To Tie The Knot
Chapter Seven:
CHAPTER SEVEN:
She was having the most wonderful dream...
Her and Haldir had spent a whole day and night making love. On the divans, as they licked drops of miruvor from each other's skin. On the table, as they decided to snack on something other than fruits and cheese. Then back onto the bed, where..
No, wait... It had been no dream. It had really happened.
{ Mmmm... }
Annaien's lips curved into a happy smile, her half-human eyes still closed, as she went to stretch langurously in welcome of a new day.
Only to find that she could not.
She came fully awake then, her body tensing with alarm at finding herself tied, spread-eagled, to the four swan-shaped posters of the bed. She pulled against her bindings, in an attempt to break them. But it was to no avail. The elven ropes had been tied with expert efficiency.
" Lesson Three:"
Annaien turned suddently furious eyes at the figure seated calmly on one of the chairs. Haldir returned her stare serenely as he crossed his very impressive arms over his even more impressive chest, before continuing in his best intructor tone of voice.
" Never relax your guard when out in the field."
She gave him a look that could have felled the Dark Lord himself.
" You are the most despicable, underhanded, traitorous, unforgiving..." She sputtered.
" And arrogant." Haldir cocked a mocking eyebrow. " You forgot to mention..Arrogant."
He rose from the chair and began heading towards the door. Annaien looked at him with in disbelief.
" Haldir! You miserable spawn of a mangy, tick-ridden warg!. Get back here and untie me, THIS INSTANT, or I'll..."
" Tsk, tsk. Such temper. Most unbecoming for the newest member of the Galadrim Guard."
He gave her a wicked grin.
" Do not fret so, meleth nin. I will come back to free you... Eventually."
And with that he was gone, shutting the door quietly behind him.
{ Newest guard?... Meleth nin? }
Annaien settled back into her pillow, her face becoming the very picture of thoroughly-satisfied contentment as she heard her beloved Marchwarden's voice drifting down the path, whistling a merry little tune.
Aye, he would be back. And then...
