Secrets
It had been a week since Celeborn had awoken in the healing rooms. He had been moved to his and Heidi's chambers where he would be com comfortable. The clean up and repair of Mirkwood was still going on and Legolas and Denise were right in the middle of it all. Denise had helped with the wounded and mg sug sure the gardens were re planted. Her home was now Mirkwood and she made sure she helped out in any way possible. When they hadn't heard from Celeborn in awhile Haldir and Rumil rode to Mirkwood. They were upset that Heidi didn't tell them about his injuries and made little effort to hide their annoyance.
"You could have at least told us!" Haldir said the first time they got her alone in the storage room.
"He was dying and I wasn't thinking about informing anyone at the time." she hissed angrily.
"We are his sons! We have been sick with worry about both of you." Rumil snapped.
"I am his wife and he comes first I am sorry I didn't inform you both. I'm sorry you had to worry about us." Heidi said as she left the room.
Haldir and Rumil made their way to where Celeborn was resting. When they entered Celeborn smiled and beckoned them in.
"Oh Ada we were so worried when you didn't send any word." Rumil said as he sat on the bed.
Celeborn sighed and ran his finger's through his son's hair in a loving manner.
"I know you both are upset that Heidi didn't send word but she was busy. Please try and understand." he said softly.
Haldir nodded and smiled. "We will forgive her but we did worry."
"You always worry Haldir." Celeborn teased his middle child.
Haldir sat next to the bed and they filled in Celeborn in on all the latest news and gossip.

Heidi ran to the nearest bathing chamber and she grabbed up a chamber pot. She threw up everything she had eaten that morning. Shaking she wiped her mouth and summoned a servent to take the pot away. Trembling she stood and sat on a bench, this was the fourth time this week she had vomited. Was she sick? Heidi sighed and stood once the shaking had subsided. She left ans she went down to the gardens where she was sure Denise was. Sure enough Denise was planting rows upon rows of plants and crops. Smiling Heidi dropped to her knees in the dirt.
"Need help?" she asked her best friend.
"No this is not a task fitted for the lady of the golden wood." Denise winked as she teased her old friend.
"Please like it's fit for a Queen of Mirkwood?" Heidi said as she started planting.
"I am not Queen yet, not till King Thranduil steps down and gives it to Legolas." Denise pointed out.
Heidi nodded and they worked in a companionable silence. Untill Heidi told Denise about her odd sickness. Denise stopped and stared at Heidi for a few minutes before replying.
"I know of what you speak. Legolas and I have only been bonded for a week and a half but after our first time...you know I started to get sick also. I believe we are pregnant." Denise whispered to Heidi.
"No way!" Heidi said her eyes wide but as she thougt about it, it made sense. "Have you told Legolas yet?"
"No because I want to be sure. Lord Elrond is coming here in a few days I will ask him not these healers I do not know if they can keep a secret. Have you told Celeborn?" Denise asked.
"Nay I to was waiting for Lord Elrond." Heidi admitted.
Denise nodded and they agreed to keep each others secrets for the time being. They went back to planting and changed topics quickly in case anyone was listeing in on them.
