Author's note: Warning! One more rape in this episode. Thank you for the kind reviews. We're up to item 4 in the outline! I did want to let readers know that this is, in fact, a love story. I know it's hard to believe, considering how much attention I've paid to this torture and rape stuff. But this chapter should be the last of that, and we'll now be dealing with consequences. Hope you enjoy this installment!
Chapter 5
"Get your asses down here, orcs, and start fighting!" Burznach yelled. He was whipping his horse in a frenzy, desperate to escape his pursuers. Luckily the pass through the foot of the mountains to the gate was narrow, only about three horses wide, and it curved back and forth. Those blasted elves wouldn't be able to ride at full speed. He only had to get to the door in the stone wall that led to the caves, but if his men didn't back him up soon he was one dead orc.
To Burznach's relief he saw his forces finally pour out of the cave and down from their hiding places above the path. He pulled his horse back, slowing to a walk. He turned to watch the two elves behind him. They were both swinging their swords, mowing down orc after orc in their mad frenzy to get through. Burznach laughed.
"You'll never get me, elf scum! We've got superior numbers. We'll be feasting on elf flesh tonight!" He ducked down in time to avoid a knife thrown by the blond elf.
"Missed me, bitch!" He said. "I'm going to really enjoy killing your friends!" Burznach turned his horse and headed into the orc caves.
"Elladan! He's getting away!" Legolas said breathlessly. They were completely surrounded by orcs and couldn't get at the orc leader.
"There's no way out of those caves. Don't worry, we'll get him," Elladan said between swings of his blade. He regretted chasing that damn orc before the reinforcements got to the base of the mountain, but his temper had gotten the better of him. The only thing keeping him and Legolas alive at the moment was the relatively tight squeeze in the passage they were in. There were numerous orcs surrounding them but only a few at a time could engage the two elves in battle due to the close quarters.
"I hear the others!" Legolas said, moving his horse closer to Elladan. He could hear Glorfindel and many other elves fighting their way through the orcs behind them. He and Elladan would have help very soon.
Elladan continued to push his horse further down the pass, trying to work his way to the entrance to the orc caves. He was hampered by the large number of dead orcs in his path, but he was determined to press on.
"Elladan, hold!"
Elladan turned to see Glorfindel and others behind him. They had cleared the passageway. He turned back toward the cave entrance hearing a commotion in that direction. At the sight of the elves riding down the path the orcs in front of them had stopped fighting, turned, and fled into the caves.
"Cowards!" Elladan shouted. He and the other elves galloped down the passage to the cave entrance.
Elladan and Legolas slid off their horses. Elladan didn't wait for the others to catch up. He strapped his knives to his legs - in close quarters fighting they would be more effective then his sword - then dashed into the cave.
"Wait, Elladan, wait until we have more warriors to go in. We don't know how many orcs are down there. Your father wants to go in with you too!" Glorfindel yelled after him.
Glorfindel turned to Legolas, but he had run into the cave right behind Elladan.
Glorfindel turned to the elves gathering behind him. "We'll have to attack now. Go in groups, not alone. Follow every passage and leave no survivors. If any elf is struck down, you must bring him back up. When the dwarves get here we cannot have any elf unaccounted for. We will start the signal to evacuate from this door. When you hear it, take up the signal and head up."
The elves nodded their agreement and started into the cave. Glorfindel stayed outside the cave repeating his directions to the elves that continued to come down the path. He would wait to go into the caves when Elrond arrived.
"Legolas, stay close," Elladan said as he ran down a corridor. "This place is a maze."
"How are we going to find them, El?" Legolas said.
"We'll just have to hope that my bond with Elrohir will lead us there. Besides, as long as we keep going down, we should eventually find the dungeon. Dungeons are always on the lowest level."
Elladan stopped abruptly when they turned a corner and ran into a small company of orcs. The orcs roared and ran at the elven pair. Despite being outnumbered, Elladan and Legolas quickly dispatched the orcs and continued down the corridor.
Burznach mumbled to himself as he scooted down different corridors trying to get to a set of stairs that led down to the dungeons. He was having a hard time making any progress because his orcs were in full panic mode. They ran around ineffectually, trying to escape the roving bands of elves storming the place.
"It figures I got stuck with the most useless orcs in the whole world. Letting those fucking pansies get them on the run. I hate elves and I spit on the one who created them!" Burznach ducked into an alcove as four elves ran by. "Long-haired freaks!" He hissed.
Burznach worked his way to the great hall. He knew there was a hidden staircase behind the throne that led to the dungeons below. If he could only get to it he could cut his two prisoners to pieces before the elves could find them.
The great hall was boiling over with orcs and elves, pitched battles raging throughout. Damn! How was he going to get to the other end? Burznach noticed that the right side of the hall had few elves - it was filled with orc corpses. He dropped to his stomach and slowly crawled around the bodies. He had to stop and lie still several times when an elf would approach him. It was almost impossible not to leap up and slit a throat or two, but then he would have been killed. It was obvious his kingdom was doomed. The elves would not leave any of his people alive, so he was going to fall back on the most basic principle - every orc for himself. He would live to fight elves again when he was at an advantage.
Finally he made it to the throne. He looked up to the dais and saw the low table where the elf whore had lain for so many hours. He decided it was all worth it. He could always find new orcs to command, but it was a once in a lifetime experience to fuck such a delicious piece of elf pussy. If only I didn't have to kill him, thought Burznach. There was so much more I could do.
He turned his attention back to the task at hand. He lay still next to the dais, lifting his head a little to check out the hall. Most of the elves had left the room, so he should be safe getting up. He stood and quickly ran behind the throne and opened the door to the lower levels. Success! He flew down the steps.
Elladan and Legolas had not been able to find any stairs to get to a lower level. Elladan bellowed in frustration when they reached another small room that turned out to be a dead end.
"Damn it! You can't tell me these blasted orcs were skilled enough to build this place." Elladan kicked a small chair across the room in frustration.
"Can you feel Elrohir at all? You said you'd be able to follow your bond," Legolas said. He was panting for breath. They had already fought so many orcs and hadn't made any progress. Elladan's anger was also wearing him down.
"Not with all this fighting going on! It's useless."
"Let's go back into the corridor and continue in the same direction. We're bound to find someone who has seen stairs." Legolas pulled one of his knives out to the orc he had slain, wiping the blood on its dirty tunic. He grabbed Elladan's hand and led him into the corridor.
"Legolas!"
Legolas turned to see Elrond and Glorfindel coming down the corridor. He was surprised to see several formidable looking dwarves with them.
"Have you found a way yet?" Elrond said.
"No. This place is crazy. The only thing we find is little rooms with orcs in them,"olasolas said.
"Father, can you feel mother? I can't feel anything from Elrohir." Elladan felt drained. He was so frustrated with himself. He thought he'd be able to rush in and find Elrohir immediately.
"No, there's too much going on. But, I have some good news. Lord Malin here," Elrond said, pointing to the tallest of the dwarves, "says he knows of a stair to the lower level. Dwarves built this stronghold."
Malin nodded agreement. "I do. We have to get to the main hall. There is a passage in the back that leads directly to the lowest level."
"Finally!" Elladan said. "Let's stop dawdling. Lead the way, my good dwarf."
Malin frowned at such familiarity. "Right this way, young elf." He walked down the corridor.
The small party made it to the great hall. It was slowly clearing of battle and there were a lot of orc bodies. Malin pointed to the throne. "That wasn't part of the original design. Behind there should be a door, if these insects haven't boarded it up."
The elves turned to look at the throne and they all saw a large orc dash behind the throne.
"That was Burznach, father," Elladan said. He and Legolas broke out into a run to follow the orc.
"Elladan, wait!" Elrond said, but it was no use. His son disappeared behind the dais. "Come, Glorfindel, we must follow them."
Elrond and Glorfindel headed toward the back. When he reached the dais he stopped briefly to look at the table.
"My lord, what is it?" Said Glorfindel.
Elrond swayed. "That table. Elrohir." He couldn't continue.
"Come, my lord, we have to go after your son."
Elrond nodded his head, unable to speak. The two elves followed the stairs down to the dungeon.
Celebrian cringed, hunkering down next to Elrohir when she heard another group of orcs tumbling down the hallway. She didn't know what was going on, but every other word sounded like elf. She felt pleased knowing her people were slaughtering these beasts, but where were Elrond and Elladan? She could only sense a lot of confusion through the bond, and couldn't make a solid connection with her husband.
Next to her Elrohir moaned loudly.
"Elrohir, you must keep quiet," she whispered, putting her hand over his mouth. In the hours since they had changed rooms he had slipped into a delirium and didn't know what he was doing.
He shook his head trying to get free. He let out a rather loud cry.
"Baby, please!" She said. The only thing she could think to do is press his face into her chest, hoping that would muffle the sound.
She heard more orcs outside the room. This time they didn't run by - they stayed. What were they going to do?
Elrohir woke and found his face pressed into his mother's chest.
"Mother, let go," he mumbled against her, trying to free his head from her grip. "I'm awake!"
"Finally. You must be quiet," Celebrian whispered. "Some orcs are standing right outside the door."
Elrohir pulled himself up and wrapped his arms around his mother. "What's been happening?"
"From what I've gotten out of the ramblings in the hallway there is a large elven army attacking this place. The orcs are on the run!"
Elrohir sighed with relief. He had tried not to hope too much for rescue in case it didn't work out. "Oh, mother, we're going to make it." He pulled her closer. They huddled in the corner behind the door.
"Ozmak, give me that key! The only way we're getting out of this place alive is with leverage - and these two are it."
"You're not the boss of me, Biznax! I'll open the door and take the elf scum with me."
"I said, give me that key!" Biznax said. Ozmak was being very obstinate, and didn't hand him the key. He wasn't going to stand for this kind of insolence. He punched Ozmak to the ground and fell on top of him, raining blows all over his torso.
"Stop that, you elf-spawn!" Ozmak grabbed one of Biznax's wrists.
"How dare you insult me like that!" The two orcs fought until Biznax slammed Ozmak's head into the ground, momentarily stunning him.
"I'll take that key now." He rifled through Ozmak's belt pack and found the key.
"I would have given it to you." Ozmak stood up, holding his head. "Ouch! You didn't have to hit me so hard!"
Biznax unlocked the door and stepped inside. "You're coming with us, scum!" He didn't see the elves right away. In fact, he didn't seem them at all!
"Where did they go?" He said.
"Where did who go?" Said Ozmak.
"The elves! They're not here!"
"What? That's impossible. We locked them up." Ozmak entered the cell, looking around. Surely Biznax was blind and didn't see the elves cowering in the corner or something.
"They're not here!" Ozmak said after surveying the room.
"That's what I said, you horse's ass!"
Ozmak turned to Biznax, his gray face even grayer. "It was elf magic!" He quickly ran out of the room.
"What are you doing, coward?"
"That room is full of elf magic!"
"No it's not. It's full of elf vomit and elf piss, but no elf magic."
"How do you explain their disappearance then?"
Biznax looked puzzled. "Maybe someone else came and took them away."
The two orcs stood in the hallway looking at each other.
"What are we going to do now, Biznax? Those demons have both anceances blocked."
"Calm yourself down you blathering idiot. The east and west doors aren't the only ways out!"
"Well lead us to one of these secret exits, blockhead!" Ozmak said. "We'll have to do without our leverage."
"Ozmak! Biznax! Hold!"
The two orcs turned around. They saw Burznach barreling down the corridor toward them.
"The elves have overrun the place. We have to kill the prisoners and make our escape." Burznach stopped to look at the open cell door. "Well, go get them!"
Biznax looked at the floor. "They ain't in there, boss."
"What? Where did you take them?"
"I mean we opened the door and they weren't in there."
"It was elf magic!" Ozmak said. He cringed when Burznach looked at him.
"There's no such thing you fool. Now tell me where you put them or I'll remove your head!"
"Boss, I don't know how but they got out of the cell. We have to forget about them and leave."
"No," Burznach said. "They will pay for this. We will find them and slice them into a million pieces."
"I'm telling you, boss, Biznax unlocked the door and there were no elves!"
Burznach groaned in frustration. "Fine, let's just get out of here. I know where there's a hidden outlet."
The three orcs headed back toward the corridor where Burznach came. They stopped abruptly in the guard's room. Elladan and Legolas were standing in the room with weapons drawn.
"Where are they you monsters?" Elladan yelled.
Burznach held his head high. He spat on the ground in front of Elladan. "We've moved them where you'll never find them, freak."
He pushed Ozmak and Biznax at the elves to engage in battle, then ran back down the cell block. He ran into a cell and slammed the door shut behind him. He cursed when he heard the lock click shut behind him.
"Damn dwarves and their doors!"
He banged his head against the door, feeling trapped like a rat. He snapped his head to the right at the sound of a small gasp.
Biznax and Ozmak stumbled toward the elves, but they didn't start fighting.
The dark-haired elf spoke. "I'm going to give you one chance to live, orc. If you tell me where the prisoners are we won't kill you. You get to run away from here. If you make it out, fine. If not, that's fine too. Do we understand each other?"
Ozmak was speechless. This crazy elf was as scary as any of the Masters.
"They're down that hall, in one of the cells," Biznax said, his voice cracking, pointing to the open doorway. He grabbed Ozmak's arm and bolted out a door in the opposite wall, slamming the door behind him. It locked automatically behind them.
"Biznax, those elves ain't down there! They'll kill us!"
"By the time they find out we'll be out of here! Now shut up and run!"
Legolas lowered his weapons. "You think they're telling the truth?" He turned to look at Elladan, but he had already run out of the room. He sighed and headed toward the door.
"Legolas," Elrond said, coming up behind him.
Legolas stopped and turned to face the elf lords. "We think they're in a cell down this way."
"Let's go then."
The three elves left the room.
Burznach stared at the elves cowering in the corner. He turned back to look at the cell they had originally been in just across the hall, then back at them.
"You...you just went across the hall? That was your escape plan?" He couldn't believe it.
"Please, leave us be. Our people are on their way. It's over," Celebrian said, pleading with the orc leader. They were so close to being rescued, and now it was too late. She had heard the door lock engage and knew they were doomed. Even if Elrond found them they wouldn't be able to get in. Burznach would kill them.
Burznach sauntered over to his priss. Ts. The female was dirty but otherwise unharmed. The ellian, however, didn't look so good. His swollen legs, bruised body, and shorn hair made him look more like an orc than an elf.
"Your whelp isn't looking too good," he said, laughing at her indignant expression. "I should just put him out of his misery, what do you think?" He pulled out his knife and started cleaning his nails with it.
"He's just a bit run down, that's alllittlittle soup and some rest and he'll be good as new," she said. There wasn't any reason to kowtow to this beast anymore.
"Run down? By a herd of oliphants, maybe." He looked thoughtfully at Elrohir. "You know, I'm feeling a little bit horny again. Nothing like a good battle and the slaying of hundreds of elves to get the pecker up, right sweetie?"
Celebrian looked him up and down - there wasn't a smattering of blood anywhere. This orc hadn't harmed anyone!
"You haven't fought anyone, liar!"
Burznach grabbed her hair and hauled her up to her feet, knocking Elrohir to the ground again. Burznach pulled her face close, inches from his. "Are you impugning my warrior skills, elf? I've killed more elves then you've had hot dinners!"
He dropped his knife to the ground to slap her across the face. He moved his hand from her hair to her arm and pulled her to the other side of the cell.
"You are going to sit right here, bitch, and watch me fuck your son again. You can scream all you want because the long-haired freaks outside can't get into this cell. Dwarves made it!" He slammed her back against the cell wall and slapped her again. She sank to the floor crying.
"Stupid weak bitch," he said. He turned his attention back to Elrohir. "Now, for some more fun," he said.
Burznach returned to where Elrohir was lying helpless on the ground. The elf had tried to right himself again but his injuries were too severe. He lay there watching the orc.
"Please don't do this. If you leave me be, I'll tell the others that you were kind to us and you should go free," Elrohir said.
"Take mercy from an elf? I'd rather die," Burznach said. He dropped to his knees next to Elrohir. He yanked the tattered tunic the elf was covered with and tossed it aside.
"Wow, you're legs are looking worse then ever. Maybe I should amputate them for you?"
"No, please don't do this."
"OK, then, I'll just give you a good hard fuck."
Burznach pushed Elrohir's legs apart and moved between them. Helpless to prevent the orc's actions, Elrohir turned his head to the wall and closed his eyes. As he felt the monster's engorged penis invade his body again, he drifted off into a reverie. Maybe it was finally time to release his spirit to Mandos. He and his mother were doomed anyway. He barely felt the insistent thrusts of the orc.
Celebrian watched Burznach rape her son again. Elrohir was just l the there, not trying to fight at all. Maybe he's finally dead, she thought. She was about to begin crying when she was startled out of her state by shouting.
"Mother! Elrohir! Can you hear me? Where are you?"
She couldn't believe her ears! It was Elladan! She struggled to her feet and stumbled to the cell door. She peered out the window.
"Elladan! We're in here! With an orc!" She wept in joy when she saw that beloved face outside the door.
"Father and Glorfindel and Legolas are here too! We'll find a way to get in there!"
Celebrian heard Elladan kicking the door fruitlessly. Elrond and Glorfindel were arguing about how to get the door open.
"Hurry! The orc is...doing unspeakable things to Elrohir!"
Elladan's face appeared at the window again, his face contorted in rage.
"ORC! Come out and face me like a true warrior!"
Celebrian turned to look at Burznach. He seemed unfazed by the yelling. He was thrusting his organ into Elrohir while licking his face and neck. She felt a wave of nausea that threatened to overwhelm her. The orc sped up his movements until he fell forward on top of Elrohir, releasing his seed.
Elrohir slowly turned his head back to face his mother. His eyes were focused again. He whispered something she could barely hear.
"Your wrist."
"What? I couldn't hear you, son." She stepped a little closer, too afraid to approach the orc.
Elrohir cleared his throat. "Your wrist." He flicked his eyes down to her hand.
Celebrian pulled her left arm up and stared in amazement at her wrist. The key! She had never removed it from her arm. She returned to the door and the commotion going on behind it. The others had not found a way through the door.
"Elladan! Come here!" She fumbled at the knot around her wrist, struggling to release the key. She kept stealing glances at Burznach to see if he noticed what she was doing, but he remained focused on Elrohir, thrusting into him again for yet another release.
She finally untied the cloth and dropped the key on the ground. Burznach did look up at that, locking eyes with her. He didn't yet realize the implications of that sound. Celebrian bent to pick up the key and deliberately showed it to him with a look of triumph on her face. She handed it to Elladan through the window and stepped back. The lock clicked and the cell door opened.
Burznach gaped in horror at the sight of four elf lords entering the cell. He froze in mid-thrust, penis still buried in Elrohir. His doom was upon him.
Elrond turned to Celebrian when he entered the cell. He felt sick when he saw how dirty and scared and bruised she was. He immediately reached out his arms for her and she fell into them with a wail. She was sobbing into his chest and wouldn't let go. He turned around to face the orc.
Legolas gasped at the scene in front of them. His dearest friend was lying on the ground, unrecognizable, the orc between his legs. He grabbed Elladan's arm, feeling faint.
Elladan's face turned a deathly white. "Orc, move away from him, now."
Burznach pulled his now flaccid penis out of Elrohir. He held his hands n thn the air in a gesture of supplication. "Whatever you say, elf. No worries."
"Get up." Elladan moved a step closer and brought his knives up.
Burznach swiftly pulled his sword out of its sheath on his belt. He leaned over and held it to Elrohir's throat.
"You come any closer, this bitch gets it."
Elladan stopped. He looked at his brother's face. Elrohir looked completely out of it, but he was still alive.
"We're going to kill you no matter what, orc, so just give up now!" Legolas said.
"You better shut up your little blond whore there, elf. He'll get this one killed if he speaks to me like that again." Burznach laughed when Legolas flushed bright red. "Or I can break him in for you like I did this one."
Elladan, too angry to speak, took another step forward. Burznach pressed the sword tighter against Elrohir's neck.
"I mean it when I said I'd kill him, demon." Elladan stopped again.
"It would seem we are at an impasse then," said Glorfindel.
Elrohir faded in and out of consciousness while Burznach raped him. He could feel the thick penis in him, but that wasn't as bad as the foul stench emanating from the orc's mouth. He would never forget that smell as long as he lived. Which, thankfully, wouldn't be but a few more minutes. He couldn't hold on to his spirit anymore. This was just too much.
When Burznach started thrusting into him for a second release, Elrohir sighed in relief. This was it. I'm sorry, Elladan, he thought. I tried to hold on for you and Legolas, but I can only take so much.
He closed his eyes and prepared to let go.
Wait. What was that? Could it be? No - it couldn't be Elladan, could it?
Elrohir groaned as he pulled his spirit back in. He had to see. He looked in the direction of the voices. It was! It was Elladan! And Legolas!
Elrohir had never seen a more beautiful sight in his life. Four beautiful, strong elven warriors standing together, a quartet of avenging spirits. Elrohir struggled to comprehend the conversation going on, but it was difficult. The orc had rekindled all the pain in his legs, which now arose to a crescendo of agony. A glint on the floor caught his eye. He struggled to clear his vision.
He did see it. He saw a knife on the ground not far from where he was lying. Stupid orc! It was the knife he had dropped when he grabbed Celebrian I think I can reach it, he thought.
Elrohir slowly moved his arm up and to his side. Everyone in the room was ignoring him. If he could just reach the knife. He felt his fingers grasp the handle of the knife. He was about to lift it when he felt a sharp blade across his throat.
"Move away from the door, let me go free, and I'll leave the elf whore alive," Burznach said. "That's my offer. What say you?"
The elves looked at each other.
"Elladan, I know it's not what you want, but let's give in to the orc. Elrohir's life is more important than revenge," Elrond said.
Elladan stared at his father, then looked back at Burznach. The rage that burned in his soul threatened to shatter him. He couldn't just give in to this monster! He had to, though. Their primary objective had to be saving their family, not taking revenge. He nodded his agreement.
"Agreed, orc," Elladan said. "But remember you this - elves *never* forget those who wronged them. We never give up until we've exacted our blood price. You may walk out of this cell alive, but you will have to spend every waking moment of the rest of your miserable existence looking over your shoulder. I will not rest until I have found you - and you will beg for death before the end."
Burznach paled at the cold-blooded voice. He looked at Elrond.
"We agree to your terms, orc. You may leave this cell and we will not follow you. I can't say the same for any elves that find you after this," Elrond said, pulling Elladan back from the door. Legolas and Glorfindel followed suit.
Burznach watched them for a moment, then sheathed his sword. He fumbled with his britches, pushing his penis back in and lacing them up. He looked back at Elrohir, whose eyes were focused on him.
"They may have agreed to that plan, orc, but I did not," Elrohir said. He reared up into a sitting position, grabbed Burznach's thin hair, and plunged the knife into his throat. He held on tight as the orc struggled, grabbing at his arm. He yanked the knife out and plunged it in again. Blood poured out of the wounds. He pulled the knife out again and sank it into the orc's eye. He sped up hitiontions, repeatedly removing the knife and plunging into the orc over and over again - into his face, throat, chest - anywhere he could reach.
The other elves watched transfixed as Elrohir mutilated Burznach's body. He started crying, eventually slowing his motions down. Elrond stepped forward and lightly grasped his wrist.
"That's enough, son, the orc is dead," he said softly, moving his arm around his son's shoulders. Elrohir was sobbing, hopeless keening wails ripping through his body. Elrond pulled him close. Legolas came over and pulled the orc's corpse off of Elrohir, then knelt next to his friend. He put his arms around Elrohir's neck, pressing their heads together.
Elladan held onto his mother, who had been given into his care by Elrond. He was shaking as much as she was. His own tears started flowing until he was crying almost as hard as Elrohir. He fell to his knees, squeezing his mother to his chest.
Glorfindel stepped just outside the cell door, leaving the family to their grief. Even he wasn't unaffected by the sight of the little ellian he had helped raise being totally defiled by the orc scum. He wiped tears from his face.
He noticed that several elves had gathered in the guard's room down the hall, waiting patiently for word. He headed in their direction.
"Send word that they are found, and they are alive. Start the evacuation, and let the dwarves know we're ready to blow this place straight to Mordor."
