You Gotta Fast Car, Is It Fast Enough So We Can Fly Away?
Andrea woke up groggily to find white. 'What the hell?' She thought, trying to sit up.
"Oh thank god!" A male voice next to the bed brought her head around to face his.
"Elijah! What are-where am I?" Looking down, she noticed an IV sticking out of her arm and suddenly everything was flooding back to her.
"You're in the hospital." Elijah was sitting next her, holding her small hand tightly in his own. His eyes were bloodshot and his hair was a mess, making it obvious that he'd been lacking sleep for a little while. "You fell... I mean, that's what Orlando told the doctors..." His voice cracked slightly. "Nothing's broken though, thank god. You had a concussion, a few bruises, but nothing's broken. They thought you might go in a coma, it was a miracle you pulled through, hard head, huh?" He cracked a small smile, but she panicked, ripping the IV from her arm and trying to get out of the bed.
"He pushed me!" She burst into tears and immediatly his arms encircled her body, holding her down, forcing her back into the bed as she continued to cry. "I didn't fall, that bastard pushed me!"
"Shh, shh, baby, it's okay. I know, I know what he did." He rocked her back and forth a few times, before pulling away and looking her over critcally. "Listen, I'm going to get you some coffee, I'll be right back." She nodded, still crying a little, and he was gone.

Rian sat on the bed, boredly flipping through channels. Elijah had gone home a couple of hours ago, but he was coming back again that night. She hated being alone in this hospital, it was lonely, it was depressing. Patients groaned and screamed and there were always lights flashing outside her window, making it nearly impossible to sleep.
Their was a knock on the door and it opened, surprising Rian into a sitting position.
"Elijah? I thought you weren't coming back un-" She stopped, her jaw dropped, the smile immediatly dropping from her face.
It was Orlando.
His eyes were rimmed red and he had pulled a beanie over his head to hide his unkempt hair, though it stuck out obviously. Crossing to her immediatly, he wrapped his arms around her small body, unaware that she had gone ridged in his grasp.
"Rian! Oh god, Ri, I don't- I don't know..." He was babbling incoherently, not making much sense, though Rian got the basic gist. "I'm sorry! I never meant to do this! You have to believe me, I didn't!" She didn't answer and he pulled away, kneeling next to her on the bed. She could feel her defenses crumbling again, like they always did when he pulled this act on her.
"Rian, please, I love you so much... I'd never hurt you on purpose... Please, please forgive me?" He took her hands in his staring into her light green eyes pleadingly.
"I'm cold." She whispered, as he knelt down by the side of her bed, drawing her into his arms.
"I love you, Rian," He buried his head in her neck, sobbing.
"I love you too," she answered quietly, knowing that he was slipping by her again, but not knowing how to get her heart to believe her mind.
"Really?" He pulled away, placing his hands on her face gently. "Things are going to be different love," he swore. "I promise, I love you." He reached into his back pocket. "Marry me, Rian Analise Bellamont?"
