Elrohir's steps were heavy and remorse as slowly he moved through the father's halls, while his thoughts were weary, and his eyes were sad.
Five long days had passed and Elrohir didn't see his brother since he had disappeared that morning, and alone he went to the borders. Elrohir had followed him behind, but Elladan had told him to go back because he wanted to be alone.
Elrohir couldn't understand his brother at all. Why was he acting so strange? Week ago he was happy to comfort his brother, and to hold him close, but now everything seemed strange between them and Elrohir didn't know what was happening.
Elrohir was on his way to meet a new company that was coming from the Western Mirkwood and this time his brother wouldn't be there by his side. They were always together on these occasions but Elrohir now felt all alone; alone and abandoned, without his sibling.
He knew that he needed to set some things right with his brother and he needed to do it soon, before all of the brotherly care would cease to exist between them.

Elrond was nervous. He was standing on the crowded courtyard, looking at the distance and waiting to meet a people who were a part of Arthon's household. Arthon's ex-wife was coming too, and he knew that this would be a weirdest meeting he would ever have in his long lifetime. He didn't want to be here at all, and he was risking a great deal by leaving Erestor and Glorfindel alone in their weak state.
Their condition remained stable when he was with them, but he couldn't help but worry about his friends. Their bond was weak and they were too stubborn to stay put at one place.
Beside Elrond, stood his future husband, who seemed unusually quiet and had worry written on his face. Elrond wondered what was wrong with the other elf. Was he worried about Erestor? Arthon's behavior was strange even for Elrond and Elrond decided to ask him if something was wrong.
Elrond didn't remain at that thought for too long, because in the distance he could hear a horse hooves and the hushed conversations of the strange elves.
His eyes were upon the path and there he could make out the silhouettes of the elves coming toward them. Riding in the front of the company was a she-elf and a young warrior with the blond hair and Elrond almost fell down the steps when he recognized the one person from that company.
Tidew, a maiden he used to know and a daughter of Prince Rewilon, was that person he had recognized. The former Lady of the Arthon's house was the same person he used to know as a child and the person who was once his only female friend. Elrond's heart could have wept from joy, because he had thought her to be dead all those years that passed.
With a few more quick steps he found himself going toward her horse and noticing him, Tidew had abruptly jumped from the horse, closing the remaining distance between them on the foot.
"Elrond, my friend. Is that you?" Her loose blonde hair, waved around her as she took the other elf into the hug, laughing from the joy she felt at this meeting.
"Tidew, you are alive." He said and he took her hand into his grasp, trying so hard to make believe that this is true.
"Yes, yes I am. But I've been married to this dead beat for a thousand years, so I've been moving around a lot. I've tried to send you a letter, and to tell you that I am alive, but the life I was having with Arthon made it so hard to do." Tidew tried to explain to her friend why she had lost contact with him, and she couldn't tell him a real reason why she avoided meeting him all those years ago.
She felt guilty because she had married an Elrond's true love and she knew that Elrond would hate her because of that. That's why she had schemed this plan to bring Elrond and Arthon together, and all those years she had spent exactly doing that. With a little help of Galadriel, they had made an honor-bidden contract from which there was no escape.
"I understand, Tidew. I am so glad to see you amongst the living." Elrond said and he hugged her with the more strength, thanking the Gods that he got to see her once again.
"What is going on over here." Arthon voice was full of the confusion and he scratched his head; trying so hard to understand what was this all about. Why was Elrond hugging his ex-wife? Was there something going on between them? He thought.
He saw that Tidew was clad in the manner of the male-elven warrior and he knew that since they had divorced, her everlasting free spirit had come to it's full force. Sometimes he wondered if Tidew was born having a wrong sex, because since she drew her first breath Tidew matched nothing to the lady like manner. That was what he had liked about her when he had married her; because she was a lady who had no fear to act manly and to wield a sword just like the Rohan Shieldmaiden. But the only thing he couldn't feel for her was a love and he knew that it was because his love was taken long time ago.
"Well, well Arthon. It is so nice to see you confused, even if it's just for this once." Tidew turned to her ex-husband and she grinned at him; moving her attention to the company behind her.
Behind her stood a young warrior of the eight hundred summers, his eyes enchantingly blue as his fathers and his stance and poise almost matched the Arthon's own. But there was something that separated Arthon's son from the Arthon. Minan, the Arthon's son, had a friendly expression on his face, and his blue eyes were lit with the smile as he came forward to meet Elrond.
"Elrond, this here is my son Minan." Tidew introduced her son to Elrond and the other elf bowed to the Arthon's son; noticing that Minan almost had a striking resemblance to his mother.
"Nice to meet you Lord Elrond. I hear that you have a twin sons and one daughter. It would be lovely to meet them, because I never saw an elven twins before." Elrond's mouth were opened from the shock, as he heard the other elf speaking. He realized that Arthon's son was just like his mother, and that his attitude was calm and gentle, just like the Tidew's.
"Welcome, Minan, Son of Arthon. This over here is Elrohir my youngest, but I must excuse my oldest son's lack of presence. He is on the borders today and I think you will make his acquaintance tonight at the dinner. Regarding Arwen, I must apologize to you, but she is with her Grandmother in the Lothlorien and she won't be back till the next summer." Elrond smiled at the blonde haired elf and he saw that Elr had had already approached the Arthon's son, starting a light conversation with him.
"If there is nothing here to discuss any further, I suggest we continue all of this at the dinning table. I am famished and I think that a *snake-tounge* would like to refresh her lady-self from her long journey." Arthon was the one who had interrupted all the chattering around him and he turned to his ex-wife, waiting for her to add an insult to her reply.
"Of course, I almost forgot about my manners. Let's away, your rooms are ready for you." Elrond said and Tidew took him under an elbow, passing her bewildered ex-husband at her wake. She knew that Arthon had wondered how Elrond and her knew each other, and she knew that she would explain all of it in the proper time. She was overjoyed to see her old friend again and she knew that nothing could keep her from her friend's side, no matter what comes and goes in the future.

"What in the name of Vala.." Stinah's tired body registered that something was odd with the Haldir's room as he encountered a numerous burning candles flickering on every corner of the small room, and the scent of lavender spreading around the small space. In the middle of the room was located a medium sized table, made of the finest oak tree and colored with the maroon color. The chairs were of the same build and color and on the table he could see an elegant tableware and dinner ware, with the two entries laying beside the wine glasses. His heart stopped beating as he realized that maybe Haldir was expecting someone tonight and that he hade ade a dinner for two, with the goal to seduce some unfortunate elf. Stinah was back from the borders and the last thing he needed to know or to see was Haldir, trying to get into the someone else's leggings.
"Oh you are here. Valar, this is supposed to be surprise." Haldir entered a room and he was carrying the two bottles of wine, and Stinah gasped as he saw how handsome Haldir looked at that moment. Haldir was wearing a blue colored tunic, as the light blue leggings were covering a Haldir's muscular legs.
"Surprise for who." Semar insecurely asked.
"Surprise for you." Haldir replied and he ushered the other one inside, leaving a two bottles of the strongest wine on the table.
