Tryst

Author Note: I know.. I know.. I promised so much and have yet to deliver.. wah Princess.
Key: A bower is a leavy/flowery alcove, usually enclosed or semi-secluded.
Translations to elvish and Rohirric will be in { } due to the excess of it in certain sections. I'm not using straight proper Tolkien elvish.. learning an entire language of conjugations in order to write a fic boggles me.. so don't flame me..

Lena curses herself silently as she wove her way back to where she had left Legolas. She had gone to fetch a wet cloth and gotten turned around by the winding paths. She was finally pointed in the right direction and had words of apology for leaving Legolas quick on her lips when she heard hushed whispers coming from the bower where she'd left Legolas. She slowed, stopping just outside the entrance to the area, trying to hear what was being said.

Inside the hideaway, Aragorn crouched on the ground before Legolas, hands on the elves knees. "Shh, stille nú Legolas."{be calm now} Aragorn begged for Legolas not to cry out against him, even if he did have every right after that display at the festival. "Mani urna lle merna?" {What do you want?} Legolas snapped bitterly at Aragorn. "amin hiraetha" {I'm sorry} Aragorn whispered softly. "amin delotha lle Estel" {I hate you} But the bitter edge had left Legolas' voice as he looked into the tear filled eyes of his friend. "I didn't mean to.." Aragorn tried to apologize, running his fingertips along Legolas' knee cap. The elf rose quickly, knocking Aragorn backward. "You did.." The hurt in Legolas' voice pained him, but he knew it was the truth. It had been out of jeolousy that he'd punched his friend, nothing else.

Lena swallowed hard, she didn't understand most of the conversation, but she understood the pain in the tones and the choked up sound in Aragorn's voice. Surely Legolas would accept Aragorn's apology, it couldn't have been that important.. but would could have made Aragorn hit Legolas so suddenly?

Aragorn rose, walking to where Legolas stood, now facing a wall of foliage, trying to ignore the man. Aragorn wasn't about to ignore him however. It almost humored him to see the elf's temper tantrum and he was sure that what he couldn't see of his cross armed posture was a pouting lip. Aragorn slid his hands from Legolas' elbows, down his arms as he came up behind him. He brought his hands to rest over Legolas', his head resting softly on his shoulder. "amin hiraetha," Aragorn whispered softly against the elf's neck. "I truly am, mellonamin" Legolas didn't respond, but he didn't shy away from the man's touch.

What she witnessed through the leaves and branches, shocked Lena. This was something that had never occured to her. She immeadiately corrected herself, it had occured to her, in some of her most realistic dreams. But to be here, seeing this now.. and their fight earlier, was Aragorn jealous? of Legolas' attention toward her? How could such a beautiful man ever feel threatened by her? She heard nothing else, and it was hard to see them where they had moved. It was in her effort to see them that a twig snapped underfoot, knocking Aragorn and Legolas from their silence.

Aragorn released his hold on Legolas as both turned toward the entry. It wasn't hard for either to figure out who it was, only Lena knew where she had left Legolas, everyone else was enjoying the merriment.
Knowing she'd been found out, Lena entered the alcove hesitantly, ashamed that she had caused animosity between these two people. The two stood so close together, she might have missed Legolas' fingers running against Aragorn's pant leg in a blind search for his hand, trying to regain some of the contact lost when they'd turned toward the entry.

The two men stood for a long moment of silence, watching Lena. Lena in turn, stood, watching, wondering what she could do to make them understand that she didn't want to threaten their relationship. She guessed that this wasn't openly public, as Aragorn and Arwen were know to be coupled. So not only did the two have to fear that she would rip them from eachother, but that they would be exposed.
Lena raked her brain, trying to think of what she could do to end this silence. Sometimes words weren't enough. Approaching them slowly, she did the only thing she could think of, her her actions show her intentions. She sensed Aragorn's tension as she ran her fingertips down Legolas' jaw. Legolas closed his eyes, expecting either a kiss from Lena or another outburst from Aragorn. He got neither. Instead, Lena turned her attentions to Aragorn, giving him another brief, chaste kiss.

Though Aragorn seemed to remain passive at her actions, the thought came toolasolas' mind that he was the one who liked her, and she'd now kissed Aragorn twice.

Lena knew the only way to Legolas was to build a bridge with Aragorn, for both of their sakes. Placing one hand firmly in Legolas' free hand, and the other on Aragorn's chest, she kissed him again. This time, she deepened the kiss, willing him to respond. As she kissed the man, she brought Legolas' hand to rest at her waist, running her fingertips sensually up the length of his arm. As Aragorn began to respond, Lena broke the kiss and moved her hand from Legolas' shoulder, hooking it behind his head and bringing him in for a kiss.
While Lena kissed Legolas, she continued to run her hand up and down Aragorn's chest, soothing him, promising him more attention to come. Understanding also, Aragorn's need to be included, Legolas squeezed Aragorn's hand, taking his own turn to break the kiss from Lena. While still holding Lena tightly with his arm, he released orn\orn's hand and pulled him close by his shirt, kissing him fiercly. Lips meshed and tongues warred with such a passion, Lena's knees threatened to go weak on her. The passionate lock ended, punctuated with a few quick, efuleful kisses. Both had labored breathing and Legolas rest his head on Aragorn's chest as they both turned to look at Lena, the lust obvious in their eyes.

As the shock sunk in for her, it occured to her that she was probably the first one to ever see them like this, much less try to embrace it. Their eyes held more than lust, they were waiting for acceptance. Slowly, Lena pressed her lips to Aragorn's, opening her mouth to his. It was almost to much to taste Legolas' earthy flavor mixed with Aragorn's own. She thanked Legolas silently for the strong arm which held her waist and most likely kept her from melting into a pile of goo. She was living the fantasy of thousands of girls and her own erotic dreams. She was in an earthy hide away, in the arms of two beautiful creatures.
It was only Legolas' forcefully pulling Lena back which ended her kiss with Aragorn. His pressed a finger to his own lips, encouraging the others to listen for the voices he heard. Sure enough, someone was approaching their hideaway. Legolas held Lena close to his side, fingers kneading at her hip in anxiety as they awaited their visitor. Aragorn on the other hand, did his best to calm his breathing and regain rational thought.

"There you are" Elrond remarked as he stepped into the entry of the bower. He looked from the distressed looking Aragorn to the bunny like couple who seemed barely able to keep their hands from eachother. If only Elrond knew that Aragorn was the one itching to get his hands on both. But instead they stood their, goading him while he played nice for Elrond. "I trust that you've led led whatever that foolishness out there was?" Elrond asked the men questioningly. Both nodded. "It was my fault" Lena stepped forward, away from Legolas' grasp. "Aragorn thought that Travnd Ind I were together, because we shared a home, he thought Legolas was going to harm my honor." Elrond looked to Aragorn for his response. "It's true father, but it was my fault for assuming the worst of my friends." It was now Legolas' turn to step forward. "Nay, it was my fault Elrond, I should have picked a better time than when Aragorn was love sick to trouble him with the affairs of my heart."
"Well," Elrond sighed. "It seems that you are all apologetic in your own right. I trust that you'll keep in mind that the behavior you displayed was not befitting of royalty and is not to be displayed in front of our guests again." All three nodded and murmered agreeance. "Legolas, Celeborn is on his way to visit your father, but he wishes a word with you.." Legolas flashed a sorrowful look to Lena. He had to be about his princely duties. "Go ahead Legolas, I'll see her back to her room." Aragorn assured him.

Once Legolas and Elrond were a distance from their hideaway, Aragorn and Lena ventured out toward her room. "I'm sorry if I've caused trouble between you.." Aragorn silenced her, bringing a fingertip to her lips. "You make Legolas happy, Lena." "So do you.." Lena added under her breath. There had been no mistaking that sated look in Legolas' eyes when he'd been in Aragorn's arms. "then sleep well, it is quite a task keeping elves happy." Aragorn smirked as he stopped in front of her room.

There would be no good bye kiss this time, she'd already caused enough jeolousy between them. Instead she simply squeezed his hand and departed back to her room, back to her world. Back to her empty apartment, looking up at the posters of Legolas and Aragorn on the ceiling above her bed. Heres to a deep sleep and hott dreams, she thought to herself as she pulled the covers over herself and closed her eyes.
pretty elves and hott men... mmm...
