Black Robes
Ch5
Jenda lowered her head. "I am sorry, my lord. He was frightened
because I was going to bathe him in your private bath and…"
Glorfindel slowly held up his hand and she quickly hushed. "Lanthir."
Still on the floor with his head down, Lanthir trembled. "Aye Ma…Master?"
"Get up."
Lanthir stood swiftly, his head lowered.
Glorfindel stepped closer. "Remove your clothes."
Jenda watched her master gaze at his new Pet with interest, noticing
how Glorfindel's breathing increased a bit. His eyes narrowing
slightly as his head tilted ever so to the left, "Now get into the
water and let Jenda bathe you. Do as she says."
Lanthir lowered himself into the water. "Aye Master, I am sorry Master."
Glorfindel watched as half of his new Pet disappeared under the warm
water. "Quiet." he said, then turned. "Jenda. Once he is washed and
where he should be, come and get me."
Jenda nodded, and then sighed as her golden lord left as quietly as he
arrived.
Lanthir bit his lip nervously. "Is he mad? Jenda? I…I can not tell. He
was so calm and…"
Jenda sighed as she grabbed the soap "Aye Lanthir, he was upset.
Though not overly and certainly not at you. He was more…annoyed."
The young Pet drew his knees up to his chest and wrapped his arms
around them as Jenda began to wash his back. "How can you tell what he
is feeling? In training, we were taught to read body language and
facial expressions so we could anticipate our master's wants. But with
Master Glorfindel, all I see is a blank expression."
Jenda smiled as she began to wash his hair. "In time, you will see how
his lips curve up ever so when he is amused. How his eyes narrow. How
his breathing pattern changes. Relax Lanthir. You will learn your new
master. Just give it time."
~*~*~
After heading downstairs, Glorfindel stood silently in the archway to
the library. He softly cleared his throat.
Lord Delereth did not even look up. He just waved him in. "I knew you
were there, ion. I could feel the hairs on the back of my neck bristle
from your gaze."
Delereth looked up as Glorfindel drew close, then blinked when he
noticed that his son had lightly smirked from his comment. `He…he
showed emotion! My comment amused him! Bless the stars!', "So ion, why
are you not up in your bedchamber enjoying your new Pet?"
Glorfindel slowly ran the tips of his fingers over the edges of the
books. He then proceeded to tell his father about Lanthir.
Delereth nearly spit his wine as he choked. "What?! He…he is an
untouched Pet?"
"Aye Adar"
The Lord of the House of the Golden Flower groaned as he shook his
head, "Ohhh ion. Why are you down here with me! You should be up there
atop of and in your Pet!"
Glorfindel poured himself some wine, refilled his father's glass, and
then sat down next to him.
Delereth furrowed his brow with concern. His son never sat so close to
him. "Ion?"
Glorfindel stared blankly at the bookshelf across the room. "Adar,
have you ever trained a Pet?"
Overjoyed that his son, who was normally distant, appeared to be
reaching out to him, Delereth smiled. "Well, there is always some
training to be done. The Pet trainers teach them the basics but when
they enter a home, they must learn there masters ways. Besides, you
know how to train a Pet. You have that disgusting bird."
Glorfindel narrowed his eyes. "Bitsy is not disgusting, and he is a
pet…not a Pet. You can hardly compare the two in training."
Delereth sighed as he shook his head. "Your "Bitsy" is a vulture, ion.
How is that not disgusting?"
Glorfindel's voice was low. "Adar…"
Delereth sighed and held up his hand. "Alright ion, alright."
Not wanting his son to pull away when he was finally opening up a
little, Delereth smiled. "Well, just look at your fair Jenda. Do you
remember what she was like when I first bought her for you?"
Glorfindel rolled his eyes as he leaned back on the long chair. He
then put his head back and stared at the ceiling. "Aye Adar, I
remember. You had her chained by the neck to my bed's holding ring.
Then, as soon as you told her I was her new Master, she took off all
her clothing, laid back on my bed and spread her legs."
Delereth chuckled, gently laying his hand on his son's knee. He then
noticed that Glorfindel stiffened at his touch, but otherwise, showed
no outward signs that he was uncomfortable. "Tell me ion. When I left
your room, did you have her?"
Glorfindel blinked, his mind falling back to the memory of that night…

Once his father left the room and closed the door, Glorfindel slowly
turned and narrowed his eyes. "Get off my bed."
Frightened by his flat tone, Jenda moved to do as told…but came up
short. Stopped at the edge of the bed, she shyly looked up and
trembled as she choked. "I…I'm sorry Master…the chain, it is not long
enough."
Without a word, Glorfindel put his knee on the bed and reached for the
holding ring on the wall above his headboard. As soon as she felt the
slack, she dove for the floor. "Saes…Master. Do not whip me! It was
where I was placed! I will never enter your bed again unless you bid
me to do so!"
Glorfindel looked down at her. "Put your clothes back on, and tell me
your name."
She quickly grabbed for her clothes and hastily began to dress. "My
name is Jenda. Though of course, that is with my Masters permission."
"Stand Jenda"
As she got to her feet, Glorfindel looked at her from head to toe. "I
do not care for your clothing. It is to revealing. I will have new
clothes commissioned, but until then…"
Jenda watched silently as her new Master walked over to his wardrobe
and pulled out an underlay.
"Until then…you will wear this. You will not wear dresses. I will have
leggings, underlays and tunics tailor made for you."
Slowly reaching out, Jenda took the underlay, noting that is was
obviously her master's and it would reach her knees if not lower. "As
you wish Master. Would you like for me to put this on now?"
Glorfindel nodded, then turned away. "Aye, then go and lay on the fur
before the fire."
Jenda quickly changed, then laid down on the fur, making herself
comfortable before the warm fire.
After settling, she glanced over and watched as her new master
silently striped the clean sheets she was placed upon. She then
blinked as Glorfindel tossed the sheets into the hall and remade the bed.
Jenda kept silent as she watched and thought, `He makes his own bed?
My he is an odd one. I hope…I hope he is gentle. He is so big and…and
oh he…he is coming over here…'
Glorfindel quietly walked over and sat in the plush chair. He then
glanced down before his feet where the fur and his new Pet lay.

Glorfindel looked over at his father, "Aye Adar. I have had her,
though not in the manner you would expect."
