CH 5. The argument

Legolas asked, “You are so captivated by the aroma?”

Chrissy replied, “Yes I do love the smell, it relaxes me.”

Legolas asked, “I have wanted to share thus from thee moment we encountered our first meeting, I cannot get over how connected I feel towards you, Lady Chrissy?”

Staring into his gaze, Chrissy replied, “I know I’ve felt it too.”

Chrissy knew she could go anywhere with this Elf as his eyes met her own.

Legolas pulled the woman close to him and kissed her lips that tasted like sweet wine. She loved every minute of the attention that Legolas was showing her. She pulled away from the kiss and looked up at the dark sky.

Chrissy was consumed in her thoughts, when she spoke something that startled Legolas.

In a soft manner, Chrissy stated, “Cormamin Niuve tenna’ ta Elea lle au’.” (My heart shall weep until it sees thee again.)

Displeased, Legolas asked, “Where did you hear that statement?”

Snapping out of her thoughts as Chrissy said frightened, “I-I really don’t know.”

Chrissy knew exactly where that phrase had been heard. But she really did not want to tell Legolas. She got up and changed the subject quickly.

Franticly Chrissy pointed out, “Where is this dining hall, I am so hungry!”

Not let her off that easily, Legolas demanded at this point, “I order thee to tell me where you heard those very words?”
Legolas grabbed her by the arm forcefully. It frightened the young woman when he had grabbed her arm forcefully and raised his voice.

Gazed upon him with scared, tearful eyes, Chrissy replied, “I heard it in my dreams, Please quite man handling me.”
Chrissy said this as she tore out of his grip. Tears flooded her eyes as she ran out into the dark woods. Legolas felt really bad for scaring the poor girl.

Legolas ran after the woman because it was dangerous to be out there alone in the forest, spiders were out at night.
Chrissy heard Legolas yelling, “ Stop running, and Let’s speak about the issue at hand.”

Just then, one of the guards jumped down from the tree and stopped her from running any further. He grabbed the young woman by her wrists, he whe was very strong.

Chrissy screamed, “Let me go!” she demanded.

The guard pushed her up against the tree and was about to slap the woman when Legolas grab his hand.

Legolas said to the guard harshly, “Daro Tanya! (Stop that) Do not strike, Leave her be, I shall take care of it from thus point.”

Legolas was fuming from what his guard was about to do.

Chrissy stood there against the tree and was shaking. He just took her into his arms and comforted the young woman.

Thinking of all the events and Chrissy asked, “Why am I here? I just don’t understand.”

Replying as Legolas gazed upon her, “I do not know, Me lamin.”

Chrissy pulled away from Legolas as they sat down on a near by bench.

With honest, Chrissy spoke, “There is more to the dream then the things that came out of my mouth”, she added with a laugh.

“I did not mean to scare you by demanding where you heard thee statement.” Legolas said.

Legolas added, “The phrase you spoke of Larien spoke thus to me before she vanished.”

With curiosity, Chrissy said, “I wonder, if the reason why I here is because of her disappearance.”

Silence hit for a moment and said, “Before I arrived here, the evil wizard in my dreams, I saw him in the woods, he was chasing me. He said something to me that made my skin crawl.”

Legolas listened attentively for her to finish.

As Chrissy continued after a brief moment and started saying that the evil wizard had said, “Come here little one, I have found you!”

Smiling, Chrissy said, “In my dreams a beautiful angel appears every time he approaches. Its almost, as if, she is trying to protect me.”

Legolas gasped at what was said to him. All this time of searching for Larien, he was in disbelief. He knew of the Angel she spoke about because he saw the figure of the female that night. Legolas let her finish telling the about her dream.

With concern, Chrissy said, “Ever since you and I kissed, sometimes I am able to feel and speak your native tongue. I am so confused about you and being here, in middle earth.”

Legolas said, “I do not know why but we shall reveal what haunts your very mind.”

They both got up and started walking back to dinner.

Legolas said, “We will be late, my father, he is expecting us.”

Adding a little humor, Chrissy stated, “Its good to be late, it keeps everyone guessing.”

Legolas smiled at the strange humor and hurried back to dining hall.

When they arrived everyone was staring at the Prince and the woman that was incredibly beautiful on his arm.
Chrissy stared at Legolas for answers, “Why is everyone starring at us?”

Legolas smiled and replied in a low tone, “Because I have thee on my arm that is stunning and they are all jealous.” She giggled silently at the comment.

They finally arrived at the table where King Thranduil was sitting. He could not believe his Elf eyes as he thought they were cheating him. He saw the resemblance of Larien Anwamane right away.

King Thranduil would send word to Lord Elrond as soon as he could get back to the study. He would tell Lord Elrond the amazing sight he had seen before him and that Legolas would be bringing her along on the Journey.

Meanwhile, in Rivendell, Lord Elrond had felt a disturbance in the air. It was something that he had not felt in a long time. He felt his daughter, Larien, some where in Middle Earth. He could sense her and worried that he could not pick up her presences. Lord Elrond sat there consumed in his thoughts when Arwen came into his study.

Arwen asked, “Ada, Do you sense thy change in the winds?”

Lord Elrond replied, “Yes, Arwen, I sense it but I cannot locate where the presences is in Middle Earth.”

Arwen studied the face of he father that was trying so hard to find her sister and tried to help him.

Happily Arwen spoke, “I have seen her in dreams, Ada! She does not look like our kind, but she resembles Larien a great deal. She is being hidden from pondering eyes!”

Lord Elrond had a struggling look on his face, “I will find Larien and bring my daughter back home to Rivendell.”
