Elrond smirked at his son, then took a step toward Legolas and smiled "You see prince Legolas, Elladan may be much older then you, but when around his Adar, he can revert to sounding like an elfling"


Legolas snorted and smiled as Elladan dropped his jaw "Adar!"


Elrond reached out and patted his sons shoulder, then looked back and smiled kindly "I must say prince Legolas, I find it impressive for an elf your age to have the strength to confront his intended mate with such fears. Oddly enough, it seems your isolation has placed your minds thoughts past your age, instead of the reverse...that is rather rare. When I sent Glorfindel to retrieve you I was expecting him to return with a timid mentally underdeveloped elf...not the strong fea I see before me"


Legolas blinked as he absorbed the words, then inclined his head "Han...hannon le lord Elrond"


The elven lord then tilted his head "I believe it wise that you are wanting to test yourself in such a way. You should know where your limitations are...and if you Can handle Elladans seed upon you, perhaps you may think on testing his dominance over you...tho as his Adar, my fears for his safety need to be expressed...should you attempt to conquer this fear as well, I would only ask that you have no weaponry near you...I like my ions neck as it is...without protruding blades"


Legolas lowered his head and nodded "That I Did think of...and...and I am not armed right now"


Elrond tilted his head and sighed "That must have been hard to confess with me in the room, that you are unarmed in my presence, perhaps someday prince Legolas, you will have trust in me...for I speak truthfully when I say that I would never harm you like Thalos did...I know my yelling at you on the table when you first arrived was frightening, but you were hurt and I knew not how to convince you at the time that I could be trusted..."


Elrond then turned, walked to the door and smiled kindly "Elladan is correct, you need to test these possible fears in a place where you have never been...and will more then likely never return. Therefore, I offer you both my privet chamber for the evening. I will stay with Erestor this night"


And with that, Elrond walked out.


Legolas blinked and shook his head as he glanced to Elladan who was standing there dumfounded just stareing at the door "Your Adar mean what say? He offer us his chamber?"


Elladan nodded mutely, then whispered "Adar does not lie, or joke about his private chamber...it is his sanctuary from from stress, Elrohir and I have only been in the outer chamber...never his private bedroom"


After they stood there in stunned silence for a few, Legolas turned and blinked "Your Adar creepiest elf I ever meet...he is so...so...calm and..."


Elladan turned and chuckled "Oh you have no idea...one time, when Elrohir and I got into trouble...he did not say a word. He just sat behind his desk and starred at us for over an hour, then just waved us away...tho I must admit, I believe your Adar is far creepier"


Legolas smiled and arched his brow "My Adar? Creepy? Hmm...that not first word that come to mind when think of Adar..."


The prince then paused in thought and then looked up and arched his brow "Dangerous...that first word I think"


Elladan broke into laughter, and then pulled Legolas close "You still want to do this melanin?"


The prince nodded and sighed "Nai, I need know"
