Chapter 35:
The next few days became routine. Study lines, avoid David, and await the arrival of Dom and Billy. I didn't have to wait very long. Friday came and I was getting ready to leave in my dressing room when I heard a heavy pounding knock at the door. My heart leapt in my throat and I wrapped a robe around me before walking to the door. "Yes?" I called.
"What did Pippin do when he got drunk?" I heard whispered loudly through the door.
I threw it open and jumped into Dom’s arms. "Dom!" I laughed. "Billy!" I smiled and gave him a hug as well, and pulled them inside and shut the door.
"Well it's good to see you too darling, but the answer was: 'He began to feel Merry'." Dom said with a grin.
I laughed. "I'm sorry to spoil your joke, but I was relieved that it was you two at my door and not someone else."
"Someone giving' ya trouble lass?" Billy asked.
"My costar, he's been creeping me out since day one. And with Elijah gone I'm glad you're here for a short while." I smiled, and looked at my watch. "It's half eight, why don't we go to this little cafe for dinner before heading back home."
"Sounds good, I'm famished." Dom said. "All I've had today are a handful of chips and a few lollipops."
"Wow." I said. "So...can you two leave for a bit? Just stand outside, don't have to go anywhere."
"Why?" Dom asked.
"Because I need to get dressed, and there are two men in my room." I smiled sweetly and ushered them towards the door. "I'll be right out."
"Awe...but Elijah said to make sure you were well taken care of!" Dom flashed a cheeky grin, but failed to see the open door and hit his head on it.
I laughed, "Well who's going to take care of you then?"
Billy sighed dramatically, "That'd be me I think." He gave me a quick hug, "We'll be right outside. C'mon you wanker." He guided the scowling Dom out the door, and handed him a lollipop.
"YAY!" was the last thing I heard before the door shut.
