Getting out of bed
Disclaimer-I don’t own, or claim to own any of the Lord of the Rings characters, they are all of Tolkien’s brilliance. However, Elbereth ,even though the name belongs to Tolkien, her traits and personality and some minor characters (such as servants, travelers, etc...) are mine.
Ch.3-Getting out of bed
“Up, Meleth, time to awake, the sun is already up” Arwen said making an attempt to wake up Aragorn.
Aragorn was fully awake, but he didn’t want to get up, so he lay in bed, perfectly still, making it seem asleep, he hoped.
Arwen went over to Aragorn’s side of the bed and shook him gently “meleth, get up”
Aragorn made no move
“Fine, stay that way” a now frustrated Arwen said
‘Fine,I will’ Aragorn thought to himself.
“Last chance” Arwen threatened.
Aragorn still did not move, at least until a pitcher of water was poured on him, then he sat up and quickly got out of bed, now soaked with water.
“What the..? Why did you do that?!” Aragorn said, looking at her angrily
Arwen set the pitcher down and smiled “I told you, that that was your last chance, next time you’ll learn to listen to me, we go through this every year, now go and get ready, before I find something else to pour on you” she said sternly.
Aragorn sighed and went to wash up and get dressed
“And don’t forget to put on your ‘kingly’ clothes today” Arwen reminded him
“Yes, mother” he returned sarcastically.
