Haldir shook his head in shock and then slowly stood from the long chair and blinked "You...you mean you..."


Just then, the march warden was interrupted by the sound of a lock click, and both he and Thranduil turned to the door and saw Erintur slowly peep his head in. When he saw that they were both up, he cautiously entered "G...good morning Adar...warden Haldir"


When the crown prince drew closer, Haldir cringed and sucked in a light breath as Thranduil quickly grabbed his son by the ear, then twisted it and bit through his teeth "What is with you lately! You never used to make such poor decisions! First you cut your brother! And now you disrespect the march warden of the Golden Wood! Did you even realize that he was in only his sleep pants?! I should...I should...what should I do Erintur! You tell me!"


The crown prince whimpered and choked "Ahhah ow Ada...sssaes Ada let go"


Haldir walked over and looked at what the prince had dropped when the king grabbed him and arched his brow "My lord, he brought me my Greys...saes, he only brought me here to help, his heart was in the right place"


Thranduil sighed and released son, then turned to Haldir "Get dressed march warden, we will be expected at morning meal"

When Glorfindel and Mirduin entered the dinning hall, the seneschal noticed that there were no chairs and Elrond, Erestor, the Twins and Legolas were just standing about the table chatting "What, we are not aloud to sit?"


Glorfindel noticed his lords slightly worried glance at Erestor before it was returned to him with a smile "I just thought it would be nice if we all just mingled this morn"


The seneschal drew close and smiled "What a fine idea Elrond" Glorfindel then looked over at Erestor and tilted his head "And how are you this fine morning my old friend"


Erestor swallowed the grape he was chewing and nodded "I am well and you Findel?"


Glorfindel inwardly smirked and moved closer "I am wonderful!" then swiftly smacked Erestor on the backside.


Erestors knees buckled and he grabbed the edge of the table to keep himself from falling as he let out a high pitched yelp from the pain "Ahhhai Valar!"


Glorfindel arched his brow and chuckled "Ooo, I dare say you seem a tad sore, I apologize, that was rather..."


Elrond narrowed his eyes and stepped forward "Back away Findel before I make you sore as well"


The seneschal inclined his head and smiled "Protective are we?"


Elrond lightly smirked, then cleared his throat "Shut up Findel"


Elladan and Elrohir watched as there father gently rubbed there old tutors back and then blinked a moment later when Erestor tried to stand straight by placing his hand on Elronds shoulder "So...Roh you...you actually saw Erestor on his knees before Adar?" "Eww, do not remind me Ella...I have been trying to get that visual out of my head ever since" "They do look happy though don't they" "I know Ella and I am happy for them...but...but all I keep seeing is Erestor wipeing his mouth on his sleeve"


Everyone turned as Elladan broke into a fit of laughter. When he finally calmed a tad, he looked at his father and noticed the stern look and cleared his throat "Sorry Adar"


Elrond narrowed his eyes and then arched his brow "What is so funny?"


Before Elladan had a chance to think up an excuse, Erintur entered the room, followed by Thranduil and Haldir.


Glorfindel furrowed his brow as he looked at Haldir, then blinked and widened his eyes as he fell into some old memories and began to laugh loudly "Ha...Haldir, have you changed professions?"


The Lorien warrior frowned and Glorfindel smirked "It is just that I have not seen that style of braiding since Gondolin"


Haldir swallowed hard, he had totally forgotten about the king braiding his hair the night before.


Glorfindel tried to control his laughing and finally smiled "You are wareing the braids of a Gondolian courtesan!"


Haldir turned to the king "My lord you swore!"


Thranduil smiled and winked "I swore I would not braid you in the fashion of a mortal brothel worker...remember? There was no agreement on elven courtesans"


Haldir sighed, then shook his head and began to chuckle "Nai, I remember. Thank the Valar that my brothers are not here to see this...tho I believe Rumil would more then likely look quite fetching"


Elladan and Elrohir burst into laughter and the younger twin glanced at the prince "Ai! Rumil is almost as pretty as Legolas"


The prince narrowed his eyes at Elrohir and everyone laughed as they began to eat.
