Chapter 3

Legolas had been riding through the forest until the sun was starting to come down. He arrived at the palace stables and said goodnight to his horse and then headed to the castle. Once inside he went straight up to his chambers to clean up for dinner which was only in an hours time.

“I know what you are saying my son but soon you will need an heir of your own and by doing so you must wed even if I still rain as king one day you will take my place and I want to be here to make sure you have an heir for the throne after you and to know that Mirkwood will have another ruler and keep our kingdom in peace and prosperity” Thranduil told him “yes father” Elion replied in a very low tone.

Once the prince was dismissed he saw Saish waiting for him outside “you heard it all didn’t you” Elion asked “yes I am sorry to ears drop but I was walking past when I suddenly heard your father talking to you about marriage” Saish dropped his head to the floor. Elion walked up to his lover and brought his chin up so then Saish was looking at him.

“Do not worry your self my beloved for what ever happens in the future even if I have to get married know this that I will love you more than anything else because you are the one I am bounded to and that I want to spend the rest of my immortal life with, love will conquer all obstacles even if one of those are my father” Elion then kissed Saish making sure no one was in the corridor to see them.
