CH 36~An old past is returned to Middle earth.
The Warg Rider that Haldir killed earlier lay dead next to her and with the strength her body gave she squirmed over to it. She only had enough time to turn around and kill the Orc.
But he blocked it and picked her body up like a rag doll.
He gave her a hard stare, “You shall die…” The Orc stated.
She screamed has those words rang through her mind. The blade tried to pierce her abdominal area as she knew that death would be upon her very soul but she recalling the Elven material Lord Elrond had given her before she left Rivendell.
Jenny jumped down from the rocking horse when she heard her friend’s screams. She bolted over slicing through many Orc’s and could not get to Chrissy.
Orlando screamed out when he saw the blade plunge into her stomach area and pushed his way over to where the Orc had Chrissy pinned against a tree.
The Orc was shocked, “What is this…my blade has not pierced through your skin,” as he yanked the chain metal.
He ripped her top off as the Orc saw the shining metal that stopped the sword and he pulled the Elven mental off of her body. This left her in only a camisole and her bra. In that stunned moment, a blade came through his chest and the beast screamed in pain.
But in that final moment of his passing he threw the Maiden up against the tree with all his strength causing her bones to be crushed. Then he fell to his death after knowing that the blow would eventually kill the maiden.
Chrissy felt her body slam up against the tree and the bones in side of her, snapped into a million pieces. She felt Orlando next to her as the light was fading from her eyes.
It convulsed when her body hit the tree and then back down to the ground. Orlando rushed over to where Chrissy laid and watched as her body trembled with terror.
He slid down next to her, “I have failed you…” Orlando cried.
Chrissy’s eyes focused on him, “It…was…a…risk…I took…to save you.”
She was broken inside knowing that saving the life that grew inside of was the most important thing. But her eyes over shadowed with darkness as she felt her life slipping from her very lungs and knew that death was approaching.
Slowly it was coming as she screamed out, “I’M DYING,” as the pain ripped through her small frame.
Orlando felt her screams as he she yelled out the misery of death was nearing her door step. Nothing could be done to help her as he watched her began to die in his arms, slowly. Then he recalled the child that grew in her womb and once again he called out to the heavens.
Orlando cried out, “By the Valar…save her…and my unborn…I beg of you!!” Tears streamed down his face.
Haldir knew that the worst had come and noticed Jenny in the distance trying to make her way over to Chrissy. She was going to need help and he came up with a plan to buy her the time to make over to her friend.
With his fast thinking, he climbed up in the trees and swung down from a vine. He jumped off of it and began to clear a path as he shot several dead.
Jenny ducked as she flashed Haldir a smile. She looked over to see Chrissy on the ground…broken and Orlando weeping over her body. She bolted over and skidded to the ground.
She saw that Chrissy was dying and took a hold of her hand. Jenny felt the coldness of her hand as life was leaving her body.
She felt the pain, “Orlando, let her go and give her to me. I can save her…” Jenny requested.
Orlando gazed up through the tears that fogged his vision to see Jenny speaking to him. He looked upon her as he gave the woman he loved over as she requested.
Threw his foggy vision, “What are you going to do?” The broken Orlando asked.
Jenny smiled, “Give her life...She will live.”
Then Jenny gazed over upon Legolas as she smiled at him. She knew that being his, made her extremely happy and wanted nothing more than to see her very best friend with the same kind of happiness.
Legolas caught her glimpse as he took care of the last few Orc’s that were left from the band that snuck up on them. He smiled back knowing that she was about to heal her friend. Then it dawned on him why Haldir brought Jenny with him.
She closed her eyes and began to heal Chrissy’s broken body. The light that poured from the both of them could be seen for miles as it not only healed them but healed middle earth from evil.
The ground began to shake as the two were lifted into the air and a voice broke from the sky.
“What was broken shall be healed and what was lost is now found. These two gave there life to save another and for that they shall live.”
Haldir, Orlando and Legolas stood in aw of the Valar who so graciously spared there lives.
Chrissy felt life flowing through her once again as her breath entered her lungs and her eyes awoke in a white room. She looked over to see Jenny awaking on the other bed next to her bed.
Jenny’s eyes adjusted from the brightness of the light that was in the room and sat up in the bed to see her friend alive.
She looked around as she asked, “Are we dead?”
In shock, she replied, “I don’t know.” Chrissy answered.
Then two set of shadows appeared in front of them. The first ones walked over to Jenny and the second set walked over by Chrissy’s bed.
Fear came over her, “Show your selves.” Chrissy asked.
Then, they both realized that it was there parents as there faces began to take form. They both jumped up out of the bed and hugged them.
Chrissy and Jenny were speechless as they stood there completely memorized by the sight of there parents.
Gazing upon them, “I have missed you, Ada and Desh’ mieve…” Tears streamed down Chrissy’s face.
Jenny was crying also when her parents embraced her with a hug. She could not believe that all her life she waited for this moment.
She finally answered, “You are not dead.” Queen Sainalinde said.
Questions filed her eyes, “Why are we here then?” Chrissy asked
Queen Sainalinde smiled and glanced over at Jenny’s mother, Queen Erwin as she answered, “Both of you have been granted one of two paths. Which one you both agree upon then that is where you will spend your lives. You may indeed stay in Middle Earth or continue on with your lives in the more modern world. Whatever you both decide, we will always be with you,” as she finished.
Chrissy turned to look at Jenny and they both knew where there hearts belonged. Just by there eyes, they were both on the same wave length when Jenny nodded over to her friend.
She turned back to her mother, “We have chosen.”
Then the whole room went dark and silent as the floor disappeared from under them. They started to spin as there souls left the holding place of time.
Something was happening when Legolas and Orlando watched to the two maidens transform. The shape of there ears had changed and grew more beautiful then they could have ever imagined.
Several hours went by and Chrissy slowly opened her eyes as they began to focus on the room. She moved around to see that Orlando had fallen asleep by her side.
As she moved her hand, it awoke Orlando and his eyes grew with happiness.
Happiness rained over him, “My luv, you came back to me.” Orlando stated.
Chrissy smiled, “I could not leave you to fade…I love you very much.”
The two kissed as they were overjoyed to see one another from such a terrible tragedy.
Legolas stayed awake throughout the night as he watched her sleep. He would not rest until she had awakened. Then, to his surprise, her body began to squirm as her eyes popped opened.
Jenny slowly began to open her eyes and when she did, Legolas was right there waiting on her to awake. She saw him smiling as tears gleamed in his eyes and she reached up to touch his face.
Her voice crackled a little, “I came back to you…” She stated with tears in her eyes.
Legolas just smiled and took her into his embrace as he kissed her lips. He waited for days to be able to feel her touch and to see her smiling face once again.
Weeks had gone by and the two women had no idea that they had changed back to there natural form. Chrissy had gotten up from the bed that she was in as she checked her hair and face.
Chrissy gazed into the mirror and was in shock for a moment. She could not believe how beautiful she had become and she noticed the ears. Her hands reached up to touch the pointy ears and she screamed out.
“What has happened to me?” Her eyes filled with tears.
