Fun with the LOTR
She wasn't sure how it happened but Lij and Casey became firm friends again or they seem to be, he'd come round every day and help her do something in the house or he would take her to his place to see the lads being Viggo and Orli, Viggo had a rather messy divorce and needed somewhere to live, so he moved in with Lij, it was easier for him, not to far for his agent to visit, or for him to go to work at hollywood films. He was doing a film at the moment, so he wasn't around much.
Orli? he just needed a place to crash every now and then, mainly when he had work at Hollywood or he needed to geay fay from it all.
The crowd was going to be here today, plus they invited some of the old LOTR lot over, sort of like a reunion.
Casey hadn't seen the rest of them since that night at the hotel, Lij kept them up to date with what had happened, how he managed to convince her to tell the police after she lost the baby two days after the rape and how she went through hell to recover from it all. It all seemed like a lifetime ago now thanks to the help from these guys and Annie was always there to help her when she needed someone, despite it was only six months ago.
Lij turned up, he had Annie in the car with him,
"I feel like driving my rover," Casey said. They both smiled, "What?" she said.
"Its been a long time since you've done any driving." Annie said.
"Wrong, I went out last night for a drive, I remembered how much I love driving, I even started up Old Bill this morning, I think I'll take it for a drive tomorrow."
"Drive it today." Lij said "there's pleny of room at my place, and it would make great decor for the bar-b-que."
"You are kidding, it wouldn't even come off of cold to get to yours. It needs a run."
Well let's go for a run, no-one's coming round for at least another 3 hours"
"What about getting the stuff over?"
"Annie can take it in the car." Casey handed her the rover keys. "You even scratch that car and I'll have your guts for garters. Do you here me?"
"I'll look after it I promise."
"I know you will, I trust you with my life, that's why I'm letting you use it today." Annie gave Casey a hug.
They went to the barn, there it was, still proud and ready for action, they drove.
'God I love this truck!' Casey thought
"I know you do," Elijah said.
'Damn I must stop doing that, saying things in my head but saying them out loud at the same time without realising it. I've been caught out to many times in the past like that.'
"If old Bill comes first in your life of love, is there any room there for me? " he asked.
She looked at him, so he still loves me, even after all this time.
"Is that why you never got together with anyone else?" Casey asked.
"I never even thought about anyone else, let alone go with anyone else."
Nothing else was said, they just drove and listened to music, they stopped at a truckstop,
"I need a drink and so does Old Bill, I'll put something on for you and I want you to listen to the words while I'm filling up." The song was 'have you told him love you forever' by Robson and Green.
When she climbed back in the truck, Casey looked at him.
"You know all about me and Viggo then?" he said.
"Yes I know," Casey replied softly.
"What do you think about it?"
"It doesn't worry me in the least, in fact I think it's good, you seem kind of...suited." she finished.
"I needed someone to help me help you and he knew all about it, and it sort of blossomed from there."
"I didn't realise he was gay, or you as a matter of fact, but hey, I'm cool about it, I don't think any less of either of you because of it. I love you both,"
With that he smiled, and Casey saw a look in his eyes that she haven't seen for a long time, it gave her shivers and something was released, a feeling she hadn't had for a long time, she felt turned on, she felt ready at last to get on with her life, to have fun again. She started to plan in her head and it involved Lij and Viggo.
