Arminas looked at him and said, “It’s not my fault your ‘wife’ wants me more than you.”
Haldir’s blood was boiling, his eyes showed his anger clearly. He looked at Arminas and said, “Step back”
Legolas looked at Haldir and said, “It’s not true, I did not want him, you know that”
Haldir looked at Legolas and all of his anger melted away, he smiled and said, “I know love, I know”
Arminas laughed and said, “You honestly believe the little whore? He begged me to take him and I just happily took care off his wishes”
Legolas felt some tears trickle down his cheeks and shook his head, saying softly “that’s not true, I didn’t”
Haldir’s anger rose again; he stood in front of Arminas in just two seconds heldheld a firm grip on his neck.
Arminas’ feet bungled in the air, he said with a squeaky voice, “Please, put me down”
Haldir chuckled and said, “Legolas, please get dressed and return to the others, I have to teach him a lesson and I don’t want you to see it, you will not like it if you see”
Legolas pouted but did what Haldir said, thinking that most of the time Haldir was right.
Haldir waited till he was sure Legolas had left and threw Arminas hard on the ground and immediately had a knife on his throat and said in a growling tone, “You tried to harm my wife, now you will suffer the consequences of your actions. Do you have anything to say for yourself?”
Arminas looked at him, knowing he had to chose his words carefully if he wanted to have a chance to survive and said, “I-I couldn’t help myself, he…there was pure lust in his eyes, I couldn’t resist.”
Haldir pressed the knife harder on his throat and said, “I believe you know better than to lie to me, you’ve already seen were it leads you”
Arminas looked down, knowing that he wasn’t going to make it, no matter what it was he’d say and said, “Just do it quickly”
Haldir let out a low chuckle and said, “You’re afraid to die? Afraid that I’m going to kill you?”
Arminas snorted and said, “What do you want from me, I’m sorry but I cannot change what happened, not even if I wanted to”
Haldir looked at him and said, “Want…I don’t ‘want’ anything from you except to see you suffer and then die for your betrayal”
Arminas looked at him and said, “Get it over with then”
Haldir smiled and pulled him up by his hair and tossed him hard against a tree. He could hear some bones breaking.
Arminas winched and cried at the pain.
Haldir walked to him and punched him hard in the face.
Arminas nose started bleeding and blood emerged from his mouth as well.
Haldir unsheathed his sword and cut Arminas’ chest open in a very slow movement.
Arminas’ chest burned with the pain, blood seeping from the enormous cut, he could feel the life flowing out of him in a slow hurtful way.
Haldir glared at him, anger was to be seen in his eyes.
Arminas looked at him and said, “Please…don’t kill me…I couldn’t help myself, he’s so beautiful”
Haldir smiled at that and said, “I know he is…” his smiled faded as he continued, “…but it was your mistake to be wanting to take advan of of that…and for that you’ll die”
Arminas closed his eyes when he saw Haldir raising his sword for the last time and the last thing he saw was the sword coming down before his head was chopped off.
Haldir buried him and made sure no blood was on him and wen went back to the others.
