Into Love's Arms

When Denise woke up several hours later she felt refreshed and relaxed. She decided to go see how Heidi was doing in this strange place. Remebering Legolas's kiss she smiled and walked down the hall. Denise idly walked to Heidi's room admiring the simple beauty of Lorien. She rapped on the door of Heidi's room, when she got no awnser she opened the door. She was shocked by what she saw. Heidi was asleep and someone slept next to her! Denise smiled at the sight but she soon frowned when she saw Heidi shiver. She quietly walked into the room and over to the armorie. She retrieved a blanket and laid it across her best friend and her companion. Upon closer inspection she saw her friends companion was Lord Celeborn! Denise leaned over and kissed Heidi upon the forehead. She was so intent on Heidi that she didn't even notice that Lord Celeborn was awake. Giggling slightly Denise left and went to find Legolas.

Celeborn watched Denise leave before he returned his attention to Heidi. She looked so peaceful and content in her sleep. He watched her sleep uninturrupted for several minutes. Suddenly Heidi whimpered and thrashed in her sleep. Celeborn pulled her closer and whispered words of comfort hoping to ease her pain. Heidi sighed and cuddled closer to Celeborn,she wrapped her arms around Celeborn in an attempt to get closer. Suddenly her eyes opened and she sat up shocked by her actions.

"Oh my gosh! I am so sorry!" she looked everywhere but at him.

Celeborn placed his fingers under her chin and forced her to look into his eyes. "For what?" he asked softly.

"I..I..I forgot myself." Heidi whispered.

"It's alright. You asked me to stay and I did. You needed comfort and I gladly gave it." Celeborn smiled softly at her.

"Ok. Thank you."

"Would you like to learn elvish?" Celeborn asked and at her nod he continued. "Diola lle means Thank you."

"Oh ok then. Diola lle." she said smiling brightly at him.

"Lle Creoso means your welcome. So Lle Creoso Heidi."

Heidi blushed when he said her name, she liked how exotic he made it sound. She got up and walked to the vanity and began to brusr har hair. He moved to stand behind her.

"Would you have dinner with me tonight?" He asked growing uncofortable at her silence. Had he done something wrong? Had he pushed her to much?

"Sure." her awnser was so soft he almost missed it.

"We can invite Denise and Legolas if you wish."

She brightened at that. "I think she likes him alot. Maybe even loves him."

"I think that he is quite taken with her." Celeborn laughed lightly with Heidi. Smiling he turned and left the room after saying "See you tonight."

"Your joking!"

"No I am serious!"

"You saw then together? In bed?"

"Yes but not like that!"

"Damn."

"Why does that shock you Legolas?"

"It dosen't." Legoals assured Denise.

"Is he married?" Denise asked as they strolled through Lorien.

"Was. She went west, back to where elves came from."

"How long has she been gone?" Denise could kick herself for her prying questions.

Legolas laughed slightly, as if to reassure her. "A year. He has been so lonely."

"Ah so this is good then?" Denise smiled at Legolas admiring is elegant beauty.

"Aye very good." Legolas smiled back before he leaned in and kissed her lightly.

Denise blushed as she saw Haldir walking toward them.

"Good day." Haldir greeted them.

"Good Day." Legolas and Denise repeated together.

"Lord Celeborn wishes for you two to join him for dinner tonight." Haldir delivered his message.

"Of course. We would be honored." Legolas responded.

"Will anyone else be there?" Denise inquired politely.

"Your friend will." Haldir said smiling.

"Heidi? Wow." was all Denise was cabable of saying.

Haldir nodded and walked away smiling. He was glad that he and Legolas had found the women. For now Celeborn and Legolas could be happy and have someone to go home to at the end of the night. Haldir smiled it appeared that love was in the air in Lorien.
