Chapter 5: To Rivendell (part two)

Uruviel was first to wake up and she looked at the both of them. She smiled when she saw that Aragorn was awake. She rose to her feet and looked at Aragorn and said, "Were you awake all night?" She shook her head when he nodded and said, "You shouldn’t have done that. You need your rest, too."

Aragorn chuckled and said, "I will get that when we have arrived in Rivendell safely. For now, I will keep watch over you." He stood up and packed all the stuff again and fastened it to the saddlebags. He looked at Uruviel and said, "Could you wake him?"

Uruviel nodded and said "Sure" She walked to Boromir and gently shook him. She chuckled when he murmured, "Yes, love, I am awake."

Aragorn laughed and thought /she doesn't seem to mind about what Boromir said. /

Boromir looked down in embarrassment when he saw that it was Uruviel waking him instead of Aragorn. He rose to his feet and mounted his horse.

Aragorn picked Uruviel up and placed her on his horse and then mounted behind her. They rode off again and talked about the Elven Kingdoms and about other part Mid Middle Earth. Uruviel told them about her land and what it looked like.

Aragorn listened to every word and said, "I never have heard of it, but it sounds like you came through some kind of portal, I think. You must miss you parents, huh?"

Uruviel nodded and said, "I do. I miss my dog, my mom and my closest friend." She sighed.

Aragorn looked at Boromir and then at her again and said "Elrond might be of help. He knows a lot."

Uruviel smiled and said, "ou tou think he might know a way for me to get back home again?"

Aragorn didn't answer for a few minutes. And then, he broke the silence and said, "Yes, he might find a way."

Uruviel heard the sudden change in his voice and thought /Did I say something wrong? I hope not it: wasn’t my intention/ She sighed and said, "Aragorn what's wrong? Why are you suddenly so different?"

Aragorn shook his head and said, "It's nothing. We are almost there." The three of them were silent there rest of the trip. When they arrived, Boromir helped Uruviel off the horse. Aragorn dismounted his horse and said, "Take her to Lord Elrond. He might be of help to her."

Boromir nodded and said, "Come Uruviel, you will get to see Lord Elrond.” He stopped when he noticed Uruviel hadn't followed him. He looked at her and saw she was looking at Aragorn, who was walking to the stables with the two horses. He stood behind her and asked, "What's wrong?"

Uruviel turned around and asked, "Have I done something wrong to him?" And then turned back to look at the stables again.

Boromir thought about it for a few moments and then answered, "He likes you. And he would miss you if you left. And that seems to bother him"

Uruviel felt guilty and said, "Ok, I am ready to see Lord Elrond." She was deep in her thoughts while she followed Boromir.

Boromir kept walking and saw Glorfindel and asked him where he could find Lord Elrond. When he got the information, he walked to the library. He knocked on the door and when he heard "Enter" he opened the door and said, "Lord Elrond, I have a stray visitor here you might find interesting."
He gently pushed her inside and stood behind her. He felt that she was shaking and bent a bit down and whispered into her ear, "Shhh, it's ok, he won’t do anything. He is kind, you'll see."

Elrond looked at her and said, "What's your name milady?"

Uruviel hesitated and said, "My name is Uruviel milord."

Elrond looked at her and said, "Come, follow me."

Uruviel hesitated and felt a gentle push in her back. She looked up and saw Boromir smiling down at her. She felt safe and did what Elrond asked and followed him. He sat down at a round table so that he was looking at her. She sat down in the opposite chair and looked to the middle of the table. A hand was placed under her chin and lifted her head so her eyes were locked with his.

Elrond looked at her and said, "I see something is wrong. Do you want to tell me? You are safe here in Imladris. And I will personally see to it that no harm will come to you."

Uruviel looked at him and tears slipped down her cheek and she looked away and said with a soft voice, "I am filthy and I want to go home."

Elrond stood up and sat down again beside her and said, "Come, look at me and tell me everything." He listened to every word she said and became angry when what he heard about Faramir. He took her into his arms and rocked her. He looked at Boromir and said, "Let a room be prepared for her next to that of mine."

Boromir nodded and did what was asked and then returned again and said, "Milord, the room is ready."

Elrond nodded and picked up the sleeping body in front of him and whispered, "I will take her to bed. Tell Aragorn to come to me." And with that they both left.

Elrond walked into the room and gently placed her on the bed and stayed with her.
