"I do not know you that much but I can feel your sadness, Elrohir son of Elrond. A sadness I feel myself sometimes. Tell me what is making you sad. Is it love or is it something else."
Minan sat beside Elrohir on the garden bench and he gazed upon the other figure, who seemed lost somehow. Elrohir kept gazing at the stars up above and he sighed, thinking how to reply to the other elf.
They were taking a walk after dinner and they found themselves taking a rest in the garden, enjoying each others companionship.
In a few hours they had, they got to know each other better and they knew that they shared many things together; agreeing to become a friends. Elrohir liked Minan and his sense of humor and his mood felt lighter tonight as the other one shared his jokes and stories with him.
"Aye it has to do with love. A love which is forbidden and wrong and not possible to last."
Elrohir's eyes became teary and he reverted them, locking them on the statue. His brother didn't come home tonight again and Elrohir could feel a withdrawal on his brother's part.
He was feeling his brother's discord and he knew it had something to do with him. But how could he talk to his brother when Elladan didn't want to talk to him anymore.
He knew he had to do something about it tomorrow. He had to stop this rift between them. He could not let this get bigger.
"Love that is forbidden." Minan wondered. "What love would that be?"
Elrohir sighed and he moved his eyes to meet the other elf. A loA love I feel for my brother is the forbidden one. I never told this to anyone except you, but I feel that I can trust you."
Minan laughed and he patted Elrohir's shoulder.
"Aye you can trust me, mellon. These words you share with me now will never reach the strangers ears. Tell me, have you told your brother of your love."
"Yes, I have told him but he is still not sure what to do about it. Lately he withdraws himself from my company, ignoring me completely. Do you know how it feels to love and not to be loved back."
Elrohir said gently and he opened an upper button of his robe, looking back at the statue.
"Unfortunately, I do know how it feels to love and not to be loved back. I am in the same position as you are, but I do not pine for my brother. I love a certain Prince."
Elrohir raised his eyebrow in question and he started speaking.
"Who do you pine for?"
Minan chuckled as he replied; twinkle in his eyes changing into a longing shade.
"Legolas, son of Thranduil." Minan said as his voice wavered and Elrohir knew that the other one was suffering the same type of rejection, just like him.
"Have you tried to court him, Minan. Does he even know you like him?" Elrohir asked.
"Aye he knows but he doesn't care. I mean why should he. He is the Prince and I am a son of the Arthon the *mystic Lord*. Up to now the people didn't even know my family existed."
Elrohir smiled gently at him and he offered him hand as he got up from the bench.
"Never give up hope, Minan. And neither should I. After all, you will see Legolas soon. He arrives tomorrow with his father to attend my Ada's wedding. Maybe you will get him this time; who knows." Elrohir smiled and he started walking down the path, waiting for Minan to catch up.
"I hope so. Too many times had he refused my advances, torturing me and the fellow courtiers. Perhaps you can talk to him when he arrives; and find out what things he likes, what are his favorite things.
He never let me get closer to him but I really think that if you would find this out for me, then maybe I would have a chance with him. Please if I am not asking for too much, could you do this for me."
Minan asked with the plng vng voice and he looked up at Elrohir, hoping that the other one wouldn't refuse him.
"Alright,I'll do this for you. I knew Legolas since he was a little and he is not a snob like his father is. I think that Legolas is looking for somebody who will love him for who he is, not because of his title. Try to get to know him and do not pressure him into the relationship. If you do that maybe he'll come around."
Elrohir said and he kept walking with his new found friend, wondering what was his brother doing tonight.

"I am telling you, my ex wife is a witch just like Galadriel is, and I know that she had something to do with this. Didn't you Tidew." Arthon said to Elrond and he turned to her when she entered their chamber; bowing to them with the smirk on her face.
"What are you talking about, Arthon ?"She questioned.
"This, this letter we received from Galadriel, telling us she won't be attending our wedding and that we have to consummate our marriage on our wedding night. I didn't know I had to do that, otherwise I would have never signed that damn contract."
He turned to Elrond and he knew that the other one was equally shocked as he was himself.
"Serves you right for not reading the books about the laws of bonding. How did you two become a Lords is beyond me, when you can't read a bloody book?" Tidew sat down on the chair as she drank from her goblet, tasting the sweet wine on her tongue.
"I am not consummating anything with Elrond. Even thinking about it makes me sick to my stomach."
Arthon shuddered.
"Well, excuse me." Elrond said defensively." It's not like I would enjoy it too. The thought about it makes me sick also. I swear it, if I ever see Galadriel again I will give her a piece of my mind." Elrond sat down beside Tidew and he refilled his own goblet.
"Now, now you two. It's not like it's the end of the world. You just have to figure out who will be on bottom and who will be on top." Tidew chuckled and she stopped when she met both of their glares. She waved it off as she started speaking again.
"The wedding is a day after tomorrow. Have you made all of the necessary arrangements." She asked them.
"I have left it all in the hands of my advisors. The day I marry Arthon will not be a joyous day for me." Elrond said bitterly while he drank from his cup.
"Same goes here, Lord Elrond." Arthon said with the cold voice and he sat down on the other chair, contemplating what to do when the wedding day finally arrives.
Tidew on the other hand seemed to be enjoying this. She knew that those two should have been together long time ago, but the past, and some bad circumstances had not allowed that.
She was glad that she was the one who had finally managed to bring those two together. Now she only had to wait for those two to admit their feelings to each other, and she would know that her plan was complete. If only they weren't so damn stubborn.

The morning came and two figures entwined together kept sleeping, until a disturbing knock separated them. Erestor covered himself and his lover with the blanket and he yelled for the figure behind his door to enter.
Arthon's hshowshowed forward and his jaw dropped to the floor when he saw them in the bed together, almost naked.
"AI, Valar what did you do Erestor. And with Glorfindel.... Ewwww ." Arthon's displeasure was shown on his face and Erestor chuckled.
"Why not. I am bonded now and tomorrow around the noon you will be too. I am not ashamed of this."
Arthon felt uncomfortable being here right now and he knew he had to make this short. Seeing Erestor with his husband like this was sickening to him.
"Anyway, I came here to ask you a favor Erestor. Since you know your way around the books, I want to ask you if you would research something for me today. It's about the bonding me and Elrond have to take tomorrow and I want you to find out if the marriage has to consummated after we are married and if there is any way to escape that." Arthon said as he glared at Glorfindel, warning him to keep his mouth shut.
"Of course. I will go to library today reseresearch this for you. Anything else, cousin."
"No, that would be all Erestor. I bid you a good day." He left the room with the haste, hoping that Erestor would find out something useful for him.
But the deeper side of him had wanted this consummation to take place and that Erestor would find no solution to this. That part of him, scared him a lot and he wondered why was he hoping for something he never *wanted*.Or did he....
