Logan looked all around him in wonder. He's never been here before. At least, that he could remember. The waterfalls, the buildings... It all looked so surreal in its beauty. What was most beautiful about it was that it fit into nature, not destroyed it to takes its place.
Glorfindel and Logan made their way into the courtyard where the Lord of Imladris was greeting his travel-worn sons. They were entirely identical. They wore the same clothes, wore the same hair style, and both looked withdrawn, pale and unhealthy. When all turned to see the approaching pair, their eyes lit up in disbelief and joy.
Logan only had a moment before he was surrounded by warmth and his mouth was possessed. He gasped in surprise, which only served to cause the one in front of him to deepen the kiss. The moment was broken only so he could be turned around for the other to 'greet' him.
When they pulled back long enough to speak, Logan was dizzy with desire and confusion. Then he comprehended that they must believe him to be Legolas. At this realization, he pushed free of their loving hold.
"I'm not him," he gasped out. The twins froze. Logan took a deep breath and tried to suppress the sudden urge to take back what he said and comfort them. Shock reigned through the courtyard. Glorfindel broke it, "he speaks the truth. He does not know where he is, or who he is."
One of the twins stepped forward and took Logan by the shoulders. He looked deeply into his eyes for some form of recognition. Logan stared back, struggling with his emotions. He knew them but he couldn't remember. His mind was a complete blank. The twin's hands fell from his shoulders. He reached back for his twin's hand, and they turned and left the courtyard, unable to process the events that have just occurred.
Logan turned to Elrond and Glorfindel, "What just happened?"
"Perhaps it would be best if we were to speak inside," Lord Elrond replied.
They walked into the large, beautiful buildings, Glorfindel and Elrond leading the way. Logan couldn't believe his eyes. Everything was so incredible. The craftsmanship of each piece was detailed and delicate, yet seemed to be permanent. It was as if they have been strong enough to stand the test of time till now, and be able to last forever. He wondered why this place didn't seem old, such as the ruins of deserted cities from hundreds of years ago. Well, he's never been to those ruins, but he has watched some programs on TV.
They come upon double doors at the end of a corridor. Elrond grasped the elegant door knob and with a quick twist, granted them access to the room. Logan couldn't seem to grasp the concept of elven beauty and craftsmanship. Everything he saw was more incredible then the last. It took him a few moments to finally move forward to the chairs in front of a large fireplace.
"Come, have a seat. We do not have to speak much this day if you wish to rest." Lord Elrond spoke. Logan sat down on the edge of his seat. He felt stifled and terribly uncomfortable under the gazes of two imposing Elf Lords.
"Will you tell us what you remember?" The questioning begins.
