Title: Getting Over You

Dom looked at Billy with furious, hurt eyes.
“Watch me getting over you.”, he whispered, grabbed a stunned Elijah and dragged him on the dance floor. He immediately placed a hand on the younger man’s hipbones, pressed him to his chest. He felt the music in him, on him, around him, the colorful lights reflected on his skin, made it shine and glitter red, green, blue. He threw his head back, pressed Elijah’s lips to his Adam’s apple, made him lick it. Then his lips were on Elijah’s, passionately occupying his mouth. And Billy was there to see it all.

Dom was on his knees, pounding, hitting, punching and beating the door in front of him. His face was wet with remorseful tears, his eyes red and swollen. He begged and pleaded to be let in, promised him everything in the world, he wanted it to make it better, make it alright again. He wanted to have him back so badly. He started screaming, shouting, crying his lungs out, he wanted to be near him now, explain it all. He did it wrong, he knew that. Too late. For no one opened up, no one answered, no one forgave him.

Dom came home and at once recognized the emptiness. No cheerful voice, no familiar face greeting him. His heart broke in two, the ache growing painfully inside him. No tears this time, he had been crying for so long it seemed senseless to start it all over again. He felt a soft prickle on his skin, it was so cold in their flat. No, his flat. He walked around, glimpsed through some doors. Everything was tidy and clean. He reached the stairs, a little piece of paper lay there.

Billy was gone.
