4 you've got it

Chapter four You’ve got it.

“Elladan! Elrohir! Wait up!”

The twins stopped running and turned, frowning when they saw Legolas speeding towards them. The blond grins. “I grew up here. I know all the shortcuts.”

He cocks his head and smiles at them. “Do you know what our meetings are about?”
Elladan nodded his head. “Aye. Our common future. Glorfindel thinks we will settle in Ithilien.”
Elrohir nodded. “Aye. And no offence, but we wouldn’t like it there.”
Elladan nodded. “Imladris is home. It’ll always be.” They looked at each other, already knowing they’d never leave it permanently and that this mng’sng’s result would decide their choice.
Legolas read it in their eyes. “Erestor will never leave it either.”

He closed his eyes in sadness. “I thought he knew, but he didn’t. I disrupted their friendship. His and Elrond’s.”
Elladan shook his head and placed a comforting hand on Legolas’ shoulder. “Ata and Erestor go back a long way, Legolas. I know they knew each other in Lindon, but they both refuse to talk about it.”
Elrohir frowned. “Do you think it’s why Erestor…” His eyes darted towards Legolas, who wondered about that movement.
Elladan shrugged. “Possible, Ro. I really don’t know. There’s a whole world behind what he allows us to see; a whole world we don’t know.” He sighed. “And somehow I fear it’s a world of pain.”

Legolas blinked and smiled sadly. “Maybe you two can convince Elrond to remain? I know father would rather stay here, but he can’t so he will go where the majority goes.”
Elladan sighed. “Which will be Ithilien.”
Legolas shook his head. “Nay! I have yet to talk to Meleor, but I want to move to Imladris. And I know Celeborn does too.”
Elladan suddenly smiled. “That makes two out of four.” He grinned. “You try talking your father into this and we’ll work on ours.”

Legolas nodded and left, but stopped after a few paces. “Elladan?” He waited for the twin to come to him and smiled. “Do you perhaps know if Erestor is in any relationship?”
Elladan cocked his head. “Interested?”
Legolas shook his head. “Nay. I just know of someone who is. And I want to know whether I should let it blossom or not.”
Elladan looked at him bead ead nothing but sincerity and sighed. For a minute he had hoped things were looking up. He smiled sadly. “It’s difficult, Legolas.”
Legolas cocked his head. “Difficult? How can it be difficult? Either he is in a relationship or he isn’t.”

Elladan sighed, realising he had to explain. “Can we sit down?” Legolas nodded and just plunged down on the soil. Elladan followed suit, a little more gracefully. He grinned. “You know, Legolas, sometimes your breeding doesn’t show at all.”
Legolas shrugged. “Don’t care. You were saying?”

Elladan closed his eyes, trying to find the right words, to find a way to tell Legolas without braking his vow to Erestor. Eventually he looked up. “He is not in a relationship, but he isn’t available.”
Legolas frowned and shook his head, not understanding this.
Elladan sighed. “You see, Erestor offered his life force to save the life of another. He can never bind to someone for as long as they both shall life.”
Legolas’ eyes widened in horror. “But… but… who? I mean, who can be so cruel to abandon him after such a honourable act?” Seeing Elladan’s confusion added to his own. “Elladan?” His voice was pitched in fear, afraid as he was to learn more.
Elladan shrugged. “He never told the other.”
Legolas gasped and shook his head, disbelief shining from his eyes. He opened his mouth a few t, bu, but remained silent. He blinked several times but eventually resumed his posture. He looked at Elladan, disbelief still marring his features. “But how could you let that happen? Or Elrond? Or didn’t you know?”
Elladan shook his head and his eyes were sad. “We did. Erestor forbade us to ever speak about it, which is why I can’t give you any names, Legolas, he would skin me alive.”
Legolas nodded, but he still shook his head in disbelief. “But why? I don’t understand.” Silence now came over them.
ddenddenly his eyes lit up. “He must have been greatly in love to do that. Maybe we can help and match him?” His voice was hopeful but all hope shattered when the twin shook his head. “Nay, there was no love from his side, Legolas.”
He bit his lips as he suddenly realised something important. “I don’t think he believes in love.” He doubted his own thoughts, but hearing it he realised it was true. He nodded. “Aye, I am sure he doesn’t. It made him act like that: he doesn’t believe he’ll ever have a lover because he doesn’t believe in love. Therefore he could do it.” He nodded. “And telling the other would have meant a certain bond, a wedding so to speak, and he wants that least of all.”

He hugged Legolas and beamed madly. “That’s it. That must be it! It explains his celibacy throughout the millennia. ”
Legolas cocked his head. “But why would he think that in the first place?”
Elladan shrugged. “I don’t know. I am sure ata might know, but I also know he would never tell me or Ro.”
Legolas rubbed the brink of his nose. “I can investigate. Meleor is an ancient elf. There are none that know but he’s been a member of Gil-Galad’s household. He might have known Erestor or at the very least he might know something from hearsay. And why don’t we ask Aragorn to ask your father? He’s the only one capable of driving Elrond insane.”
Elladan grinned. “All right, but if I ask he’ll suspect a prank.”
Legolas jumped up. “Then I’ll ask him. And you two have to console Erestor. Make sure he knows he won’t be going home alone, no matter the outcome.”
Elladan nodded and stood, turning to join his twin.

Elrond sighed as another book proved fruitless. He wanted to find a way to help Erestor and Legolas, but these large volumes proved helpless to him.

He looked up when the door opened and revealed a Galadhrim. He smiled. “Orophin, what brings you to the library?”
Orophin smiled back just as warmly. “They said you had practically locked yourself in here, my lord Elrond, and I find it disturbing.”
Elrond smiled at the kind words. “I’m merely trying to find an answer for an illness I know nothing about.”
Orophin continued smiling, though his eyes belayed his sympathy. “Surely it cannot be in here. Maybe in Gondor, but here?”
Elrond stood and laughed. “You are right, but I had to try.” He cocked his head form one side to the other, trying to relieve the pain in his neck. “I’ve just called it an end.”
Orophin nodded. “Then perhaps you could accompany me on a walk?”
Elrond’s eyes widened. No one has ever asked him that before, but he shrugged. “That sounds nice, Orophin.” He pointed to the other’s weapons. “Are you expecting trouble?”
Orophin shook his head. “Nay, but one never knows. And I’ve never been here before.”
Elrond smiled. “Then follow me.”

He silently led the way outside and to the trees. He kept his gaze forward though he kindly answered all of Orophin’s questions, appreciating the fact he gave extreme efforts to make conversation. Unknown to the lord were the Galadhrim’s brothers, who were following them high above in the trees, straining their hearing to catch the words and noticing every move Elrond made.

Glorfindel smiled sadly as he walked through the building.

It was evening and he feared spending it alone. He hadn’t slept the last three nights and he needed to sleep tonight, but there was no one to share his bed. If it hadn’t been Mirkwood he could have taken just anyone to his bed, if they didn’t want to they always told him so, but he didn’t dare risk Thranduil’s wrath.

He smiled when he saw a hidden pool. He would be able to relax there, he hoped. If not he would just bath the entire night. He made sure to fold his clothes above his weapons and in such a way he could easily grab them if necessary.

At some point he thought he heard some noises but as he heard no gasp or other noises indicating shock he figured it had been the wind. He had noticed earlier on that the corridors were drafty.

Haldir and Rumil jumped out the trees the moment Elrond had entered the house. They hugged their brother.

Haldir’s eyes were twinkling. “You are too slow.”
Rumil nodded. “Aye. No compliments or nothing.”
Orophin rolled his eyes. “With both my brothers above me, how can I?”
Rumil grinned. “Well, next time, which if I heard correctly is tomorrow morn already, don’t try to court him.” He grinned at Orophin’s pained and rejected expression and smiled encouragingly. “Go for seduction instead.”
Haldir nodded. “Aye. He’s sexually frustrated, so that won’t be a problem. And if you show you offer more than one time, he’ll take you up on your offer.” He sighed, saddened. “You might want to show him her letter, toron. In case you need to explain. One never knows with these Peredhil.”

Together they walked inside.

Thranduil frowned when Legolas determinedly strode in. “Ion-nîn?”
Legolas grinned and hugged him. “I’m fine, adar.” He rested his head against his chest. “What do you think will happen to us all?”
Thranduil embraced his son and caressed his hair in a soothing manner. He sighed. “I know not. Elrond and Arwen want Ithilien, I am sure. But Celeborn would rather go elsewhere.”
Legolas nodded. “Imladris.” He looked up. “And I’d rather go there too.” He smiled at his father’s dumbfound expression. “If I have to choose, and I must, I want Imladris. It is beautiful. Faramir and Aragorn can look after Ithilien for us, and their children after them. We could make it our vacation spot. And maybe some elves can even stay there.”
Thranduil thought for a moment and then nodded. “Aye, it is sound and wise. I must say I could not come up with a better solution myself. If Elrond truly desires to leave he can rule Ithilien in your stead and the twins and Celeborn can rule Imladris.”
Legolas widened his eyes. “And you?”
Thranduil shrugged. “I shall stay where I’ll be the most needed, most likely Ithilien, and offer council.” He shrugged. “Nothing is decided yet. Let’s await their decisions before making our own.”
Legolas nodded and left, shivering. He felt another cold coming up. Thranduil watched him go with a heavy heart. /What aren’t you telling me?/

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Once Legolas was well out of sight Thranduil sighed and started his walk through the palace, making sure everything was fit for the night. Though it was no longer necessary he did it anyway, liking the exercise it gave him. He softly whistled an ancient song.
Suddenly his ears picked up the sound of water and he frowned. /Who would dare enter her bath?/ He quickly approached and his eyes widened when he saw a male bathing relaxed and luxuriously in her wife’s old bath.
Looking around he recognized the Imladrian markings on the discarded clothes and he looked at the elf a little more intently. He shook his head when he realised it was Glorfindel. /And he’s alone. How does he intend to fill his bed tonight? But then again he hasn’t done so since his arrival./
With everything he knew about the balrog slayer he felt no more need for prudence and stepped forward and leaned against the wall, right next to the door opening, one foot propped up. His arms were crossed before his body and he simply looked at the bathing elf.
He licked his lips and cocked his head a little. The elf was extremely beautiful. /The tales don’t do him justice at all./ He smiled, wondering how long it would take Glorfindel to notice him and how he’d react when he did. So far the elegant arched back was towards him as the blond continued bathing.
He smiled when the blond dove backwards and his eyes noticed him and widened accordingly.
The shock made Glorfindel open his mouth and he came up instantly, couching out the water. He looked at the door, needing to make sure he had seen correctly. And indeed, there, casually leaning against the wall, stood Thranduil, watching him. The posture of the king didn’t change into guilt and only mirth and amusement shone from the bright green orbs.
Glorfindel cocked his head to get the water out of his ears and then looked at the king. /Well, he doesn’t look mad./ But he couldn’t be sure. Maybe the king was just deciding how to punish him. His trepidation was visible in his eyes, though his posture didn’t show.
Thranduil smiled. “This was my wife’s pool.” He saw the blue orbs widen in shock and sadness, which he knew was there on his behalf. He didn’t move a muscle. “Do not stop your activities on my account, Glorfindel.”
The blond cocked his head. “I’m not in the habit of giving a show.” Herowerowed his eyes when the king only raised his eyebrows and Glorfindel figured it indicated his amusement and lack of desire to state the obvious.
They were both aware he wresprespassing, in a way, and that this was Thranduil’s realm and house. He couldn’t tell him to leave and he felt too embarrassed to ask him to do so. He should have realised there was something wrong, otherwise this pool would have been used.
Thranduil wondered about the seneschal. He had no idea what went on in that mind at the moment. He knew it could not be any seduction attempts, though he wasn’t so sure if his status would prevent it in any other realm, it would here. That, and his reputation. He didn’t move or speak and simply waited for Glorfindel’s next move.
The blond quickly went over his options and decided he could better leave, after apologizing. He realised that m exp exposing himself to those prying green eyes since his clothes were practically at Thranduil’s feet.
He started wading closer. “Forgive me, I was unaware it’s a family pool.”
Thranduil smiled. “I know.” Involuntarily his eyes settled on Glorfindel’s lower regions as the waterline came lower and lower. He liked what he saw and, keeping the tales in mind, made a decision. Tonight would be the first, and probably only night since his wife left that he would not spend alone. And he didn’t feel like betraying her memory by bedding Glorfindel. He knew the other took a new l pra practically on a daily base. And why.
In one fluid motion he came forward and kicked Glorfindel’s clothes further back. He smiled warmly when Glorfindel widened his eyes in shock, surprise and disbelief. He cocked his head when he saw the fear behind it. He looked down once more and then into the blond’s eyes. “I see you’re all alone tonight.”
Glorfindel swallowed. Were his activities known beyond Imladris? Thranduil saw his question in the blue eyes and laughed, nodding. “Aye, they are.” He cocked his head. “And yet you did not bed any since your arrival. Or I would have known.”
Again Glorfindealloallowed and he nodded. He desperately wanted to get to his clothes, but with Thranduil standing before them it was pretty impossible. And he couldn’t wade back either, feeling it impolite now that he knew this was a family pool where he had no right to be.
His eyes widened beyond believe when he saw Thranduil slowly undress. He found himself unable to look away and grant the king some privacy; his eyes were glued to the body standing before and a little bit above him, just five steps.
The bare chest that was revealed made him pant a little harder. No matter how many tales he’s heard about the king’s hidden beauty, he found they did not compare to the truth. When Thranduil removed his boots it was the most sexual sight Glorfindel had ever seen and he could just barely contain a pleased moan.
Thranduil carefully monitored the blond and inwardly smiled at his success. When his breeches were gone he waited a moment before moving, smiling at the blond, whose eyes were fixed on him.
In a daze Glorfindel saw the body before him come closer.
“I believe you need to cool down.” Glorfindel was puzzled at hearing that honeyed voice so close and looked bewildered at the words.
Thranduil laughed and suddenly grabbed his member. Only now did Glorfindel realise he was achingly hard. He couldn’t help but blush and once again Thranduil’s laugh caressed his skin.
Thranduil waded to the other end of the pool, gently pulling Glorfindel along at the wrist, who followed like an obedient child.
Feeling the cold water come higher and higher did him some good and he shook his head to rid him of the spell he was under. He stared at Thranduil and back over his shoulder to his clothes. He hadn’t even noticed they had waded all the way back. He didn’t understand.
“What?”
Thranduil shook his head. “I take it you’re not used to being offered a night of passion?” He had his head cocked and studied the blond, who looked startled at the question.
Glorfindel blinked several times, the shock enough to face his arousal, though the image was highly warming to him. “You… you’re offering me your body?” His couldn’t believe it. It was probably a trick, a punishment of some sort.
Thranduil nodded, his eyes sincere. “Aye, though I will take you as well.”
Seeing Glorfindel completely stunned to motionlessness he sighed, realising he either had to explain himself or do everything himself.
Shrugging he pulled the blond closer and claimed his mouth in a brutal and demanding kiss. It was easy to steer the blond to stand against the wall.
He smiled, feeling Glorfindel harden and before it could change he placed his hands on Glorfindel’s shoulder’s and used his hold to lift himself high enough.
Glorfindel blinked a few more times but then snapped out of it and embraced the body before him, pulling those lips close for another kiss. It fuelled him and put him on fire like no kiss ever had. Feeling Thranduil lower himself to be impaled by him he gasped in surprise. He’d not expected that.
Thranduil broke the kiss and hissed at him. “I am king here and I am doing all the work?” Seeing the blond redden he leaned in to kiss a cheek and lick it.
Glorfindel understood and lowered his arms, letting Thranduil fall back and lean against them. The water made him pretty weightless and Glorfindel pulled his hands downwards until his had a grip on the waist.
Thranduil leaned back and his upper body floated on the water.
Once he was sure the other was safe from drowning Glorfindel started moving, aiming his thrusts for Thranduil’s hidden gland. He knew he had hit target instantly when the blond moaned deliriously.
They created waves as they sped up their thrusts, working towards shattering orgasms.
Glorfindel was surprised at how beautiful the body before him looked. /Ancient. Magical./ “Why?”
The green orbs flew open and surprise lay in them. “Why what?” Thranduil managed to focus on the blond, though he was making it extremely hard on him.
“This.”
Thranduil screamed his pleasure again before he could answer him. Glorfindel could see the honesty from the orbs as he did. “Because we both need it, though for different reasons.” He panted and screamed again before he could continue. “Your relationship with Ecthelion left your body needy and used to the feel of another besides you at night. Yet you fear taking a permanent lover because you fear you’ll forget him.”
He placed a hand on Glorfindel’s cheek and smiled when the blond leaned into it. “I understand your pain and needs, Glorfindel.”
Even though he was still moving this caress and the words seemed to create a silent world for Glorfindel, a world iich ich he could see only Thranduil’s face.
Suddenly Thranduil threw back his head and screamed, reaching orgasm.
Feeling the muscles contract around him Glorfindel came as well and had to force himself not to collapse on his lover but to pull the other towards himself this time.
Thranduil leaned against him heavily, needing to catch his breath.
Glorfindel rested his head on Thranduil’s shoulder and smiled gratefully. “Thank you.”
Thranduil smiled and pulled back. “Not needed. You pay me back, remember.” He leaned in and kissed the lips gently. “You’ll enjoy it. Let go for once
H
He started walking backwards, once again gently forcing the blond to follow his lead.
Glorfindel frowned at it.
Thranduil smiled. “I don’t know about you but I have no desire to fall asleep there.”
This made Glorfindel understand and he stepped up beside him. “Where then?”
Thranduil guided them out the pool and grabbed his robes. “Right here.”
Again he claimed Glorfindel’s lips while he gently pressured the elf to lay down on his inner clothes: breeches, tunic and robe. He belatedly realised he would only be able to wear his outer robe later on, but didn’t care about that now.
He could feel the tension in the body beneath him and sighed, realising he couldn’t maintain the eye contact. “Turn to your side, it will be…” He stopped when he heard Glorfindel’s pearl laughter. “I am not a virgin! The pain will lessen.”
Thranduil nodded and smiled. “Good, I would have hated not seeing your eyes.”
Glorfindel frowned. “You were the one with the closed eyes just now.”
Thranduil grinned. “Not much use keeping them open when all you see is the ceiling.” He smiled and started kissing the body beneath him, making Glorfindel writhe in need.
Glorfindel gasped as he felt the tongue and lips tease him continuously. They never dwelled on a certain spot for too long, but long enough to make it hum; his body was singing to the other’s touch.
He frowned when he felt the beautiful hands gently turn him over. He wanted to ask why but those talented lips and tongue worked their way up his legs and before long his body was covered beneath the other as Thranduil licked his neck.
It was abandoned all too soon and his left arm was treated to the same procedure as his right where Thranduil had started his mapping.
Again the hands asked him turn around and he moaned in bliss when lips met his own, engaging them in a slow and heating kiss.
His own hands moved to Thranduil’s lower body and the king laughed in his mouth, creating a whole new sensation for Glorfindel. Never before had anyone done that, not even Ecthelion.
Thranduil broke the kiss and looked at him with mirth. “That eager?”
Before Glorfindel could answer Thranduil had moved down and was now teasing his ball sacks, making up for ignoring them before.
“Ai, saes… vahwályëat nyë… haryát nin… saes…” He realised he was begging for the first time in his life.
Thranduil shook his head, making his hair caress the blond’s abdomen, forcing a buck from the body. “Ván carë tyavë ten.”
He ignored the pleas and took his time. He went back up and claimed another kiss, he would have mercy on him soon. Suddenly he realised he had nothing to ease his way and he growled angrily, resting his head on Glorfindel’s shoulder.
The blond sensed the agitation and placed his hand on the other’s back, rubbing soothing circles, a movement that caused Thranduil to smile against his flesh. “We have no oil.”
Glorfindel nodded, understanding, but shrugged. “Easily remedied.” He moved his hand between their bodies and aligned their arousals. Bucking once he felt them both leaking and then he proceeded to rub it on Thranduil’s member. He grinned at the pleased moans coming from the other’s mouth.
He let go and licked a delicate ear. “Done.” He looked at the eyes. “Saes haryuvat nin sí?”
Thranduil smiled and nodded, claiming another kiss. He felt he could never get enough of those lips. Glorfindel tasted extremely good, but he knew, and understood, he could never have it again, which made him even more intent on having as much as he could now.
He looked at Glorfindel, wondering if the blond would prefer one fast, swift motion or a slow and careful one.
Seeing the question Glorfindel broke the kiss. “Ellë turië.”
Thranduil nodded and moaneen Gen Glorfindel claimed his lips again.
Glorfindel gasped when Thranduil suddenly entered him in one fast stroke. The pain was so sudden and intense he didn’t feel his pleasure spot. /Or maybe he didn’t hit it?/
Seeing the pain in the blue orbs Thranduil stilled all movement, allowing Glorfindel to become used to the intrusive feeling. /Wrong choice./ He made up for it by deepening the kiss and giving more effort to caress the body with his hands.
Glorfindel lost himself in the kiss and when the pain subsided he nodded.
Thranduil carefully pulled out and thrust again, aiming differently, hoping to hit his prostate this time.
Glorfindel closed his eyes as only pain sliced through him again. He yelped when Thranduil broke the kiss and lifted his body. Being suspended in the air he felt completely at the other’s mercy and he would have enjoyed it hadn’t been for the pain. Without the kiss to focus on the pain only grew and he closed his eyes.
But they widened in disbelief and pleasuren Thn Thranduil’s next thrust instantly hit his pleasure spot and stars erupted within him. With each trust the pain subsided and gave way to pleasure.
A few more and Thranduil felt Glorfindel pushing back and he smiled. He had been afraid he had been paining him, but he couldn’t have pulled out if his life had depended on it. He didn’t last much longer and came hard within the Glorfindel. He collapsed on the other, and bit his neck, marking him above the collar. He smiled to himself. That would show for days.
Glorfindel bucked once more, trying to create friction to make him come.
Suddenly Thranduil sat up, looking apologetically and instantly crept lower.
Before Glorfindel knew what was happening he felt Thranduil take him in his mouth and that alone was enough to make him come.
Thranduil drank greedily, ng tng the taste of Glorfindel. He licked him completely clean and moved back up.
He yawned and frowned at Glorfindel’s laugh.
The blond shook his head. “You’re yawning?” He smiled. “Yer ell ellë nin.”
Thranduil grinned and settled down beside the blond, his eyes already empty with sleep.
Glorfindel smiled as the arms tightened around him in silent promise to hold him through the night. /The Valar help me, but this was the best./ He held Thranduil and watched him a while before sleep claimed him as well.
