Later that night...................

Elladan looked over at Rumil who had fallen asleep by the fire, then
stilled his movements........

*Roh?*

*Aye Ella?*

*Are you buisy?*

*Nay, what do you need*

*Heavy sigh* *Haldir and Mel are watching Vel and Ron, and I get this
gut feeling that something is wrong. I can not leave Ru, would you go
and check on them? Besides Ru and me, you are the only other one they
listen to*

*Of course they listen to me, I am their Adars twin. I will go now to
make sure everything is alright*

*Hannon le Roh*

Cirdan smiled as Elrohir once again moved "Everything alright?"

After explaining the conversation, Cirdan nodded "I will be here when
you return"

Melpomaen quickly ran to the door of the chamber when he heard a knock
and flung it open "Elladan!"

"Nay, tis Elrohir"

"Who Cares help us saes!!"

Quickly entering the room, Elrohir sighed as he watched Haldir rip the
balcony curtain from its bar, carefully but swiftly drag it to the
privy,
then fling it into the bath to put out the flames.

Looking over to his nephews, Elrohir rolled his eyes as he watched them
jump up and down and clap their hands gleefully.

Narrowing his eyes, Elrohir crossed his arms over his chest and cleared
his throat.

The twins quickly spun to see who was there, then stilled. After a
moment, Thorvel nudged his younger twin and whispered "Tis not Adar,
tis
uncle Roh"

Thorons eyes widened a little as he bit his lip "Hello Uncle Roh"

"Sit!"

The twins instantly dropped to the floor and sat still "But Uncle Roh
we..."

"Quiet! How dare you endanger the Homely House! You know your are Not
to be playing with fire!"

Haldir walked over and stood next to Mel as Thorvel looked to the floor
"Were is Adar and Ada"

Elrohir arched his brow "Spending the night away. Your uncle Haldir and
Melpomaen are watching you for the Whole night, so cease hatching
plans to try and get your parents to come back. You will see them first
thing in the morning"

Thoron reached up and moved some of his blond hair from his eyes "But
they...they have never st...stayed away before...do they not love us
anymore?"

Elrohir sighed and turned to Haldir and Mel "I think I will leave this
one up to you two since you have both raised elflings and I have not",
he then turned back and rubbed his throat "I am going back to my
chamber...now tul, give me a hug"

After releasing Elrohir the twins ran over to their play area and Mel
shook his head "I should have known that the happy moods they were in
initially would ware off as night drew closer but I did not expect them
to set fire to the room"

Haldir looked to Elrohir and sighed "Hannon le prince Elrohir. But I
must ask...they are so..."

"Advanced for their age? Aye they are. Elladan and I have been
searching the library to see if we can find out why. Though Elladans
theory is that since Adar used Vilya during their birth, that could be
the reason"

Melpomaen nodded "Elladan has a point Elrond had his hands within
Rumil and used the ring to focus on the twins to make sure he removed
the firstborn first perhaps that intense
focus is the cause he also held them for a time as Vilya glowed
brightly"

After Elrohir left, the twins walked back over, lowered their
heads, and Thorvel sighed "We are sorry, tis just that Adar and Ada
have never left us alone and we were confused...and frightened"

Haldir arched his brow and crossed his arms "No mater how advanced you
two are, you are still elflings, of course you are confused by this. My
brother and Elladan have been your only world for this year, I can
understand your fears that they are now seeking alone time, but parents
do that. They needed a break"

Thoron looked to his elder twin, then nodded "We understand that
now...and we Do know they still love us...we are sorry"

Haldir nodded back "Apology accepted. Though I will now stress a
fact...I am Not beyond putting both of you over my knee to teach you
some humility. Do not act thusly again"

Thorvel blinked and tilted his head in deep thought, then looked to his
brother and whispered "Ayah, he speaks the truth, he would do this"

Thoron bit his lip and stepped forward "We will behave uncle Haldir"

When Anar peeked over the horizon, Elladan and Rumil woke. After lazily
laying in peace for a few, Elladan sat up and smiled "Let me get my
brothers report alright?"

Rumil sighed and stretched "Aye go ahead my love...but next time you
get a feeling about our little ones, you better wake me so that we can
deal with it together"

Elladan nodded "I will, you just looked so peaceful sleeping before the
fire, I had not the heart to wake you. You needed the rest"

*Roh?*

After a few moments, he got a response...........

*Aye...Ella?*

*I did not wake you did I?*

*Mmm...nay*

Realizing what kind of "Mmmm" that was, Elladan smiled.......

*Oh, you have uh...been up for a few ay?*

*Aye...and I can feel your smirk...make it quick Ella*

*Snort* *I just wondered how your visit to our chamber went*

Elrohir gave him the report and Elladan sighed........

*Alright then, hannon le brother...I think Rumil and I will go to Adar
today. I will leave you be now, I am sure that Cirdan wishes to have
your responses again*

Cirdan smiled as his love suddenly moaned, then purred loudly "Your
brother?"

*Purr* "Aye...he just needed...*Purr*...to know about...last
night...ahh!" *Purrrrr*

Elladan sighed as he pulled his fair love close and told him what
Elrohir said "You are right, we need to speak with my Adar"

"I am pleased you agree. Now, since we have not let them out of our
chamber this whole year, we will need to worn them about sights they
will see so they do not get frightened"

"Agreed, then we will take them straight to Adars study"
