Eye Spy...
Chapter 39
"Billy!" We all exclaimed in unison. Elijah and Dom walked over to the bed and each took a hand. "You gave us scares there mate." Dom added.
"How's the Lass?" He asked.
"I'm fine Billy." I said. I tried to move a little, but both Billy and I weren't going anywhere. "I could use some chocolate though."
"Aye, that sounds good. But I could go for some Thai food myself." He smiled, "Are ye taking this down lads? Chocolate, Thai food...think of anything else Sarah?"
"Ooh, yeah. How 'bout some Tiramisu?"
"You two are insane." Elijah laughed.
"Get a move on ye daft sod!" Billy laughed.
"You know," Dom said. "His accent grows thicker as the morphine levels increase."
I laughed, "I think you're right hun." I was lucky in that I could move my head back and forth. Billy was severely limited as to what he could do, and had to stare at the ceiling. "Hey Billy, want to play 'I Spy?' with me?"
"Aye that sounds nice. Shall I start then?"
"Yes you may."
"I spy with my wee eye, something that is white and black."
I laughed, "The ceiling tiles."
"And?"
"Well I thought the black was the little specs on the tiles."
"Nope, try again lass."
I tried to look around as best I could, but I knew he couldn't see that much. "I give up." I sighed laughing.
"The black is the back of my eyelids when I blink." He chuckled. "I'm going to take a nap. Getting kind of sleepy just talking to ye."
"You rest up Billy. Don't worry about it." I said.
"We'll be back later hon. Gotta go to the airport and pick up a few people." Elijah kissed my forehead and my cheek.
Dom did the same, and tucked the sheets closer to me. "Want me to read you a story when we get back?" He asked in a childlike voice.
"Uh-huh." I pulled him closer so I could whisper in his ear. "Bring loli's and chocolate?"
"Sure thing Luv." He smiled and walked out with Elijah, shutting the door quietly behind him.
