Gingitsune - Thank you very much for your kind suport...and I agree
with your comment about attitudes and how the world is today...But, I
guess that is the way of things. As far as your comment on the
chapter...heheeh I will have to burst your thought bubble and say nope,
this aint an mpeg...*Sigh*...I will be doing another one of those but
not in this story...and my day was not spoiled, Ive been out of high
school for a long time...:)

Diane - You had a very valid point in your Q to anonymous...I
personally don't understand the not putting a name to the review...I
mean really, if your going to say something like that, put your name to
it. And for your other comments...I am really happy that you are
entertained, laugh, cry, and come to love the characters...the whole
reason I started writing was for the enjoyment of doing it because so
many other authors made ME laugh, cry, and be entertained and
such...and as far as the painter is concernd...you will actually find
out who that is later...Thank you for your love and support and no, I
aint going anywhere...:)

Thranduil looked over and sighed heavily "I will be blunt ion-nin, how
was your...err...first night with Elrond, are you alright?"

Legolas blushed and took a deep breath "He was very gentle adar, and
this morning I woke to find him just starring at me and smiling. I...I
think this bond will work out alright, I will do my best to make sure
of that".

Thranduil nodded and tilted his head "I have come to learn that Elronds
true preference is males so what you did was actually beneficial to
Mirkwood and this new alliance, how did you learn of his preference
ion?"

The prince smiled and explained about Elronds assistance with his
initiating Faren and then his discussion with Glorfindel and Erestor
the night before the bonding.

The elven king frowned and narrowed his eyes "You...you broke into
Erestors study?".

Legolas swallowed hard and lowered his gaze "Nai adar...saes, do not be
angry, Erestor forgave me when he realized why I was there and that
there was no ill intent on my part".

Thranduil shook his head and sighed "Ion, your sister was groomed for
centuries to take her place by Elronds side and represent Mirkwood in
the best possible light...You are now in her position and must remember
that your actions...these Noldorien elves are Very curious about us
because of our reclusive nature, they will be watching you closely,
your actions will speak volumes, do you understand what I am saying
Legolas".

The prince slowly nodded his lowered gaze "Nai adar".

The king rubbed the back of his neck and frowned as it cracked and then
sighed "Go to your mate now Legolas...and do Everything and Anything he
wants. You are His mate. You belong to Him. Never tell him nay and Do
Not displease him ion".

After Legolas left the dining hall, he returned to his and Elronds
chamber, noticed the chocolates on the table, grabbed the box, then sat
down on the floor in front of the fireplace.

Elrond finished the sleeping draft he was making for Erestor, then
suddenly felt a shudder pass through his body and closed his eyes.
After a few moments, he reopened them and turned to one of his healers
"Take this to Glorfindel and Erestors chamber, and tell Glorfindel that
he must
finnish every drop".

As Elrond rushed down the hall toward his chamber, he came upon his
sons and yelled out "Boys!"

The twins turned and worried their brows in seeing that their father
was obviously distressed ""Nai Adar?""

The elven lord gave both of them a deep hug, then sighed "I need to be
with Legolas, our bond is fragile right now and we should not be parted
for a time, he is young after all...and Erestor is in no condition to
work and Glorfindel needs to be by his side right now..."

The more their father spoke, the wider the twins eyes became and
Elladan finally blinked "You...you mean you want us to..."

Elrond smirked and arched his brow "I need for the both of you to run
Imladris, at least for a day or two".

The twins shuddered, then nodded as they stood tall ""Of course adar,
we will do our best"".

Elrond slowly entered his chamber, then heard a sniffle and glanced
over just in time to see Legolas pop a chocolate into his mouth and
wipe his eyes with his sleeve "Legolas?"

The prince jolted to standing and spun "Emromm", then quickly swallowed
the chocolate in his mouth and choked "El...Elrond".

Elrond chuckled and walked over "I see you found the chocolates...you
were weeping, what is wrong my dear?".

Legolas looked back to where he was sitting and cringed as he noticed
the mess he made and began to clean it up "Nothing of importance
Elrond".

The elven lord furrowed his brow as he watched Legolas try and clean up
and pulled him over, took the mess from his hands, and threw everything
right back to the floor "Nonsense, your adar kept you for a chat and
now you are distressed".

As Elrond pulled him into a hug, Legolas sighed into his chest and then
blurted out the lecture he had received. Elrond rolled his eyes and
gently rubbed his back "In your adars defense, he Is very stressed
right now. He is a king of a troubled land, and felt that the only way
to have an alliance with me was to force me to bond into his family.
Then you switch with your sister...I can understand his fears right
now...but your adar will calm and come around at some point..."

Elrond then lifted the princes chin with his finger and looked into his
eyes "Now...as far as your actions are concerned, everything you have
done, you have done with the noblest intentions. You were willing to
face your adars wrath and sacrifice your future for your sister. Nai
Legolas, your actions Do speak volumes...and I am impressed".
