The old ways 38

It took Haldir a second to register that Legolas was actually addressing him, and wanting him there. Quickly he took Legolas’ ankles in his hands, spreading the long pale legs and pushing them up to the blonde’s elf's chest.
Legolas hooked his knees and Haldir used his now free hands to guide his own arousal to the glistening opening. He was glad that the melted butter had lubricated it well and he pushed in with one hard thrust. Legolas wailed from the pain and pleasure and immediately moved his legs around Haldir's waist locking his ankles behind the back. Haldir was already thrusting into him with all the gathered need and passion, not caring if anyone heard or saw them.
Legolas clawed Haldir's back, leaving dark red scratches and pushed up against his lover with all the force he could muster. He felt cleaved in two, filled to the brim and his senses were overflowing, every nerve telling him how Haldir's fleshed pulled out and moved in again, stretching tissue, every time hitting that one bundle of nerves on his way and claiming him as his. He could fell Haldir tense and shudder and when he pushed in one last time and Legolas could feel the quivering of Haldir's cock inside of him, he let go off his own tension and roared as his own climax hit him.
Haldir's body shuddered while his senses slowly came back alive, and felt a warm wetness spread between his body and the sheets. A furious blush spread immediately across Haldir's face and he closed his eyes in shame. He was mortified at the thought that Eowyn would come and wash him again, or want to change sheets or anything of that thought, But than the second feeling of the embarrassment hit him and it was about the thought if he made any sounds. His dream had been very vivid and his body had obviously reacted quite strongly to it.
Carefully he observed the room he was lying in. The light of the setting sun streamed in through the narrow window and gave it all a peaceful atmosphere. The other four men were sleeping deeply and neither Eowyn nor Marna were anywhere near. He let out a sigh of relief, when suddenly a gently hand touched his shoulder and he heard Eowyn speak to him in a quiet whisper as not to disturb the others.
"I am sorry to bother you with this and I believe you when you are deeply troubled by my intentions, dear Haldir, but I witnessed something like this before and I am no stranger to the results of deep and pleasant dreams. But I believe it will be somewhat uncomfortable soon and I assure you that I will not look upon you with less respect after I cleansed you up a little."

Gimli felt Legolas straightening his back somewhat as they reached Isengard. Theoden had reached the Tower first and looked confused when he was greeted by two small persons, offering him a royal welcome.
Aragorn, Gimli and even Legolas were very happy to see the hobbits again. To Gimli's astonishment, Legolas actually joked a little with the hobbits about the wine and where they got it from. Gimli raised an eyebrow and gave Gandalf a small smile. Gandalf nodded to the dwarf and mentioned him not say anything about it.
It was to be a long and tiring day. Gandalf, Aragorn, Legolas and Gimli had walked up to speak to Saruman and in the end it was Grima Wormtongue who threw the Palantir at them to drive them away.
Aragorn picked it up and with Gandalf's help stored it safely, wrapped up in a cloth in one of Aragorn saddlebags.
Treebeard agreed to stay at watch, to make sure Saruman wouldn't get away and to protect the Rohan country.
So they rode on again towards Edoras for a short while until it grew dark and Gandalf called for a stop. Again campfires were lit and the men gathered in small groups around the fires. Naturally the crowd shared the warmth of one fire. Merry and Pippin babbled happily on about the time in Fangorn, telling all they knew about the Ents and entertained all that wanted to hear about it how they had plundered the cellar of Saruman. Both had not noticed the solemn faces of the others and only when Gandalf told them about the battle at Helm's Deep they grew more quiet and glanced at their fellow companions with a sorrowful look. It was Merry who asked the inevitable.
"What, Haldir died? You mean that proud, arrogant, good for nothing lay about came to your rescue? And he died? Oh my, I am sorry, but to be honest I am glad it was him and not one of you." He leaned back, crossed his arms and stared into the round. But his eyes grew wide when he heard the soft hitching breath coming from the proud elven warrior who suddenly stood up and walked away from the fire, head bowed and his shoulders sagging.
Gandalf glared at the hobbit. "I say, I am surprised it was you Meriadoc and not Peregrim who uttered these foolish words. I agree, you do not know all the circumstances, but Haldir was everything but a good- for- nothing lay about. He was an experienced and cunning warrior. A proud leader of his army and he would have given his life to save even you, fool of a hobbit. You have no right to judge him. We are all proud of you and what you have accomplished here together with the Ents, but you may not be so proud and overbearing as to talk about others like that. And so you might understand the reaction of our dear Legolas better, not only had he lost his brother in arms, but also his beloved and husband. Haldir was his mate, his bonded and the loss weighs heavily on our elf. There is the chance of us loosing him to the fate of the broken heart. So you better think first before you speak the next time and be a little more considering."
Merry's face had paled drastically and Pippin's mouth stood open. To everyone's surprise it was Pippin who spoke up "Come Merry, we will find Legolas and apologise to him immediately. We are sorry Gandalf. To happy were our hearts seeing all of you again and being away from the cursed Tower of Isengard. Merry didn't mean any harm."
