chapter 4
To all my wonderful readers and reviewers: Thank you for allowing me to share my Erestor and Glorfindel with you. I hope you enjoyed it! And thank you especially for all of your kind words. Now on to the end:
Chapter 4
Glorfindel woke, and gently brushed tangled dark hair out of Erestor’s face. He smiled down on his still sleeping love, and couldn’t resist placing a soft kiss on the full, red lips. Erestor murmured, and snuggled deeper into Glorfindel’s warmth.
The warrior was ready to get up and start cleaning up the mess he had made the night before, but he had promised Erestor that he would wake in his arms, so he wasn’t going anywhere until his beloved woke. He rested his chin on the dark head and glanced around the room. What a mess! His dirty clothes lay in a soggy, half-frozen heap. The dirty linens and used blankets seemed to be everywhere, and he had left their used bowls just sitting on the table.
Judging by how low the fire had burned, he figured it was probably late in the morning. He really needed to build up the fire again to warm the room more. With any luck the kettle hadn’t boiled dry. He’d been so exhausted the night before, he couldn’t even remember if he’d left water in it. The soup was hopefully still good to eat and not burnt, and there were the griddlecakes he had made the day before that perhaps could be warmed again. He didn’t think he’d be able to do any new cooking until he got the mess cleaned up.
He suddenly noticed two large shadowy shapes in the other side of the room, and smiled. Asfaloth and Durion had sought out the warmth of the room during the night, and were resting next to each other for warmth, their blankets still covering their backs.
He really needed Erestor to wake so he could tend to the fire, aside from the fact that he needed to use the privy. He hated to wake him, but he didn’t have any other choice. Kissing seemed like it would be the best choice. Lifting Erestor’s head, he attacked the soft lips with fervor, gently nibbling and caressing them with his tongue.
Erestor moaned. As he slowly woke, his arms wrapped around Glorfindel, and he deepened the kiss until he had to move his lips to breathe. “Oh…how wonderful it is to wake in your arms with your lips upon mine,” he whispered.
“Forgive me for waking you, sweetheart, but I need to get up, and I promised you would wake in my arms,” Glorfindel said softly. “How do you feel this morning, my love?”
“Better. Just a little weak still. You need to get up?”
“The fire needs tending, and I have to go to the privy.”
“I don’t want you to go. I don’t want to move, but I think I need to go there too,” Erestor replied.
“Let’s go and get that over with first, sweetheart, then you can get back in this warm bed while I build up the fire.”
Erestor nodded. “All right, my love.”
Glorfindel wrapped him in blankets and quickly carried him down the hall. It was freezing, so he hurried to get Erestor back to the warm bed.
When Glorfindel had him cozily sitting up in the bed, Erestor said, “After you tend the fire, will you come back to bed? Please, love? I want to…I need to tell you…I need to talk to you. Please?”
Glorfindel was a little concerned about what Erestor wanted to talk to him about, but he smiled and said, “Of course I will, my love.”
He quickly built the fire back up, then checked the kettle. Luckily it was nearly full. Remembering his promise to himself, he prepared a cup of tea for Erestor, adding honey to sweeten it. He stirred the soup, and was pleased to see it still looked and smelled good.
Erestor noticed the horses and spoke softly to Durion. The horse walked over to the bed and snuffed at his master. Erestor rubbed his nose, and then sent him back to Asfaloth’s side.
Returning to the bed with the tea, Glorfindel snuggled next to Erestor, handed him the cup, and said, “Now, what would you like to talk to me about, my love?”
Erestor took a sip of the tea. “Thank you, my love.” Taking a deep breath, he stared into the cup and started talking. “I have so many things I want to say. I have loved you since the very first moment I saw you. You have been my closest friend, and are dearer to me than I can say. You have been the light in my life in so very many ways. If I was sad or distressed about something, you have always been there for me. You kept me from being lonely. When I was happy, you always shared my joy and let me share in yours. And now you tell me that you love me and my fondest desire has come true. You have cared for me like no one else ever has. Last night I was cruel to you, and still you cared for me and love me.” He paused to take another sip of tea, then turned his head to look into Glorfindel’s eyes. “I can no longer imagine my life without you.”
“Oh, my love,” Glorfindel said softly.
“You are the very air I breathe, Glorfindel. You are my heart, my life. Without you, I am nothing,” Erestor whispered. “I do not deserve you or your love, but I promise I will never let you regret you love me. I want so much to make you happy. I want to be yours so very much. Please, my love, you are the other half of my soul. I will not be complete without you. Please do not make me wait. I need you so much. Please, bind with me? Please make me whole?”
“Oh, sweetheart. What if we make your wound worse? I don’t want to hurt you,” Glorfindel said quietly.
“Please, my love. The worst that will happen is the stitches will come out, and you can just stitch it up again. I don’t care about that. I need you. I can’t heal without you. You are the other half of me. Please?”
Glorfindel took Erestor’s cup and set it on the stand so he could hold his beloved in his arms and think for a moment. He wrapped his arms around Erestor and held him tightly. “Erestor, my love, if I am your other half, then you are mine, and I will never be complete without you. If you truly want to do this, I cannot refuse you. I would do anything for you. I cannot bear the thought of your not being with me forever. I love you so very much, and there is nothing I want more than for us to be bound.” He kissed Erestor’s sweet lips.
“Will you say the words first?”
“Erestor, I bind myself to you. You are my heart and soul, my eternal love. You hold my heart in your hands. I will always love you, always protect you, and always care for you. May Eru bless our binding. I love you.”
Tears welled in Erestor’s eyes and began to fall.
“Glorfindel, I bind myself to you. You are my heart and soul, the light in my life. I am nothing without you, and I will live the rest of my life trying to be worthy of your love. I will always love you, always protect you, and always care for you. May Eru bless our binding.”
Glorfindel’s mouth sought his new husband’s. Their tears mingling, they sealed their vows with a kiss.
Glorfindel devoured Erestor’s mouth. Teeth clashed and tongues caressed each other, delving and exploring, and it was wonderful. Finally parting for breath, Glorfindel rested his head on Erestor’s shoulder, licking and nibbling at Erestor’s neck. “Sweet Elbereth, you taste so good, my love,” Glorfindel whispered, loving the taste and feel of his new mate. “I want to taste all of you.”
“Then come and taste, beloved,” Erestor purred, capturing Glorfindel’s mouth with his own, and thrusting his tongue into the sweetness.
Glorfindel moaned and thought about ripping Erestor’s nightshirt off, but managed to realize it might not be a good thing to do. He was having trouble thinking straight with Erestor in his arms, kissing him passionately. He broke the kiss, panting. “Please, love, I want this off of you,” he said, pulling at the nightshirt.
Erestor leaned back as Glorfindel helped him pull the nightshirt over his head. Glorfindel threw it aside, and slowly ran his hands over his beloved’s chest before pulling Erestor beneath him and lowering his mouth over a rosy nipple. Sucking it into his mouth, Glorfindel moaned and teased it with his teeth and tongue, as Erestor gasped and writhed.
Erestor reached down and managed to push Glorfindel’s sleep pants below his hips, then pulled his lover back up to capture his mouth for a passionate kiss. Their engorged members rubbed together, and moans erupted from both lovers.
Glorfindel reached between them and wrapped his large hand around both hard members and stroked them together.
“Please, please, my love,” Erestor pleaded. “Do not torment me. Please make me yours.”
“Oh, Valar, Erestor. I want you so much. Oil…I need oil…oil…oil…Oh, in my pack. Don’t move, beloved.” Glorfindel jumped up and pulled his sleep pants off, then darted to his pack to rummage in it. “Oh, thank goodness, it’s here!”
Glorfindel darted back to the bed and crawled back under the warm blankets.
“Oh…your feet are cold!” Erestor said.
“Sorry, my love, cold floor. They will warm up again in a minute. Mmmm…I think you will be very warm in a minute or two,” Glorfindel said, as he sucked an ear tip into his mouth and Erestor wailed.
“Please…please,” Erestor begged.
Glorfindel moved his mouth to Erestor’s and popped the cork out of the phial with his thumb. Releasing the sweet lips, he coated his fingers with the oil. “Relax for me, beloved. I will try to make this easy for you.”
“Please, my love, my husband, make love to me, please take me,” Erestor said. “I have waited so long for you.”
Glorfindel slid a pillow under Erestor’s hips and raised his legs, draping them over his shoulders. His fingers gently massaged the muscles around Erestor’s entrance, then slowly pushed one finger in, moaning as muscles clenched around it. “Oh, love…so hot…so tight. Relax for me,” he whispered, as he ran his tongue up Erestor’s hard cock and suckled on the tip.
Erestor wailed and thrust his hips up. “Glor…fin…del…Oh…more!” he begged.
Glorfindel took Erestor’s member into his mouth to the hilt, as a second finger joined the first, stretching and scissoring. The feel of the heat and muscles clenching around his fingers was incredible. He searched for Erestor’s hidden spot and knew he found it when Erestor cried out. A third finger joined the others as his tongue wrapped around the hard cock in his mouth and teased the slit.
“Glor…please…now…take…me…take…me,” Erestor screamed.
“Soon, baby. Just a little more.” Glorfindel thrust his fingers deeply in and out, making sure Erestor would have as little pain as possible.
“Please, now…now…now,” Erestor begged.
“Yes, my sweet husband, now,” Glorfindel, answered, as he gently removed his fingers. Quickly coating himself with oil, he groaned. Placing the tip at Erestor’s entrance, he pushed gently.
Glorfindel had prepared Erestor well, and slid in with one fluid thrust to the hilt. “Oh…Erestor, oh, Erestor, oh…Erestor,” he whispered. “Oh, Elbereth…so good, so good.”
Erestor moaned and pulled his legs free to wrap them around Glorfindel’s waist. He was Glorfindel’s now, and it was perfect. Sobbing in rapture, he pulled Glorfindel close and kissed him passionately. “I am yours now. Forever.”
Glorfindel gently thrust and unerringly hit Erestor’s sweet spot. “I am yours and you are mine, my love, forever,” he whispered brokenly, as Erestor whimpered in bliss. “Forever.” Another thrust. “Forever,” he whispered as he thrust again.
Erestor screamed as Glorfindel hit his spot, again and again. Glorfindel lifted him up against his chest, and then buried his head in Erestor’s neck, holding on to him tightly.
Again and again Glorfindel thrust, as they howled out their pleasure. Two separate souls danced and joined and became one. Two separate hearts sang of their love and beat as one. Lightening ran through and around them as the air sizzled with their love.
Glorfindel reached between them and wrapped his hand around his new husband’s member and stroked once. Erestor screamed as his seed erupted between them, and then cried out Glorfindel’s name as he felt his wonderful mate come forcefully inside of him.
Glorfindel had never felt anything as good as Erestor’s muscles pulsing around his hard member as he thrust inside the quivering channel. Buried inside of his beloved, his world exploded in light and he came, shouting Erestor’s name in bliss.
The two elves glowed softly as Glorfindel collapsed beside Erestor. Wrapped around each other, they panted, “I love you,” before falling into reverie.
~~~*~~~
Glorfindel woke and smiled down at the dark head resting on his chest. “Erestor,” he whispered. “My Erestor.” His fingers moved through the silky hair.
Erestor stirred and slowly woke. He snuggled closer to Glorfindel for warmth, wrapping his arms around his husband. When he heard Glorfindel softly chuckle, he raised his head to find blue eyes looking down at him.
“How do you feel, my love?” Glorfindel asked. “How does your wound feel?”
“I feel wonderful, beloved, and you are so warm and comfortable. And my wound is not bothering me at all,” Erestor answered, smiling.
“You did not eat very much last night, my love. Are you hungry?”
“Hmmm…. I believe I could probably eat a small mountain of food.” Erestor grinned. “I am starving. Do we have any of your wonderful soup left? And maybe some of the griddlecakes?”
“Yes, my love. You stay here and keep warm, and I will get our food.” Glorfindel kissed Erestor sweetly, then left their warm bed. He quickly pulled on a robe and moved to the fire. He fixed tea and set it to brew, then filled a bowl with soup and took it to his hungry husband.
Erestor was sitting up and smiled as he took the bowl. “Oh, that smells good. Thank you, my love. Are you going to join me?”
“In a moment, beloved. I want to warm the griddlecakes for you. They’re almost frozen. You start on your soup while I do that.” Glorfindel kissed Erestor quickly, then returned to fixing their meal. While the griddlecakes were warming over the fire, he added honey to Erestor’s tea and carried it to him. Erestor had already finished his soup, so he took the bowl to refill it, grinning at his love. When the griddlecakes were warm, he put them on a plate and drizzled honey over them, then filled Erestor’s soup bowl and one for himself. He found a tray and placed everything on it, then added dried fruit, and tea for himself to the tray and carried it to the bed.
“Here we are, love. More soup, griddlecakes and dried fruit.” Glorfindel sat on the bed and set the tray between them. “After we eat, my love, I need to clean up this cabin. It’s a mess. And I have to wash our used linens and clothing, wash the dishes we’ve been using, and make something for our next meal. Will you rest for me while I do all that?”
“I would much rather help you with all that, my love. Truly, I feel wonderful,” Erestor said, in between mouthfuls of griddlecake. “Let’s check on my wound after we eat and you can see.”
“All right, my sweet. We will see.” Glorfindel leaned over to kiss Erestor. “Hmm…honey! I knew you were sweet.”
A giggle escaped Erestor, and he covered his mouth with his hand. “What was that?”
Glorfindel laughed heartily. “I believe that would be something called a giggle, my love.”
Erestor’s eyes were wide and shocked. “I don’t giggle. Imladris’ Chief Councilor does not giggle.”
“No, my love, he doesn’t. But apparently my sweet husband does. And I find it utterly adorable, and will look for any way to make him do it again. But only for me when we’re alone. Imladris’ Chief Councilor does not giggle.” He leaned over and kissed Erestor again. “I love you, my heart.”
“I love you, Glorfindel. I am so very happy, my love.”
“As am I, beloved.”
After breakfast, Glorfindel checked Erestor’s wound and found it nearly healed. “I think we can probably take the stitches out tomorrow, beloved, if it keeps healing like this.”
Erestor smirked. “I want to get up and move again, my love.”
“All right, beloved. But you must move slowly. You have not been out of this bed for days, so you may be dizzy at first.” Glorfindel brought a robe for Erestor, helped him stand, and wrapped him warmly in the robe. He really wanted Erestor to rest, but understood that he could not ask his beloved to lie in bed any longer.
Erestor held on to Glorfindel and started slowly walking. “Let’s go the privy first, love.”
They had to stop once on the way when Erestor walked too fast and got a little dizzy, but he was determined to stay up and help Glorfindel. When they returned, he headed towards the horses. “I have missed you, my friend,” he said rubbing Durion’s nose. “And you too, Asfaloth. Glorfindel, do we have any of the griddlecakes left for them?”
“We do. What a good idea, my love.” Glorfindel brought the left over griddlecakes, and they fed them to the animals. “Now you two stay over here, out of the way, or in the stable, while Erestor and I clean up, all right? And no making a mess in here. Make sure you go to the stable for that.”
Asfaloth snorted, as if to say, “Well, of course. What do you think we are, human horses?”
Erestor chuckled, and giving Durion one last scratch said, “What do you want me to do, my love?”
“Let’s get this washing out of the way first. Come, sit over by the fire.” Glorfindel settled Erestor in a chair by the fire, then began sorting out the mess. He piled the used blankets and linens in one spot, then dumped his half frozen clothing in the tub and poured hot water over them. While they soaked for a minute, he gathered all of their used plates and bowls and stacked them up near the tub. Luckily he still had enough water in all the bowls and pots he had filled for rinse water, so he filled his two buckets with clean water.
“After we wash everything, we can rinse them first in one bucket and then the other to get the soap out,” Glorfindel said. “Let’s see, where shall we hang everything.”
“Do we have rope, my love? You can hang it along the side of the room where the door is. We can’t open the door anyway.”
Glorfindel rose, kissed Erestor, and said, “Wonderful idea. There is rope in the stable. I’ll be right back, my love.” He dashed off to the stable and quickly returned with the rope.
While he hung the rope, Erestor knelt by the side of the tub and began to wash Glorfindel’s clothes in the warm, soapy water. When Glorfindel returned, he helped Erestor ring them out, and put a few of the soiled linens in the tub for Erestor to start washing. Then he rinsed them in the first bucket, rung them out, rinsed them in the second bucket, rung them out and hung them over the rope. One by one the sheets and towels and cloths they had used joined the clothes on the rope, and then the blankets.
“Now the dishes,” Glorfindel said. “But we need fresh rinse water.” He took the first rinse bucket and dumped it in the privy, then returned and filled it with water. He looked at the tub. “Erestor, my love, do you think we could use that for a bath when we’re done? You could stand in it while I pour water over you, then you could do the same for me. What do you think?”
“That sounds wonderful, my love. I would love to have a bath,” Erestor smiled. “Do we have enough water?”
Glorfindel shook his head. “I’ll get more snow now and it can be heating while we finish everything else.” He took the large pot and carried it to the stable. Erestor joined him as he was moving the hay from the door.
“It is freezing in here. No wonder the horses went to the cabin. Can I help you, beloved?” Erestor asked.
“Bring all the other bowls and we’ll fill them too, sweetheart,” Glorfindel said.
Erestor went back and brought all the bowls and pots they had emptied for washing. When Glorfindel pulled the door open, snow blew in all around them, but they managed to get all of the pots and bowls filled, then pushed the door shut together.
“The storm is still fierce. No wonder it’s gotten so cold. Thank the Valar there is enough wood for the fire, or we would all freeze,” Erestor said, as they started carrying the pots to the cabin.
Glorfindel nodded. “We are most fortunate, my love, and I have thanked the elves who stocked it last many times. I intend to find out who they are when we return and thank them personally.”
Erestor nodded. “Indeed, my love, we owe them much.”
They filled their kettle, and hung two other large pots filled with snow over the fire to heat for their bath, then washed and dried the dished and stacked them neatly on the shelves. Glorfindel saved the cleanest rinse water to use for washing dishes, and dumped the other bucket down the privy. The tub had to be emptied, so he used the empty bucket to scoop the water up and made trip after trip down the short, cold hall to dump it.
While Glorfindel was taking care of the water, Erestor tidied their packs and found a tunic and leggings to wear after their bath. Glorfindel would wear what he had worn yesterday. The robes they had on had gotten a bit soggy, and needed to join the other items hanging over the rope.
When the water was finally warm, Glorfindel filled the bucket and helped Erestor disrobe and stand in the tub. He removed his own robes, and slowly poured the first bucket over Erestor, starting with the top of his dark head.
“Oh, that feels so good,” Erestor said. He poured some soap into his hand and started to wash his arms and chest.
“Let me have the soap, love, and I’ll wash your hair.” Glorfindel took the bottle of soap Erestor handed him and poured a little onto the dark mane. He didn’t want to use too much and not have the warm water to rinse it. He ran his fingers through Erestor’s silky hair and massaged his scalp as Erestor purred. Hair done, he ran his hands down Erestor’s back and caressed his firm buttocks and run his fingers between the cheeks. Erestor gasped and purred. Then he washed down the back of Erestor’s legs and up the front, stopping to caress a few things just below the middle of his body. Erestor gasped, then giggled, then purred some more, and Glorfindel grinned. “I believe you are all washed, my love.” He slowly poured two buckets of fresh warm water over his mate, rising his hair and body, then held out a towel to wrap Erestor in.
“Hmmm…your turn, my sneaky husband,” Erestor said as he stepped out of the tub and wrapped the towel around his lithe form.
Glorfindel scooped a bucket full of the warm water from the tub, then stepped into the tub and handed Erestor the bucket.
Erestor slowly poured the water over Glorfindel, then lovingly washed his hair. He lathered soap in his hands, and ran them slowly over Glorfindel’s chest, stopping to tease two rosy nipples. Discarding his towel, then stepping into the tub with Glorfindel, he captured the warrior’s lips with his own. He moved a hand lower and grasped the half-aroused member, stroking it to hardness, and with the other caressed the sacks below it.
Glorfindel groaned, and deepened their kiss, and Erestor moved the hand that had been caressing the sacks around to stroke and squeeze his husband’s muscled buttocks.
Pulling his head and hands away, Erestor smiled coyly, and bent to wash Glorfindel’s legs, then the rest of his body. When he had finished rinsing Glorfindel, and himself again, he pulled his blonde lover from the tub and wrapped them both in a large towel before plundering his mate’s sweet mouth again with bruising kisses.
As Glorfindel picked him up and carried him to the bed, Erestor giggled again, and buried his damp head into his husband’s neck, licking and nibbling as they went.
Glorfindel tossed him on the bed before covering Erestor’s body with his own and ravished his luscious mouth, thrusting his tongue deeply into the sweetness. Erestor writhed beneath him as he relentlessly ravaged neck, ears, and nipples, before moving back up to capture his mouth again.
Erestor thrust his hips up, desperately trying to feel Glorfindel’s hardness against his own. “Please, my love, touch me…take me…I want you,” he begged.
Glorfindel reached for the bottle of oil he had left on the stand the night before. Opening the bottle, he coated his fingers, then placed the bottle back on the stand. One hand wrapped around Erestor’s weeping member, stroking, as the other gently prepared his lover.
When a second finger joined the first and bent to stroke the secret spot deep within, Erestor cried out and gripped Glorfindel’s arms. “Please…take me…take me,” he wailed.
“Soon, my darling one. Soon,” Glorfindel said. How he loved to see Erestor panting and writhing beneath him, lost in his passion. No one but him would ever know this passionate side of the powerful councilor. It was for him alone.
“Now!” Erestor cried out. “Now!”
“Yes, my lusty one, now.” Glorfindel withdrew his fingers and grabbed the oil to smooth it over himself, before plunging his hardness into the tight channel. “Oh, Erestor…so good, my love.” Slowly he withdrew and thrust again, and Erestor wailed.
“Oh, Glorfindel…more…harder…more,” Erestor shouted.
Glorfindel gave Erestor everything he wanted, thrusting harder and faster. “Oh, Erestor…Oh…I love you…I love you…so good…so good,” he panted as he pushed his arms under Erestor’s shoulders and lifted him against his chest, holding him tightly. Burying his head in Erestor’s neck, he whimpered, “I love you…I love you.”
Erestor sobbed as Glorfindel thrust into him, and lightening coursed through his body. He gripped Glorfindel’s shoulders. “Love…you…love…you.”
Glorfindel was losing control as Erestor’s channel quivered around his hard member, and he whimpered into Erestor’s neck.
Souls joining, hearts singing with love, they came together, screaming each other’s name.
One week later~
Erestor and Glorfindel sat together at the table, enjoying their hot soup and griddlecakes. The storm had finally stopped the day before, and they would soon try to dig themselves and the horses out of the cabin. In the distance, they heard shouting, then the jangling of horses’ harnesses.
They looked at each other, startled. The snow was piled high over the windows, so they had nowhere to look outside, and had no idea who was outside.
“Erestor! Glorfindel! Are you in there?”
“We’re here, Elrond!” Glorfindel yelled, smiling at Erestor.
“Oh, thank the Valar. We’ll have you dug out of there in no time,” Elrond called back.
“Elrond, probably Elladan and Elrohir – they wouldn’t let their father leave without them – probably ten guards. We’d better start making more soup and griddlecakes, my love,” Erestor said.
Glorfindel built up the fire, and while the elves outside dug, the elves inside cooked.
Erestor took their clothing down and unfastened the rope, then folded everything neatly and placed them in their packs. He set out thirteen more bowls and spoons, then looked around the room sadly.
“What’s wrong, my love?” Glorfindel said softly, moving to Erestor’s side.
“I almost hate to leave this place.” Erestor sighed deeply. “Glorfindel, my darling, it has been so wonderful being here with you. I cannot imagine a more perfect place for a wedding trip. Thank you, my husband, for caring for me, for marrying me, for loving me,” he whispered.
Glorfindel drew Erestor into his arms. “Thank you, my husband, for marrying me, for loving me, for making me the happiest elf on all of Arda,” he said softly.
When Elrond and the twins burst through the door, they found Erestor and Glorfindel standing together, arms wrapped around each other tightly, sharing a deeply passionate kiss.
Elrond cleared his throat, “Ehem…are we interrupting?”
The two lovers slowly ended the kiss, and smiled at each other. “Not at all, Elrond,” Glorfindel said.
“Indeed not,” Erestor replied. “Come and warm yourselves by the fire. We have hot soup and wonderful griddlecakes for you. My sweet husband is a marvelous cook.”
Erestor giggled as he and Glorfindel were crushed with hugs from Elrond and his two sons, and their laughter warmed the room.
~The End~
Chapter 4
Glorfindel woke, and gently brushed tangled dark hair out of Erestor’s face. He smiled down on his still sleeping love, and couldn’t resist placing a soft kiss on the full, red lips. Erestor murmured, and snuggled deeper into Glorfindel’s warmth.
The warrior was ready to get up and start cleaning up the mess he had made the night before, but he had promised Erestor that he would wake in his arms, so he wasn’t going anywhere until his beloved woke. He rested his chin on the dark head and glanced around the room. What a mess! His dirty clothes lay in a soggy, half-frozen heap. The dirty linens and used blankets seemed to be everywhere, and he had left their used bowls just sitting on the table.
Judging by how low the fire had burned, he figured it was probably late in the morning. He really needed to build up the fire again to warm the room more. With any luck the kettle hadn’t boiled dry. He’d been so exhausted the night before, he couldn’t even remember if he’d left water in it. The soup was hopefully still good to eat and not burnt, and there were the griddlecakes he had made the day before that perhaps could be warmed again. He didn’t think he’d be able to do any new cooking until he got the mess cleaned up.
He suddenly noticed two large shadowy shapes in the other side of the room, and smiled. Asfaloth and Durion had sought out the warmth of the room during the night, and were resting next to each other for warmth, their blankets still covering their backs.
He really needed Erestor to wake so he could tend to the fire, aside from the fact that he needed to use the privy. He hated to wake him, but he didn’t have any other choice. Kissing seemed like it would be the best choice. Lifting Erestor’s head, he attacked the soft lips with fervor, gently nibbling and caressing them with his tongue.
Erestor moaned. As he slowly woke, his arms wrapped around Glorfindel, and he deepened the kiss until he had to move his lips to breathe. “Oh…how wonderful it is to wake in your arms with your lips upon mine,” he whispered.
“Forgive me for waking you, sweetheart, but I need to get up, and I promised you would wake in my arms,” Glorfindel said softly. “How do you feel this morning, my love?”
“Better. Just a little weak still. You need to get up?”
“The fire needs tending, and I have to go to the privy.”
“I don’t want you to go. I don’t want to move, but I think I need to go there too,” Erestor replied.
“Let’s go and get that over with first, sweetheart, then you can get back in this warm bed while I build up the fire.”
Erestor nodded. “All right, my love.”
Glorfindel wrapped him in blankets and quickly carried him down the hall. It was freezing, so he hurried to get Erestor back to the warm bed.
When Glorfindel had him cozily sitting up in the bed, Erestor said, “After you tend the fire, will you come back to bed? Please, love? I want to…I need to tell you…I need to talk to you. Please?”
Glorfindel was a little concerned about what Erestor wanted to talk to him about, but he smiled and said, “Of course I will, my love.”
He quickly built the fire back up, then checked the kettle. Luckily it was nearly full. Remembering his promise to himself, he prepared a cup of tea for Erestor, adding honey to sweeten it. He stirred the soup, and was pleased to see it still looked and smelled good.
Erestor noticed the horses and spoke softly to Durion. The horse walked over to the bed and snuffed at his master. Erestor rubbed his nose, and then sent him back to Asfaloth’s side.
Returning to the bed with the tea, Glorfindel snuggled next to Erestor, handed him the cup, and said, “Now, what would you like to talk to me about, my love?”
Erestor took a sip of the tea. “Thank you, my love.” Taking a deep breath, he stared into the cup and started talking. “I have so many things I want to say. I have loved you since the very first moment I saw you. You have been my closest friend, and are dearer to me than I can say. You have been the light in my life in so very many ways. If I was sad or distressed about something, you have always been there for me. You kept me from being lonely. When I was happy, you always shared my joy and let me share in yours. And now you tell me that you love me and my fondest desire has come true. You have cared for me like no one else ever has. Last night I was cruel to you, and still you cared for me and love me.” He paused to take another sip of tea, then turned his head to look into Glorfindel’s eyes. “I can no longer imagine my life without you.”
“Oh, my love,” Glorfindel said softly.
“You are the very air I breathe, Glorfindel. You are my heart, my life. Without you, I am nothing,” Erestor whispered. “I do not deserve you or your love, but I promise I will never let you regret you love me. I want so much to make you happy. I want to be yours so very much. Please, my love, you are the other half of my soul. I will not be complete without you. Please do not make me wait. I need you so much. Please, bind with me? Please make me whole?”
“Oh, sweetheart. What if we make your wound worse? I don’t want to hurt you,” Glorfindel said quietly.
“Please, my love. The worst that will happen is the stitches will come out, and you can just stitch it up again. I don’t care about that. I need you. I can’t heal without you. You are the other half of me. Please?”
Glorfindel took Erestor’s cup and set it on the stand so he could hold his beloved in his arms and think for a moment. He wrapped his arms around Erestor and held him tightly. “Erestor, my love, if I am your other half, then you are mine, and I will never be complete without you. If you truly want to do this, I cannot refuse you. I would do anything for you. I cannot bear the thought of your not being with me forever. I love you so very much, and there is nothing I want more than for us to be bound.” He kissed Erestor’s sweet lips.
“Will you say the words first?”
“Erestor, I bind myself to you. You are my heart and soul, my eternal love. You hold my heart in your hands. I will always love you, always protect you, and always care for you. May Eru bless our binding. I love you.”
Tears welled in Erestor’s eyes and began to fall.
“Glorfindel, I bind myself to you. You are my heart and soul, the light in my life. I am nothing without you, and I will live the rest of my life trying to be worthy of your love. I will always love you, always protect you, and always care for you. May Eru bless our binding.”
Glorfindel’s mouth sought his new husband’s. Their tears mingling, they sealed their vows with a kiss.
Glorfindel devoured Erestor’s mouth. Teeth clashed and tongues caressed each other, delving and exploring, and it was wonderful. Finally parting for breath, Glorfindel rested his head on Erestor’s shoulder, licking and nibbling at Erestor’s neck. “Sweet Elbereth, you taste so good, my love,” Glorfindel whispered, loving the taste and feel of his new mate. “I want to taste all of you.”
“Then come and taste, beloved,” Erestor purred, capturing Glorfindel’s mouth with his own, and thrusting his tongue into the sweetness.
Glorfindel moaned and thought about ripping Erestor’s nightshirt off, but managed to realize it might not be a good thing to do. He was having trouble thinking straight with Erestor in his arms, kissing him passionately. He broke the kiss, panting. “Please, love, I want this off of you,” he said, pulling at the nightshirt.
Erestor leaned back as Glorfindel helped him pull the nightshirt over his head. Glorfindel threw it aside, and slowly ran his hands over his beloved’s chest before pulling Erestor beneath him and lowering his mouth over a rosy nipple. Sucking it into his mouth, Glorfindel moaned and teased it with his teeth and tongue, as Erestor gasped and writhed.
Erestor reached down and managed to push Glorfindel’s sleep pants below his hips, then pulled his lover back up to capture his mouth for a passionate kiss. Their engorged members rubbed together, and moans erupted from both lovers.
Glorfindel reached between them and wrapped his large hand around both hard members and stroked them together.
“Please, please, my love,” Erestor pleaded. “Do not torment me. Please make me yours.”
“Oh, Valar, Erestor. I want you so much. Oil…I need oil…oil…oil…Oh, in my pack. Don’t move, beloved.” Glorfindel jumped up and pulled his sleep pants off, then darted to his pack to rummage in it. “Oh, thank goodness, it’s here!”
Glorfindel darted back to the bed and crawled back under the warm blankets.
“Oh…your feet are cold!” Erestor said.
“Sorry, my love, cold floor. They will warm up again in a minute. Mmmm…I think you will be very warm in a minute or two,” Glorfindel said, as he sucked an ear tip into his mouth and Erestor wailed.
“Please…please,” Erestor begged.
Glorfindel moved his mouth to Erestor’s and popped the cork out of the phial with his thumb. Releasing the sweet lips, he coated his fingers with the oil. “Relax for me, beloved. I will try to make this easy for you.”
“Please, my love, my husband, make love to me, please take me,” Erestor said. “I have waited so long for you.”
Glorfindel slid a pillow under Erestor’s hips and raised his legs, draping them over his shoulders. His fingers gently massaged the muscles around Erestor’s entrance, then slowly pushed one finger in, moaning as muscles clenched around it. “Oh, love…so hot…so tight. Relax for me,” he whispered, as he ran his tongue up Erestor’s hard cock and suckled on the tip.
Erestor wailed and thrust his hips up. “Glor…fin…del…Oh…more!” he begged.
Glorfindel took Erestor’s member into his mouth to the hilt, as a second finger joined the first, stretching and scissoring. The feel of the heat and muscles clenching around his fingers was incredible. He searched for Erestor’s hidden spot and knew he found it when Erestor cried out. A third finger joined the others as his tongue wrapped around the hard cock in his mouth and teased the slit.
“Glor…please…now…take…me…take…me,” Erestor screamed.
“Soon, baby. Just a little more.” Glorfindel thrust his fingers deeply in and out, making sure Erestor would have as little pain as possible.
“Please, now…now…now,” Erestor begged.
“Yes, my sweet husband, now,” Glorfindel, answered, as he gently removed his fingers. Quickly coating himself with oil, he groaned. Placing the tip at Erestor’s entrance, he pushed gently.
Glorfindel had prepared Erestor well, and slid in with one fluid thrust to the hilt. “Oh…Erestor, oh, Erestor, oh…Erestor,” he whispered. “Oh, Elbereth…so good, so good.”
Erestor moaned and pulled his legs free to wrap them around Glorfindel’s waist. He was Glorfindel’s now, and it was perfect. Sobbing in rapture, he pulled Glorfindel close and kissed him passionately. “I am yours now. Forever.”
Glorfindel gently thrust and unerringly hit Erestor’s sweet spot. “I am yours and you are mine, my love, forever,” he whispered brokenly, as Erestor whimpered in bliss. “Forever.” Another thrust. “Forever,” he whispered as he thrust again.
Erestor screamed as Glorfindel hit his spot, again and again. Glorfindel lifted him up against his chest, and then buried his head in Erestor’s neck, holding on to him tightly.
Again and again Glorfindel thrust, as they howled out their pleasure. Two separate souls danced and joined and became one. Two separate hearts sang of their love and beat as one. Lightening ran through and around them as the air sizzled with their love.
Glorfindel reached between them and wrapped his hand around his new husband’s member and stroked once. Erestor screamed as his seed erupted between them, and then cried out Glorfindel’s name as he felt his wonderful mate come forcefully inside of him.
Glorfindel had never felt anything as good as Erestor’s muscles pulsing around his hard member as he thrust inside the quivering channel. Buried inside of his beloved, his world exploded in light and he came, shouting Erestor’s name in bliss.
The two elves glowed softly as Glorfindel collapsed beside Erestor. Wrapped around each other, they panted, “I love you,” before falling into reverie.
~~~*~~~
Glorfindel woke and smiled down at the dark head resting on his chest. “Erestor,” he whispered. “My Erestor.” His fingers moved through the silky hair.
Erestor stirred and slowly woke. He snuggled closer to Glorfindel for warmth, wrapping his arms around his husband. When he heard Glorfindel softly chuckle, he raised his head to find blue eyes looking down at him.
“How do you feel, my love?” Glorfindel asked. “How does your wound feel?”
“I feel wonderful, beloved, and you are so warm and comfortable. And my wound is not bothering me at all,” Erestor answered, smiling.
“You did not eat very much last night, my love. Are you hungry?”
“Hmmm…. I believe I could probably eat a small mountain of food.” Erestor grinned. “I am starving. Do we have any of your wonderful soup left? And maybe some of the griddlecakes?”
“Yes, my love. You stay here and keep warm, and I will get our food.” Glorfindel kissed Erestor sweetly, then left their warm bed. He quickly pulled on a robe and moved to the fire. He fixed tea and set it to brew, then filled a bowl with soup and took it to his hungry husband.
Erestor was sitting up and smiled as he took the bowl. “Oh, that smells good. Thank you, my love. Are you going to join me?”
“In a moment, beloved. I want to warm the griddlecakes for you. They’re almost frozen. You start on your soup while I do that.” Glorfindel kissed Erestor quickly, then returned to fixing their meal. While the griddlecakes were warming over the fire, he added honey to Erestor’s tea and carried it to him. Erestor had already finished his soup, so he took the bowl to refill it, grinning at his love. When the griddlecakes were warm, he put them on a plate and drizzled honey over them, then filled Erestor’s soup bowl and one for himself. He found a tray and placed everything on it, then added dried fruit, and tea for himself to the tray and carried it to the bed.
“Here we are, love. More soup, griddlecakes and dried fruit.” Glorfindel sat on the bed and set the tray between them. “After we eat, my love, I need to clean up this cabin. It’s a mess. And I have to wash our used linens and clothing, wash the dishes we’ve been using, and make something for our next meal. Will you rest for me while I do all that?”
“I would much rather help you with all that, my love. Truly, I feel wonderful,” Erestor said, in between mouthfuls of griddlecake. “Let’s check on my wound after we eat and you can see.”
“All right, my sweet. We will see.” Glorfindel leaned over to kiss Erestor. “Hmm…honey! I knew you were sweet.”
A giggle escaped Erestor, and he covered his mouth with his hand. “What was that?”
Glorfindel laughed heartily. “I believe that would be something called a giggle, my love.”
Erestor’s eyes were wide and shocked. “I don’t giggle. Imladris’ Chief Councilor does not giggle.”
“No, my love, he doesn’t. But apparently my sweet husband does. And I find it utterly adorable, and will look for any way to make him do it again. But only for me when we’re alone. Imladris’ Chief Councilor does not giggle.” He leaned over and kissed Erestor again. “I love you, my heart.”
“I love you, Glorfindel. I am so very happy, my love.”
“As am I, beloved.”
After breakfast, Glorfindel checked Erestor’s wound and found it nearly healed. “I think we can probably take the stitches out tomorrow, beloved, if it keeps healing like this.”
Erestor smirked. “I want to get up and move again, my love.”
“All right, beloved. But you must move slowly. You have not been out of this bed for days, so you may be dizzy at first.” Glorfindel brought a robe for Erestor, helped him stand, and wrapped him warmly in the robe. He really wanted Erestor to rest, but understood that he could not ask his beloved to lie in bed any longer.
Erestor held on to Glorfindel and started slowly walking. “Let’s go the privy first, love.”
They had to stop once on the way when Erestor walked too fast and got a little dizzy, but he was determined to stay up and help Glorfindel. When they returned, he headed towards the horses. “I have missed you, my friend,” he said rubbing Durion’s nose. “And you too, Asfaloth. Glorfindel, do we have any of the griddlecakes left for them?”
“We do. What a good idea, my love.” Glorfindel brought the left over griddlecakes, and they fed them to the animals. “Now you two stay over here, out of the way, or in the stable, while Erestor and I clean up, all right? And no making a mess in here. Make sure you go to the stable for that.”
Asfaloth snorted, as if to say, “Well, of course. What do you think we are, human horses?”
Erestor chuckled, and giving Durion one last scratch said, “What do you want me to do, my love?”
“Let’s get this washing out of the way first. Come, sit over by the fire.” Glorfindel settled Erestor in a chair by the fire, then began sorting out the mess. He piled the used blankets and linens in one spot, then dumped his half frozen clothing in the tub and poured hot water over them. While they soaked for a minute, he gathered all of their used plates and bowls and stacked them up near the tub. Luckily he still had enough water in all the bowls and pots he had filled for rinse water, so he filled his two buckets with clean water.
“After we wash everything, we can rinse them first in one bucket and then the other to get the soap out,” Glorfindel said. “Let’s see, where shall we hang everything.”
“Do we have rope, my love? You can hang it along the side of the room where the door is. We can’t open the door anyway.”
Glorfindel rose, kissed Erestor, and said, “Wonderful idea. There is rope in the stable. I’ll be right back, my love.” He dashed off to the stable and quickly returned with the rope.
While he hung the rope, Erestor knelt by the side of the tub and began to wash Glorfindel’s clothes in the warm, soapy water. When Glorfindel returned, he helped Erestor ring them out, and put a few of the soiled linens in the tub for Erestor to start washing. Then he rinsed them in the first bucket, rung them out, rinsed them in the second bucket, rung them out and hung them over the rope. One by one the sheets and towels and cloths they had used joined the clothes on the rope, and then the blankets.
“Now the dishes,” Glorfindel said. “But we need fresh rinse water.” He took the first rinse bucket and dumped it in the privy, then returned and filled it with water. He looked at the tub. “Erestor, my love, do you think we could use that for a bath when we’re done? You could stand in it while I pour water over you, then you could do the same for me. What do you think?”
“That sounds wonderful, my love. I would love to have a bath,” Erestor smiled. “Do we have enough water?”
Glorfindel shook his head. “I’ll get more snow now and it can be heating while we finish everything else.” He took the large pot and carried it to the stable. Erestor joined him as he was moving the hay from the door.
“It is freezing in here. No wonder the horses went to the cabin. Can I help you, beloved?” Erestor asked.
“Bring all the other bowls and we’ll fill them too, sweetheart,” Glorfindel said.
Erestor went back and brought all the bowls and pots they had emptied for washing. When Glorfindel pulled the door open, snow blew in all around them, but they managed to get all of the pots and bowls filled, then pushed the door shut together.
“The storm is still fierce. No wonder it’s gotten so cold. Thank the Valar there is enough wood for the fire, or we would all freeze,” Erestor said, as they started carrying the pots to the cabin.
Glorfindel nodded. “We are most fortunate, my love, and I have thanked the elves who stocked it last many times. I intend to find out who they are when we return and thank them personally.”
Erestor nodded. “Indeed, my love, we owe them much.”
They filled their kettle, and hung two other large pots filled with snow over the fire to heat for their bath, then washed and dried the dished and stacked them neatly on the shelves. Glorfindel saved the cleanest rinse water to use for washing dishes, and dumped the other bucket down the privy. The tub had to be emptied, so he used the empty bucket to scoop the water up and made trip after trip down the short, cold hall to dump it.
While Glorfindel was taking care of the water, Erestor tidied their packs and found a tunic and leggings to wear after their bath. Glorfindel would wear what he had worn yesterday. The robes they had on had gotten a bit soggy, and needed to join the other items hanging over the rope.
When the water was finally warm, Glorfindel filled the bucket and helped Erestor disrobe and stand in the tub. He removed his own robes, and slowly poured the first bucket over Erestor, starting with the top of his dark head.
“Oh, that feels so good,” Erestor said. He poured some soap into his hand and started to wash his arms and chest.
“Let me have the soap, love, and I’ll wash your hair.” Glorfindel took the bottle of soap Erestor handed him and poured a little onto the dark mane. He didn’t want to use too much and not have the warm water to rinse it. He ran his fingers through Erestor’s silky hair and massaged his scalp as Erestor purred. Hair done, he ran his hands down Erestor’s back and caressed his firm buttocks and run his fingers between the cheeks. Erestor gasped and purred. Then he washed down the back of Erestor’s legs and up the front, stopping to caress a few things just below the middle of his body. Erestor gasped, then giggled, then purred some more, and Glorfindel grinned. “I believe you are all washed, my love.” He slowly poured two buckets of fresh warm water over his mate, rising his hair and body, then held out a towel to wrap Erestor in.
“Hmmm…your turn, my sneaky husband,” Erestor said as he stepped out of the tub and wrapped the towel around his lithe form.
Glorfindel scooped a bucket full of the warm water from the tub, then stepped into the tub and handed Erestor the bucket.
Erestor slowly poured the water over Glorfindel, then lovingly washed his hair. He lathered soap in his hands, and ran them slowly over Glorfindel’s chest, stopping to tease two rosy nipples. Discarding his towel, then stepping into the tub with Glorfindel, he captured the warrior’s lips with his own. He moved a hand lower and grasped the half-aroused member, stroking it to hardness, and with the other caressed the sacks below it.
Glorfindel groaned, and deepened their kiss, and Erestor moved the hand that had been caressing the sacks around to stroke and squeeze his husband’s muscled buttocks.
Pulling his head and hands away, Erestor smiled coyly, and bent to wash Glorfindel’s legs, then the rest of his body. When he had finished rinsing Glorfindel, and himself again, he pulled his blonde lover from the tub and wrapped them both in a large towel before plundering his mate’s sweet mouth again with bruising kisses.
As Glorfindel picked him up and carried him to the bed, Erestor giggled again, and buried his damp head into his husband’s neck, licking and nibbling as they went.
Glorfindel tossed him on the bed before covering Erestor’s body with his own and ravished his luscious mouth, thrusting his tongue deeply into the sweetness. Erestor writhed beneath him as he relentlessly ravaged neck, ears, and nipples, before moving back up to capture his mouth again.
Erestor thrust his hips up, desperately trying to feel Glorfindel’s hardness against his own. “Please, my love, touch me…take me…I want you,” he begged.
Glorfindel reached for the bottle of oil he had left on the stand the night before. Opening the bottle, he coated his fingers, then placed the bottle back on the stand. One hand wrapped around Erestor’s weeping member, stroking, as the other gently prepared his lover.
When a second finger joined the first and bent to stroke the secret spot deep within, Erestor cried out and gripped Glorfindel’s arms. “Please…take me…take me,” he wailed.
“Soon, my darling one. Soon,” Glorfindel said. How he loved to see Erestor panting and writhing beneath him, lost in his passion. No one but him would ever know this passionate side of the powerful councilor. It was for him alone.
“Now!” Erestor cried out. “Now!”
“Yes, my lusty one, now.” Glorfindel withdrew his fingers and grabbed the oil to smooth it over himself, before plunging his hardness into the tight channel. “Oh, Erestor…so good, my love.” Slowly he withdrew and thrust again, and Erestor wailed.
“Oh, Glorfindel…more…harder…more,” Erestor shouted.
Glorfindel gave Erestor everything he wanted, thrusting harder and faster. “Oh, Erestor…Oh…I love you…I love you…so good…so good,” he panted as he pushed his arms under Erestor’s shoulders and lifted him against his chest, holding him tightly. Burying his head in Erestor’s neck, he whimpered, “I love you…I love you.”
Erestor sobbed as Glorfindel thrust into him, and lightening coursed through his body. He gripped Glorfindel’s shoulders. “Love…you…love…you.”
Glorfindel was losing control as Erestor’s channel quivered around his hard member, and he whimpered into Erestor’s neck.
Souls joining, hearts singing with love, they came together, screaming each other’s name.

One week later~
Erestor and Glorfindel sat together at the table, enjoying their hot soup and griddlecakes. The storm had finally stopped the day before, and they would soon try to dig themselves and the horses out of the cabin. In the distance, they heard shouting, then the jangling of horses’ harnesses.
They looked at each other, startled. The snow was piled high over the windows, so they had nowhere to look outside, and had no idea who was outside.
“Erestor! Glorfindel! Are you in there?”
“We’re here, Elrond!” Glorfindel yelled, smiling at Erestor.
“Oh, thank the Valar. We’ll have you dug out of there in no time,” Elrond called back.
“Elrond, probably Elladan and Elrohir – they wouldn’t let their father leave without them – probably ten guards. We’d better start making more soup and griddlecakes, my love,” Erestor said.
Glorfindel built up the fire, and while the elves outside dug, the elves inside cooked.
Erestor took their clothing down and unfastened the rope, then folded everything neatly and placed them in their packs. He set out thirteen more bowls and spoons, then looked around the room sadly.
“What’s wrong, my love?” Glorfindel said softly, moving to Erestor’s side.
“I almost hate to leave this place.” Erestor sighed deeply. “Glorfindel, my darling, it has been so wonderful being here with you. I cannot imagine a more perfect place for a wedding trip. Thank you, my husband, for caring for me, for marrying me, for loving me,” he whispered.
Glorfindel drew Erestor into his arms. “Thank you, my husband, for marrying me, for loving me, for making me the happiest elf on all of Arda,” he said softly.
When Elrond and the twins burst through the door, they found Erestor and Glorfindel standing together, arms wrapped around each other tightly, sharing a deeply passionate kiss.
Elrond cleared his throat, “Ehem…are we interrupting?”
The two lovers slowly ended the kiss, and smiled at each other. “Not at all, Elrond,” Glorfindel said.
“Indeed not,” Erestor replied. “Come and warm yourselves by the fire. We have hot soup and wonderful griddlecakes for you. My sweet husband is a marvelous cook.”
Erestor giggled as he and Glorfindel were crushed with hugs from Elrond and his two sons, and their laughter warmed the room.
~The End~
