Summary: What happened after all good elfling go to sleep

"Good Eve, my little star-shadow. It is time for all good elflings to go to sleep." Oropher stated as he watched in amusement as his son tried to fight off to stay awake.
"But, Ada I am not Sleepy. I want to stay up with you." Thranduil sullenly replied as he sat in his bed pouting with his arms crossed over his chest as he huffed.
Shaking his head Oropher paused as he watched Thranduil once again protest his bed time. It was the same every night without fail and every night Thranduil lost the battle to the need of sleep.
"Now, ion-nin. We have been over this before ad you know the answer. Now lay down so I can tuck you in and bid you good night."
"Ok, ada." Sighed Thranduil as he laid down and wiggled a little.
"See that was not so hard, now was it." Oropher replied as he made sure Thranduil was thoroughly tucked in before laying a kiss on his son's left cheek.
"Ada?"
"Yes, Ion-nin." Oropher replied as he turned around.
"I Love You."
"I love you too, Ion-nin...now go to sleep." Oropher smiled as he silently shut the door to his sons room. His son could be good when he felt like it.
Crossing the hall to his room Oropher entered quickly as he took off his crown and place it in the box that resided on his dresser. As he slipped out of his formal robs, Oropher snatched his brush as he tried to tame the tangles that seem to appear out of no where.
"Your late, and being late is very bad manners." Oropher stated as he continued to run the brush through his long golden-silver locks.
"I apologize I was detained by some important business." Cirdan replied as he took a seat in one of the empty chair next to the fire place.
"So how is the little Prince?"
“He is doing quiet well, I have not had to punish him for his behavior in over a week it seems, maybe more.”
"That is wonderful, so did he protest his bed time for the umpteenth time."
Placing his brush down Oropher turned to Cirdan who was currently relaxed in one of the chairs next to the inviting fire.
"Why of course, if would not be a normal evening if he did not, but then again this time he did not really argue that much. Most likely he was too tired. Although it was a nice change. I highly doubt that it continue."
"And how is your... Queen?"
Snapping his head in Cirdan direction he scowled. He really did want think of that 'lovely elleth' was up to
"At the moment I do not know, not do I care." Oropher Snarled.
"I see...and what did she do this time?"
"I believe her latest scheme is to try and turn my son against me. Well she has another thing coming for her, for it well not work."
"Mmm... Well no one ever said she was the sharpest tool in the shed."
"Where the heck did you get that from!?!?"
"I believe I heard it from a passing group of travelers, and the term does fit your wife Oropher."
"Enough about my 'lovely wife;, I do believe that you can use that mouth of yours in an more productive manner." Oropher purred.
"Oh really is that so..."
"Yes, it is" Oropher replied as he plopped down into Cirdan's lap causing Cirdan's eyes to bulge out slightly.
"Mmm....I believe I shall show one productive use of your mouth." Oropher muttered against Cirdan's lips before claiming them in a slow tender kiss which seemed to last forever, before they broke apart to catch much needed air.
"Meleth..."
"Mmm."
"Would you do something for me." Oropher stated as he trailed kisses up Cirdan's ear.
"Mmm..."
"Would you please get rid of the beard, it feels scruffy against my skin." Stated Oropher as he chuckled at look of shock on Cirdan's face.
"I love you Cirdan, but I am not to crazy about your...beard"
Oropher smiled, he had just accomplished something that no one else had ever down before. He had render Cirdan speechless. Chuckling softly he once captured Cirdan's lips in another tender kiss.
Today might have started out horrible, but it ended out extremely wonderful.

4. OK this story has taken me an entire month and half to write it. I am sorry to say that I have probably cursed Oropher's and Cirdan's name down and back again. It does not mean I do not love the elves in the story, it was just that I was annoyed with the story coming to an complete blank, not halt, but blank. Now that I am finally done with this story I actually hope to maybe do this pairing again sometime, but to soon.
