Nikkiling - HA!...Ya I would find it creepy to if I all of a sudden saw
a huge mural of myself on someone's bedroom wall...and his death at
that...*Shudders*...And just because you requested it...I will try and
work in a Legolas "Eww" for ya. Not sure where, but Ill try. I like
little details as well... :)

Sheeijan - Its funny you mention the butterfly mural...when I was
writing Glorfindel saying that, I pictured this giant Monarch butterfly
and Erestor lifting his robe up to his thighs and running full force!
HA!...And ya, Legolas...such a helpful little sneak... :)

~Back in Rivendel, close to evening~

Elrohir jumped out of the large hole he was in, then handed the shovel
to his brother "Your turn"

Elladan smiled, dropped into the hole and took up where his younger
half
left off "So what kind of tree is to be planted here?"

Elrohir shrugged "I know not. I just know that adar wants the hole
ready and is going to let the elleth pick, I think he wants her to feel
comfortable, she is a wood elf after all and Adars balcony is right
above
us and..." the younger twin paused and blinked at his brothers
expression "...what"

The elder twin sighed and shook his head "Aye gwadar, do you truly
believe that I am that dense? I know where we are and that adars
balcony is above us, and adars reason for the hole...all I asked
was...do you know what kind of tree was to be planted"

Elrohir dropped down into the hole and wrapped his arms around his
brother and rested his head on his shoulder "Nay, I do not believe you
are dense...you are a very intelligent warrior gwadar-nin. I...I am
just
worried for adar"

Elladan mirrored his brother and rested his head on his shoulder "As am
I my dearest gwadar"

The two of them stood embraced for a few, then stilled and looked up
when they heard weeping. Quietly leaving the hole, they stood directly
below there fathers balcony, tilted there heads to hear better, and
listened in on there father and Erestor...

"My lord, perhaps it will not be so bad"

"Not so bad? Erestor, I bonded with Celebrien out of duty. Nai, I
learned to love her...but it was more of a love from deep friendship
and understanding. When she dissolved our bond and sailed...I
thought...I thought perhaps I could...I was hopeing to be able to
find...."

Erestor gently rubbed his lords back and sighed as Elrond broke into
fresh tears "My lord, who knows...perhaps the Mirkwood princess would
allow you a lover and..."

Elrond looked up abruptly "Not likely...and how would one approach such
a
subject hmm? Am I to take her hand on our bonding night and just
say..."Oh, by the by, I prefer males and wish to have a lover because
after all, as I mate with you, I will be keeping my eyes closed so that
I may imagine that I am with an elon...welcome to Rivendel"...Face it
Erestor, I am to enter into Another loveless bonding"

Elladan blinked in shock and furrowed his brow as he whispered "Adar
prefers males?"

Elrohir looked to the ground and sadly shook his head "Poor adar...all
this time? How unfair"

The next morning, Erestor answered his door, then frowned as Glorfindel
just walked right in and headed for the bedroom. Erestor leapt into the
archway and braced himself "Nay! You...you are Not permitted!"

Glorfindel set the large satchel he was carrying down, arched his brow,
then grabbed the adviser under the arms and lifted him out of the way.

Erestor released an exasperated huff as he was gently placed aside
"Excuse me my lord but...hey! Come back here!"

The seneschal walked over to one of the windows and Erestor was swiftly
by his side "My lord! Get out of my bedroom!"

The golden warrior turned and smiled "I will be done shortly, calm
yourself my lovely, you are far to stressed"

Erestor blinked in shock as he tilted his head "Wh...what did you just
call me?"

Glorfindel pulled something from the satchel, then pounded it into the
advisors window with a soft mallet "I called you lovely"

Erestor stood there dumfounded, then glanced over to the odd object
that was in his window "My lord wh...what is..."

The seneschal smiled kindly and walked to another window "Back in
Gondolin, they used to place these in the windows and doors to keep the
smaller wildlife from the kitchens...I noticed that here in Rivendel,
you surround your vegetable gardens with it to keep out the rabbits and
such. I had the smith make the holes smaller and mount it to a frame"

Glorfindel placed the last two mesh frames into the long panels of the
balcony doors, then turned, slowly walked over to the stunned advisor
and caressed his cheek with the back of his hand "Now you will be able
to open your room to the fresh air and sun...and not have to worry
about any butterflies entering. I have more being made for your other
rooms and your study"

Erestor tilted his head and whispered "Wh...why would you do this for
me"

The golden warrior smiled, pulled the trembling advisor close, gently
wrapped his arms around him and placed there lips together. Erestors
eyes widened in shock, then slowly closed as he melted into the great
slayers arms, surrendered to the kiss, then panted heavily as he was
released and whispered "We...we should...err...definitely...uhm...go
and...get to uh...what...what was I saying?"

Glorfindel chuckled at the shy toungetied advisor and took his hand "I
believe you were about to mention morning meal. Tul my lovely, we shall
eat, and then go to the smith to see if the other mesh frames are ready"
