I ask you.”

Then he left his captive alone. Dom sighed deeply, fear vibrating in his breath.

Billy sighed deeply, relief vibrating in his breath. He finally had managed to get through all the codes, it hadn’t been even necessary, he had found another way to get pass those numbers and letters, skip some of those passwords. It had taken him not more than 5 hours and 36 minutes. Ben had placed a timer on his desk and now it showed the remaining 18 hours 24 minutes.

Ben would check on him in about twenty minutes. Every hour one visit. Billy stood up from his chair but that was all he was able to do. Moving around the cell had been made impossible by Ben and his fellas. He stretched his arms and legs a bit and sat down again.

He wondered where Dom was right now. He hoped, he begged and prayed that they hadn’t caught him. He had to be kept out of this; it was Billy’s problem and not Dom’s. And what about that the boy? Well, sure he was no boy anymore. But Billy still called him that. He didn’t know his name, nor where he came from. He perhaps wouldn’t even recognize him today. But he was aware of the fact that they got him. And they could kill him at anytime. But now that he had done his job, hacked inside the bank, made the cameras follow his control only they had to release the boy. They just had to. But with Eddie also playing a part in the game… Damn it, it was more difficult than he had thought. What if they killed him in the end, no matter what would happen? But there was no more time to think about that. The minutes had not even passed and yet Ben entered the room.

“I came to see how you’re doing… and obviously you’re finished! Either that or you are a very crazy man, sitting that relaxed in your cozy little chair, not working.”

“No, Ah made it. As ye ordered. Now, will ye let him go? Will ye let meh go?”

“Yes. But not until our coup is done. You’re still a part of the gang and I tell you when to leave. By the way, Tom wants to see you. He has to show you something.”

Ben’s men freed Billy from his chair and they all together left the chamber. Ben led the little group through tunnels and halls and what seemed like millions of staircases until they finally reached Tom’s office.

“He only wants to see you, Bills.”, Ben said and stepped aside to make way for Billy.

Billy knocked once and after a “Come in!” he entered the door to his past.

Dom had been trying to sleep, but it hadn’t been easy. Lying in such a position on a bed hadn’t helped him to fall asleep. But somehow he managed it, and felt a bit better after the little nap. His head had stopped aching, which was a small miracle to Dom, and he felt the energy returning to his body, his brain started thinking again.

He had to do something. He had to get away from here, he had to save Billy. The documents, he needed them back, they contained important and useful information. Now that he knew that there also was a report on the gang maybe he could find some information about their hiding place if there was something like that at all.

Dom listened up suddenly. Noises, they were coming from the other room. Eddie talking to someone, obviously on the phone. He crouched as far as the handcuffs would allow him to the edge of the bed, so he was able to hear better.

“…that’s good for him. – So, you wanna do it now? – All right, I will prepare everything. – Tom wants what?? – You sure?” He laughed. “Oh man. That will be a nice surprise!”

Eddie entered so unexpectedly the room that Dom had barely to no time to lean back.

“You were eavesdropping, weren’t you?” Eddie shook his head. “Shouldn’t have done that.”

He put out a syringe and injected the content in Dom’s neck, so fast that Dom wasn’t able to react. He felt the dizziness overwhelming him and didn’t even recognize that he slowly passed out.

“Tom, Ah had a deal with Ben. He said that ye would let him free if Ah-“

“A deal? Who the hell said that? Did you ever hear Ben say somethin’ like ‘Of course we let him free’ or ‘No, you can live happily ever after’?”

Billy was shocked. How could he have trusted them?

“You see, Billy, he knows our faces and he knows every detail of the plan.”, Tom answered still sitting behind his desk.

“So, ye’re gonna kill him…”

Billy could not believe what he just heard. Tom didn’t reply but that was enough. He meant it.

“But Billy, we are doing you a favor! He will never ever have to torture himself for not being fast enough to push him aside, he will stop suffer.”

“But Ah did anything ye wanted from meh! What else is there to do? Let meh go, please, Ah…Ah want to return to Dominic.” Billy’s anger was replaced by desperation.

“Oh, is that the name of your new lover?” Tom really enjoyed this. “But I’m sorry to disappoint you. Or not. Whatever. In fact, we have him here.”

Billy looked up, terrified. “Ye what?”

Tom pointed to a little monitor on his desk and turned it around so that Billy could see. And what he spotted made the blood in his veins freeze. There was a man bound to a chair, a hood over his head, so his face could not be seen, another man was standing next to him, smirking into the camera.

“Now, Eddie.”, Tom ordered through a cell phone and Eddie pulled the hood away. Dom’s tired face came into view. He looked scared and confused. Billy’s chest began to hurt.

“What did ye do to him?” Billy whispered, then shouted: “What the hell did ye do to him?!”

“Nothing. Yet. Cooperate, Billy. Then I might change my mind about killing him. There is lots of stuff to do, to prepare the robbery and we really could need your help.”

Billy stood motionless in front of the monitor, staring at it disbelievingly.

“Ah’ll do it.”

“Good! And, oh, what I forgot to tell you: Dom is the boy.”

When the hood was taken away from his head and allowed Dom to breathe again, he looked confused into the camera, not knowing who was staring back at him. But he guessed that it only could be Tom, their leader, and maybe Billy as well. And then he was bale to hear every word through the speaker of Eddie’s phone: Tom threatening Billy, Billy finally agreeing, and the last sentence of Tom’s fell.

“And, oh, what I forgot to tell you: Dom is the boy.”

I am the boy, Dom just thought. Robbery. Explosion. Ryan. His eyes started burning again, bloody tears cleared their way through his head into his eyes.

“You were there…”, Dom said silently. “Billy…”

He closed his eyes and prepared himself to kick open the next door to his past.
