Author Notes: 1) This is the sequel to Adventures of Arwen Undomiel:
Baby-sitting Woes. 2) Celebrian has recently sailed. Arwen is 4 and
the twins are 16.

When we last left the elflings: Arwen was putting her dolly to bed;
Elladan suggested shooting the side of the stables *giggles*

----------------------------

Elrohir thought for a moment. "Wait...I found this parchment and
figured we could try to shoot it. here let me hang this from a
branch." "What kind of parchment?" Elladan asked as his twin hung
it. It was a picture of Middle-earth showing the Two Trees and what
the land looked like back in the First Age. "Hey, that's a nice
drawing. Are we sure we want to use that? My backside is already sore
enough"

"Elladan, you're an Elf...your backside should've already
healed....what have YOU been doing?" he asked with a smirk and raised
eyebrow. Elldan scowled. "Ada was very---displeased with me! I got
two spankings!" Elrohir's eyes went wide, "really? then maybe you
shouldn't shoot this...but I am."

"Why? Who would spank us?" "well, I heard someone say once about why
ada always comes back looking sore." Elladan nearly fell
over. "Somebody spanks ADA?" Roh nods and said, "well, why do you
think ada always comes here? when mother was alive ada never went
there unless there was a reason." "That seems.... wrong! WHy would
ada get spanked? Why would he LET someone spank him?" Elladan felt
entirely confused

"when ada left to come here...I had the chance to go into his
chamber." Elladan nodded, intrigued. "Go on!" "well, I found out that
ada's parents left Middle-earth at the end of the First Age...his
brother, our Uncle Elros...became a Mortal." "Why would he do that?"
Elladan asked. "And what does that have to do with ada getting
spanked?"

"well, before ada's parents made the choice whether to be immortal or
mortal...ada chose Elven-kind...but Uncle Elros chose Mortal-kind. it
said that ada was so upset over that, he would have temper tantrums
and when he met our mother he came here and Celeborn disciplined him."

Elldan's jaw dropped. "But then why did he stop coming so often?
DId... nana couldn't have spanked him! Could she?" Roh rolled his
eyes at his twin. "no, she 't 't spank him...he stopped coming to
Lorien when he married mother." "So he was better? because nana
calmed him, or something? and now that she's gone, he's not?"

"because of mother...it changed him...he was a great Lord. and
because she left Middle-earth he's coming here...what for...it
doesn't say. it ends right after all 3 of us are born and mother left
Middle-earth." Elladan was shocked. "No wonder he's been so...
irritable." THen he smirked. "I bet GLorfy would spank
!" !" "Yea...it doesn't mention if Glorfy does...but we mustn't say
anything about this." Roh smiled. "oooh, right, so true."

"we'd better keep this hush hush indeed. ada would be very angry if
he found out El" elladan said "I know. and being I'm the one that
snuck into his chamber when I was forbidden to do so." "That was
VERY stupid Elrohir, I must say. THe only one allowed in there
without permission is Arwen, because of all her nightmares, running
in there at night. Or to one of us. And she can't read, so there's no
danger"

"I know that. I was just curious."

"Well really, even *I* wouldn't have done that"

"well, of course not, Elladan...you are ada's pet...you're too good
for that." "Hey, neither of us has ever been Ada's pet, so I resent
that" he playfully punched Elrohir's arms "oh really? there have been
many times, Elladan that ada has 'seen' you do something but he
shrugs it off." "And the same could apply to you in certain
circumstances!"

Just then Elrohir says, "did you hear something?" Elladan listened
carefully "no, i don't think so" "i thought i heard a sound." "No,
your just touched in the head"

Roh got off his horse and listened and then heard the sound again
Elladan got off as well. "Tis a rabbit you idiot!" "well, fine if it
IS a rabbit then it won't be hard to catch." he started to go near
the sound Elladan rolled his eyes. "Come on, you know Arwen will
scream if she sees us bring back a rabbit!" "so what!" he ed aed a
knife and charged at it.....

Only to be pushed on the ground by Haldir. Elladan quirked an
eyebrow. "Ok--so it *wasn't* a rabbit" "ya think." Elrohir snapped at
Elladan. "Shut up orc!" "i'm NOT an orc! you Fell Beast!"

Elladan pushed Elrohir hard. "Shut up! You are an idiot!" Elrohir got
up and charged at Elladan. Elladan moved out of the way and Roh fell
to the ground. he got back up and charged at Elladan again. He and
Roh fell to the ground, rolling and throwing punches.

As they were fighting Haldir yelled, "Tampa tanya!" (stop that) they
ignored him, and ended up tripping him as well in their course of
fighting and rolling and cursing. he got fed up and lifted them both
up like rag dolls and pried them apart, "Both of you STOP that!"

The twins cringed as Haldir shook them in his strong grasp. "Sorry?"
Elladan offered, though it seemed like more of a question then
anything else. "I am very disappointed in the both of you." "Haldir,
not to be rude, but we don't answer to you," Elrohir retorted

"I am the Marchwarden of Lothlorien!!! You will answer to me or
else." "We are the Princes of Lorien! You shall answer to us or
ELSE!" they spouted in unison Haldir wasn't laughing. he started to
drag them over to the horses and said, "If you aren't going to tell
me why you 2 are fighting then I'll have to tell the Lady and Lord
what I heard."

"We were aruging" "and it escolated" they answered simulataneously.
he stopped and stood them in front of him, "Why on earth would you go
into your ada's chamber and sneak around, Elrohir?" Elladan
snickered "Why were you listening anyway?" he snapped at Haldir.

Elladan shook his head. "Elrohir, be wise, shut up!"

"you shut up!"

"Roh, Dolle naa lost" (ur head is empty)

"Auta miqula orqu!" (go kiss an orc)

Elladan slugged Elrohir again. Elrohir fell to the ground and touched
his face to see blood coming from his mouth. "Elladan!" Elladan
smirked. "He deserved it! He keeps telling me to kiss an orc or that
I am ada's pet!"

Haldir helped Elrohir up and said, "If both of you don't wise up
now...my hand will have a talking to with your backsides." Elladan
covered his bottom with his hands, like a small elfing, "No please!!
Don't!!!" he pointed a finger at Elladan, "B E H A V E!" then he
looked at Elrohir and said, "You also, B E H A V E!"

"Is something wrong, Elladan?" Elldan blushed bright red, and refused
to say anything, shuffling under the marchwarden's look. He had a
feeling why Elladan looked the way he did, "have you been spanked
recently?" Elladan nodded sheepishly, and Elorhir smirked. "Twice!"
Roh shouted haughtily. "I see."

Elldan scowled at Roh, then looked at his feet again, sitll holding
is backside. "Even though you may have a sore backside...I would
watch how I say and do things, Elladan." then Haldir waved a
parchment in front of their faces and said, "and who was the one that
took this from Lord Celeborns' chamber?" Elladan cringed, not wanting
to give away his twin, yet not wanting to get in trouible himself

Haldir waited and when no answer from either of them came he
said, "Ok...well, I guess the Lady and Lord will be told and your ada
will be furious when he finds out." Elladan groaned. The last thing
he wanted was Elrond furious at him again. He had had plenty of that
last night! Elrohir hung his head and said, "I did it."

"Elrohir, will you never learn." "Are you going to tell the Lord
and Lady that we were fighting?" Elladan asked. "I don't know...I'm
deciding."

"Maybe not this time...but if it happens again...they WILL know."
Elladan looked relieved, then remembered the threat of Haldir
spanking them! "And you aren't... are you?" "Not this time." he
glared at them. "Thank you! Can I go?" he was more then happy to let
Elrohir deal with irate adults on his own! "You may." then he looked
at Elrohir, "but I want you to stay."

Elladan ran off, and Elrohir groaned.....
