"Chapter 7"
***********

Orlando had managed, or rather, demanded the time off. He needed a break, he had argued. Now he was sitting in here in Robin's office, listening to the "conditions" of his break.

"I can't believe I'm going along with this." she said.

"It's not up for discussion." Orli replied. "I need this time off."

"Poor, horny, baby. Now listen carefully," She was not happy about this. "Don't. Leave. The. House. Do you understand?"

Orlando couldn't help but smile, leaving the house was the farthest thing from his mind. Hell, he was hoping he wouldn't have to leave the bedroom.

"Wipe that goofy grin off your face, I'm serious! You have to be careful. Have you even looked yourself up on the internet?"

"Not really," He was trying to look as innocent as possible, but he felt the warmth creeping up his neck.

"Well, that three shades of red on your face says otherwise. There are an unbelievable number of web sites set up, devoted to you and Viggo screwing each other! Anytime the two of you are anywhere in the same country together, they have you or Viggo sneaking off together to pound each other's brains out."

Orlando stared at the carpet. He did not want to look her in the face when she discussed his and Viggo's sex life, even if what she was talking about was fictional.

"Toronto." She continued, "Some of those stories hit very close to the truth. And I meant what I said about that yellow shirt. If I ever see it again, it is toast."

Orli raised his head slowly, his mouth agape. "You read them?" His cheeks felt so hot, Robin could use them to light his shirt.

"It's my job to know what people are saying about you... Don't look at me like that, I just skim through them. I don't read the sex parts, believe me. I try to keep up on all the gossip so it can be disputed when needed. Some of them go into great detail about how you two manage secret rendezvous.

Orli just stared at her. When he finally found his voice, all he could say was, "I don't believe we are talking about this.. this. They are fiction. Everybody knows that."

"Orlando, you are going places. With your talent and your looks, there's no stopping you. Don't blow it by making out with your boyfriend.."

"Partner, or Lover, at the very least, but he is not simply a boyfriend," He interrupted.

She sighed, "Okaaay, Partner, in public. The less the two of you are seen together, the better. In fact, anyone male from that cast except John Rhys-Davies or Sean Astin.

This took Orli by surprise. He had seen the stories. Hell, he and Viggo had actually done a little role playing with some of them. However, he had never looked beyond the ones with him and Viggo. It kind of felt like cheating, or maybe, thinking about cheating, to read about himself with other guys.

"Surely not Sean Bean?"

"Yes, Sean Bean, and Karl, and David, and every good looking guy in that movie and every movie since then. Orlando, don't take this wrong. I love you, but you scream, "I'm gay". It is something I have been fighting since you hired me."

"Bloody hell, I'm a slut." He said it with a huge grin.

Robin shut her eyes and shook her head.
She could feel a migrain coming on.
"Orlando."

The way she said it reminded him of his mum, when he was a little kid, and in deep trouble.

"Sorry.." he muttered.

"Just be careful. Please, be careful. Don't get yourself into any trouble."

"Sir, yes sir." He replied with a salute.

She glared at him as she handed him his plane tickets. "Who's picking you up at the airport?"

"Vi.." He stopped himself and gave her his sheepish look, with wide eyes.

That look, no wonder he is so popular, she thought as she shook her head.

"You want a driver or a rental?"

"Rental," he mumbled.

"I'll make the arrangements. You leave that airport alone, do you hear me?"

"Yes, Mum," He said, as he wondered, again, why he paid her for this shite.

********************

Viggo had given Orli very thorough directions. The fact that they included such timeless items as a "right after the burnt barn", a "left across from the pond on the right", and "another right after the weathered house with a wrap around porch and half a dozen kids in the yard", did not instill confidence.
"If you pass an abandoned store with broken windows, you have gone too far." Viggo had ended with emphasis.

Orlando had to ask at that point, "Viggo, where in the Twilight Zone have you moved us?"

Viggo had simply laughed, "Orli, you are going to love it!"

Orli finally arrived a little before sundown and Viggo ran out of the house to greet him. He pulled him against his body in a deep, hard kiss, that conveyed the longing need and loneliness that both men felt.
When they finally broke apart, they just stood there holding each other.

"I've missed you." Viggo was the first to speak.
"God, soo much."

"Wish I could have picked you up at the airport."

"Me too. The drive was incredible."

"I'm glad you made it at sunset, there is something I have to show you."

He grabbed Orli's hand and led him behind the house and up the path. When they passed through the trees into the clearing Orlando's mouth dropped open.

"Now watch the tree in the middle when the sun hits it. This only happens at sunset."

Orlando managed to close his mouth and watch. Just as the sun was dropping over the forest, the last rays of light hit the tree and it began to sparkle. Little lights seemed to be twinkling all over it.

"I've tried to check it out. I can't figure out what causes it, if I got to close, it would stop. There must be something embeded in the bark."

"Viggo," Orli managed, "That's a graveyard."

"I know, it's awesome. Some of those tombstones date way back."

"Viggo, are you telling me you have been out here in the dark, alone, in a graveyard?"

"Only at sunset, Baby. Besides, they are all dead. They can't hurt anyone."

Orlando couldn't help the shudder that ran through him when he heard the word 'dead'. Viggo saw it and pulled him into his arms.

A cool breeze blew through the clearing causing the trees to moan softly. The twinkling of the tree died down as the sun sank below the tops of the trees. Orlando shivered in Viggo's arms.

"Are you cold? I know how to get you warm." He kissed Orli's nose, then leaned close to his ear. "I have missed you so much."

"Mmmm, me too. It is chilly out here, let's go back to the house. I can't wait to see it!" Orlando knew Viggo well enough to know that if he didn't get him moving toward the house he would want to fuck right there.

He ran his hand through Orli's curls and smiled at him. "You are going to love it."

As he led him down the path to the house Orlando risked a quick glance over his shoulder and froze.

"What?" Viggo asked when they came to a halt.

Orlando looked at him, then looked back. She was gone. "I saw.. I thought.. a child."

Viggo leaned to the side to look past Orli. "There's no one there."

"I know."

"No one can get on this property, trust me. There are no children here."

"Let's just go to the house, this place is, well, it's a graveyard and all." He wanted to say creepy, but wasn't sure how Viggo would take that.

"Sometimes, when the sun is going down you see shadows, that's all it was, I'm sure. Once you get used to it here, you will never want to leave. Come on angel, we still need to get your stuff out of the car."
