A short time later, Haldir stood just inside the balcony entrance with the twins. When Legolas walked in, he immediately noticed that a blond warrior was hugging Elladan.


Elrohir quietly whispered "Ella...Legolas is here"


The elder twin blinked and then whispered into Haldirs ear "Old friend, he will not understand your hugging me, he is very possessive of me right now, our relationship is fresh and unchallenged, he may try and hurt you...saes, turn and hug Elrohir again"


As the prince drew closer, Haldir laughed loudly, playfully smacked Elladan on the biceps, turned, re-hugged Elrohir the same way and stated loudly "I have missed you both!"


Elladan looked over and smiled as he gestured for Legolas to come close "Melanin tul, meet our old friend Haldir"


When Haldir turned, his expression became one of shock and he blinked with disbelief "Valar...do...do you have a brother? I...I mean, Mae Govannen prince Legolas"


Legolas furrowed his brow and looked to Elladan "To fast, what say about brother?"


Before Elladan could open his mouth, Haldir held up his hand "Forgive me prince, forgot you speak tree" The march warden then bowed "Mae govannen prince, I apologize for reaction, when arrived this morning, met elf and lost heart. Archer, fair yet warrior"


Legolas chuckled and sadly shook his head "Nai, I have brother...but Haldir need let go of love and find another"


The march warden sighed and lowered his head as he whispered "He is bound then"


The prince shook his head "Nay, he like elleths"


Haldir arched his brow and gently touched his jaw "Mmm...that explains punch to face when kissed him"


Legolas burst into laughter "Kiss Erintur?! Aye, surprised he not break your jaw!" The prince then bit his lip when he noticed the wardens sad expression "Im sorry new friend Haldir...not mean laugh at hurt feelings"


Elladan and Elrohir drew close and each placed a hand on his shoulders "You truly lost your heart old friend?"


Haldir sighed heavily "The moment I saw him" The warden then shook his head "No one has ever made my heart leap from my chest and fly around my body before...I fear I love someone who will never..." Haldir stopped as he glanced to Legolas, and noticed that the prince was repeating his words silently to himself "I apologize prince...I was saying..."


Legolas held up his hand and blinked "Nay, I follow words...perhaps I wrong about brother. I been away a long time, perhaps he like both but private and not tell me"


Glorfindel suddenly walked in from the balcony and sighed "I overheard, I am sorry Haldir...but be at peace, the Valar have someone for you...perhaps he was not the one and...I am truly sorry"


Haldir hugged the seneschal and nodded "Though the twins tell me you have found your love? I am happy for you, my wait is but a blink compared to yours"


Glorfindel smiled and reached out onto the balcony "Ai, I he is my dear one" then yanked the archer to his side "This is archer Mirduin of Mirkwood"


Haldir chuckled and hugged the seneschal again "Congratulations Glorfindel! Ai he is fair!" The warden then pulled back and turned to hug Mirduin...everything seemed to go in slow motion as everyone...tho a tad to late...yalled "Nay!"


Mirduin stood above Haldir panting fearfully. Glorfindel quickly pulled him close and stroked his hair as he whispered "Shh...it is alright melanin, calm down he does not know"


The twins helped Haldir to his feet and hurriedly explained about the archer. Haldir inclined his head and sighed sadly "I apologize, I did not know about your touch boundary, forgive me"


Mirduin wrapped his arms around Glorfindels waist and whispered shyly "Forgiven"


Elrond and Erestor entered from the balcony and the advisor snorted "It seems you keep getting beaten down by those from Mirkwood Haldir...Prince Legolas, perhaps you would like to hit him as well?"


Legolas lightly chuckled "Was about to pull blade when saw hugging my Elladan"


Haldir looked at the advisor, narrowed his eyes and was about to respond when Erintur entered from the hall. The warrior crossed the room and smiled "Ai, mae govannen, you must be March warden Haldir, I am prince Erintur of Mirkwood"


Haldir lightly bowed "Mae govannen prince" then turned to Legolas "He is not the elf, have you another brother?"


Before Legolas could answer, Haldir lightly gasped and motioned to the door "Ai, That is he"


Everyone turned and there eyes widened. Legolas blinked in shock "That...that who you kiss?" "Nai prince"


Legolas shook his head "I take back, not surprised your jaw not broken...surprised you still alive!"


Elrond quickly pulled the warden over and smirked "Haldir of Lorien...meet...King Thranduil of Mirkwood"


Haldir suddenly choked and swallowed hard "K...king...King Thranduil?"


Thranduil narrowed his eyes and glared at Elrond as he bit through his teeth "We've met"
