Erestor found that the days following their return form the wilds had been extremely busy. Aside form having Glorfindel in his bed at night Erestor had found himself to be extra busy in the library dealing with the everyday running of Elronds realm. Having Lindir give his resignation had been rather unexpected, but it had taken him less than half a day to discern that the shy young minstrel and part time assistant was sleeping with the Lord and Master of Imladris. It was truly shocking what could happen over the course of one week.
Added to this was the endeavor of keeping his new relationship with Glorfindel secret, something which he had to admit had failed miserably, with Elrond walking in on them fooling around in the library. Naturally after that all of Imladris and the surrounding settlements had known, but he had to admit that aside from all the teasing and whispered comments things were turning out just fine.
Glancing up from his desk to judge the position of the sun Erestor smiled and began to clean away his papers and quills. Glorfindel would be returning shortly and he needed to return to his rooms, technically their rooms now, to give him a proper greeting. Walking through the corridor he reflected on how a week in the wilds with his nemesis could have such a profound and wonderful effect on his life. Shaking his head Erestor entered his rooms and bean to speculate on the possibilities of a fairy tale happy ending; after all he had already found his prince charming in a golden haired Balrog slayer.
