Chapter 3

Chapter 3

Two weeks had passed since the night that Glorfindel gave Erestor an open invitation for a shared game of chess. Though the opportunity had yet to present itself, the offer still stood.

Glorfindel found himself running into Elrond’s chief counselor more often than not of late, though actually, it was the same amount as before. For some reason though, Glorfindel seemed to notice Erestor more.

Erestor walked with his purposeful stride down the halls of Imladris. He was feeling a bit nervous, for he was hoping that his plan for this night would go as intended. Rounding a corner near the kitchen, he found himself bumping into a sweaty blonde warrior. Startled, Glorfindel’s hand automatically went to steady Erestor before he fell, grasping a slim hip.

"Whoa there Erestor, are you alright?" asked a surprised Glorfindel.

"Y-Yes, quite all right," blushed Erestor moving out of Glorfindel’s grasp. "Forgive me, I wasn’t looking where I was going," he added.

"Nay, no harm done," smiled the warrior as he continued on his way to his rooms to bathe.

"Glorfindel," Erestor called after the captain, "May I have a word with you?"

"You may have as many as necessary," teased Glorfindel coming closer to the advisor. Erestor actually smiled.

"Can you convince Carandhol to come straight to our quarters tonight before heading to the dining hall; I- I need to discuss something important with him." Erestor fidgeted with the hem of his sleeve nervously, "you see, I sent a note to him this morn and he has yet to send a messenger back with his reply."

"Of course Erestor, consider it done" Glorfindel replied easily to the visibly nervous advisor.

"Thank you," Erestor blushed faintly as he stepped out of sight.

Glorfindel nodded in reply and then continued once more to his much-needed bath. While soaking in his tub, Glorfindel thought on the chance meeting with Erestor in the hall. It was odd; he had remembered a messenger coming into their office that morning handing a letter to his second in command. Carandhol had read it and smirked, then put it on the top of his huge pile of reports on his overly crowded desk. He shook his head at the way Carandhol treated his husband.

Glorfindel met up with Carandhol as he was coming from the stables. "I have a message for you Cara, from Erestor," stated Glorfindel into his friend’s questioning eyes.

"What does he want?" asked the redheaded captain.

"He wishes for you to meet him in your quarters before the evening meal."

"I will see him at dinner."

"No, no, he was adamant that you meet with him before," Glorfindel stressed. "He has something important to discuss with you."

Carandhol sighed in annoyance; "I will meet up with you later?"

"Aye," replied Glorfindel as they went to the main house together, chatting about the day.

Erestor had worked hard on his surprise for Carandhol. They were growing further apart every passing year and Erestor desperately wanted to mend that breach. As a result, this night, on their wedded anniversary, he was hoping to change all of that.

Carandhol, already annoyed at having the change to his evening routine, walked briskly to their quarters. Opening the door, he surveyed the room, and sighed heavily. The room was filled with fragrant roses and candles burned on various surfaces about their sitting room, giving off a sensual warm yellow glow. A table had been set for two with a fine gauzy tablecloth upon which was lain fine bone dishes. A sideboard had been brought in with an array of food on it, all of Carandhol’s favorites. A bottle of a rare vintage of white wine, which Erestor had acquired from Lothlorien, was sitting on ice next to two intricately carved mithril wine goblets.

Upon hearing the door open, Erestor walked into the sitting room, near sick in his stomach with nervousness. He smiled at Carandhol whilst coming closer to his husband. Carandhol watched Erestor with slight interest. Erestor’s hair was loose about him and brushed to a gleaming shine of ebony. He wore only crimson silk sleep pants that fell low on his hips; his smooth chest, as well as his delicate feet were left bare to view.

"What is all this Erestor?" Asked a clueless warrior.

Erestor gulped down his disappointment at Carandhol, "It is a surprise for our anniversary, my husband." He smiled once more.

"Oh, I see," replied Carandhol. As he moved to the sideboard and surveyed the offerings, he turned back to Erestor, "we can not let this food go to waste then can we?"

Erestor started to relax, letting out a breath that he had not realized he was holding in. He told Carandhol to sit, serving him the food and wine.

They ate in silence for quite awhile… The silence was deafening.

"Did you receive my note this morn?" Erestor asked trying desperately to start conversation.

"Aye."

"Did Glorfindel deliver my message?"

"Am I not here?"

"H-How was your day?"

"Fine."

"Are you enjoying the wine?" Erestor hoped.

"Aye."

"Cook out did herself, did she not?"

"Aye."

Silence.

More silence.

"Oh, I have a gift for you," said Erestor as he jumped up to retrieve a package that he had placed on the couch earlier.

Carandhol stood and followed Erestor. He handed the beautifully wrapped package to his husband. Carandhol pulled at the crimson bow, it falling open to reveal a pair of soft brown leather pants and a dark green tunic, intricately embroidered with golden thread about the neck, hem and sleeves. Carandhol turned the clothes around to view them better.

"Do you like them?" asked Erestor as he bit his bottom lip.

"Green?" he said with slight disproval.

"I-I think you look handsome in green, it brings out your eyes," he whispered looking directly into his husband’s emerald green eyes.

Carandhol just shrugged his shoulders in reply.

Erestor looked down at the floor. This night was growing steadily worse. "I just wished to please you."

Sighing heavily, Carandhol came closer to Erestor and took his hand.

"There is a way you can please me," he grinned, placing Erestor’s hand on his prominent arousal.

"On your knees, now!" Carandhol commanded in a husky voice.

Erestor looked up at his husband and did as he was told.

"Pleasure me with your sweet mouth," Carandhol crooned, as he immediately grew even more aroused at the sight of the beautiful elf in front of him, on his knees.

Erestor began to unlace Carandhol’s leggings, allowing his arousal to spring free. Carandhol moaned and grabbed his throbbing member, rubbing it along Erestor’s face, across those ruby lips and across his cheeks. "Do you want this?" he crooned. "Hmn?"

"Yes," Erestor whispered.

"I can not hear you!"

"Yes." Erestor said louder.

"Suck it!" he hissed.

Erestor gently took his husband’s elf-hood in his mouth. Carandhol moaned loudly. Erestor ran his tongue around the swollen head and into the dripping slit. "Mmnnn," that’s it, he sighed, as he took hold of Erestor’s hair in two fistfuls and thrust forcefully. Erestor almost gagged at the sudden change in pace. Carandhol pulled painfully hard at Erestor’s hair setting his grueling pace.

This pace continued on for what seemed like forever to Erestor. Shifting his knees to try to get to a more comfortable position, he slipped, making his teeth graze the sensitive underside of Carandhol’s member a little too hard.

"Dammit! Erestor!" hissed Carandhol. He then bent his body down and took hold of the back of Erestor’s neck, forcing the advisor to not let go.

"Make me come!" he yelled.

Erestor had tears in his eyes from the strain on his neck, lower back and knees. He lost himself within the sensation and begged to the Valar for Carandhol’s release.

Almost immediately, Carandhol started to stiffen, coming in bursts of hot seed down Erestor’s throat. Erestor coughed in the midst of the suddenness of it. Carandhol groaned loudly and then pulled away.

"Elbereth that was good." He smirked.

Erestor stood shakily and Carandhol gave him a hand to help him up.

Entering the bathroom to throw water on his face, and despite how sore he felt, he still hoped to make love with Carandhol. Carandhol came into the bathroom as well and cleaned himself off.

Erestor moved closely to him and put his arms around his husband, snuggling his head into that hard muscled chest. Carandhol rolled his eyes unseen and patted Erestor on the back. Erestor lifted his head for an expectant kiss. Carandhol lowered his head and gave him a kiss on those ruby lips. Erestor tried to deepen the kiss, wanting to feel loved, wanting to feel special to his husband; but Carandhol did not allow the kiss to deepen, instead he just stepped away,... turning his head as he did so.

"Make love to me," Erestor whispered into the warrior’s ear.

"Later," Carandhol replied as he kissed the top of Erestor’s head and went into the sitting room.

Erestor was understanding; since Carandhol had found his release, he would have to wait a little bit until they could resume their celebrations.

Erestor walked into the sitting room and abruptly stopped. He could not believe what he was seeing. Carandhol was heading out the door!

"Where are you going?" asked Erestor with hurt in his voice.

"To the Hall of Fire," he answered, as if Erestor was daft.

"I thought we would spend the night together."

"I'll be back later."

"It is our anniversary," stressed Elrond’s advisor.

"Yes, and we celebrated it!" Carandhol rolled his eyes and left.

Erestor just stared after the closed door in shock, sinking to his knees once again.
