Brotherly Love

Haldir laid down upon his bed and awaited Celeborn's return. A soft knock sounded at his door and he wondered who it could be. Celeborn wouldn't knock he'd just walk right in.
"Enter!" he called.
The door opened and his brothers Orophin and Rumil walked inside. Their heads were bowed and shame showed upon their faces.
"Yes?" he asked icily.
Rumil shifted and nervously said. "We wish to apologize for our behavior and words earlier. We were out of line."
"We also want you to know we love and support you in this and all things." Orophin added. Their peice delivered they turned to leave.
"Wait! Where are you going?" Haldir asked confused.
"We didn't think you wanted us around." Rumil's voice was puzzled.
"Well I do." Haldir patted the bed next to him.
Smiling Orophin and Rumil climbed in on either side of him. Like they used to do when they were elflings.
"Where is Celeborn?" Orophin asked Haldir as he rubbed his back.
"Went to get me something to eat." Haldir moaned as he felt his tense muscles relaxing. In front of him Rumil chuckled and smoothed the worry lines on his brother's face with his hands. Haldir smiled at the attention. He could get used to this! His brother's minstrations and the Lord waiting upon him. It was pure bliss. The door opened and Lord Celeborn walked into the room carrying a tray. He started when he saw that Rumil and Orophin had joined Haldir.
"I see you three made up." Celeborn said smiling as he sat the tray down on a bedside table.
Haldir smiled drowsily at him. "Yeah never could stay mad at them. They just give you a look and you forget everything including your anger."
"True. They were exceptionaly good at that when they were elflings." he said smiling
Celeborn loaded a plate with fruits, bread, and a small dish of honey. Honey was Haldir's favorite thing to eat and Elrond told him to make sure Haldir got what he liked the most. He waited untill Haldir sat up before he handed him the plate. In no time at all he had cleared his plate and was handing it back to Celeborn. Celebornsmiled and handed him a mug of fragrant herbal tea he had obtained from Elrond. Haldir managed to stay awake as he drank it but soon after he could feel himself drifting off. Celeborn eased his lover back down onto the bed. Immediatly Orophin and Rumil curled up around him like living blankets, they smiled at him before they two drifted off. Celeborn sat the tray outside to be picked up and he sat in a char oppsite the bed, He retreived a book and began to read it. They were that way for several hours the guardians sleeping and their Lord reading and watching over them.
