Estel
I release Legolas as he turned to acknowledge the twins. “ And how long have you two been standing there” I ask while walking towards them.
“Ai, Estel you wound us, are you not happy to see us?” Elrohir said feigning a hurt expression.
“Am always happy to see you two” I reply as they both stepped forward and enfolded me in a familiar double embrace. Closing my eyes I inhale their scent savouring the smell of wildflowers and berries. The smell of home.
Opening my eyes I smile as two pairs of lips gently kiss me on each cheek. “ We have missed you tôr dithen ( younger brother)” Elladan softly said.
“ And I have missed you both too” I replied, turning my head I kissed each of their cheeks. Giving them one last squeeze I step back to allow Legolas to also greet them.
“ Suilannad meldomelin ( greetings dear friend)” Elrohir and Elladan said to Legolas while engulfing him in a bear hug.
“ Greetings to you to…oof…. And could you please try and not break any ribs, I rather like them the the they are” Legolas replied breathlessly.
“ As you wish hir-nin ( My lord)” Elladan replied bowing dramatically. “ We hope no damage has been caused to the royal ribs” Elrohir joined in going down on one to knee and kissing Legolas’s hands chivalry.
I smile listening to their bantering and Legolas’s laughter at the twins antics. They are a sight to behold, Elladan and Elrohir with their peredhil blood were the epitome of elven male beauty. Tall, with lithe muscular forms, waist long silky hair as black as midnight and currently pulled away from their faces and held back in a single plait. Their skin was slightly darker more exotic than the full blooded elves whose skins tend to be more pallid. And with stormy grey eyes. Though being bonded mates that did not stop their being sought after by suitors both Edhel
( male elf) and Edain ( men). For the twins were known for taking and sharing lovers, once in while.
Legolas on the other hand like all woodlands elves had a more slender muscular form. Gotten from the years he has spent honing his skills with the bow, his twin knives, killing spiders and orcs. He had long waist length golden hair which shone in the day light drawing attentionhis his beauty, the twins maybe the epitome of elven male beauty but Legolas was the embodiment of the elven beauty. Surpassed only by my sister Arwen undómiel( Evenstar) whose beauty is likened to that of Luthien herself.
“ That’s enough you three” I call out to them. “ This stench is really getting to me and I would like us to leave this place soon or we will never make it home before the sun sets”.
Stopping their bantering we all resumed to the more serious task, stacking and burning the orcs bodies. When the last ember died down, we made our way to a small stream where we washed away the orcs blood and filth. Anor had already reached her Zenith when we finally retrieved our travelling packs, horses and headed for home.
