Arthon is very ill tempered character. He changes his tempers every second and yes he would have killed that librarian if the other one even looked at him the wrong way. Guess why he didn't strangle Elrond when he questioned his nobility. It has to do something with the past. More will be revealed in the next chapies.
Oh, and Elladan and Elrohir will make an appearance in the next one.lol

*~*~*~!
"I don't know, Frien. That is why I am leaving that to you. You settled all those Lothlorien elves two days ago and I trust you can find a place for Arthon and his soldiers in this household too."
Erestor said with irritating voice when librarian asked him to help with arranging the rooms for Lord Arthon. Erestor didn't have any energy to take care of it himself because being away from Glorfindel for this time had made him tired.
Both of them, him and librarian were standing at the staircase of the Last Homely House, waiting for Arthon to make his appearance any minute that counted. They heard a horse hoofs and they assumed that the Arthon was just around the corner.
They saw him on his white horse, riding with around twenty men belonging to his service. His dark hair was braided in the warrior like fashion and he was dressed in black leggings and tunic.
His attire was not noble but his attitude rang of the pride and you could see that he was clearly leader of this group. He didn't wear any circlet around his head like Elrond did sometimes but only peace of jewelry he wore was the golden necklace, representing the seal of his house. His blue eyes scanned the surroundings and his handsome face carried the scowl, making his dislike visible on it.
He dismounted his white steed and he nodded for the others to do the same. He approached Erestor with the swift motion and he smiled a little as he saw his cousin standing there with some other unfamiliar person.
He looked to the left side expecting for Elrond to stand there but he found only empty space, wondering what was going on. Where was the Master of Imladris and why did his cousin stand there alone?
"Erestor, My dear cousin. How nice to see you again." Arthon said and he came toward the other dark elf giving him a small hug as he said his greetings.
"Same goes here, Arthon." Erestor gave heartily smile and he returned that hug with more emotion than the other one cared to give.
"Yes, it had been a while since I saw you last. You haven't changed a bit.You are still that scrawny little elf I used to know."
Erestor blushed as the chief librarian heard that remark and he grinned, but Erestor cut Frien's expression with his warning look.
"Well, you have changed, cousin. Look at you. You look ... different." Erestor said in a teasing voice and Arthon deeply chuckled making his army wonder what had provoked that playing mood that was showing on their Lord.
"Yes, we used to know each other well when we were children but that time of play had gone to waste. Now tell me. Where is Elrond? How come he is not welcoming me today to his realm. Is something amiss with him." Arthon asked as he raised his eyebrow in question and Erestor sighed as he was about to explain why Elrond was missing in the courtyard today.
"Yes, he is away today because one of his children is in the healing room and he couldn't be here today. Elladan his son has fallen sick and Elrond was with him all the time. I think he is taking the rest in his quarters and he apologizes for not being here today. Please understand these are a very tough times for him and he is very tired. I hope you will excuse his absence, cousin. He wanted to welcome you to Imladris himself but he was just too tired from everything that happened these previous days."
Erestor looked at the Arthon's change of expression and he wondered what the other elf was musing about. Erestor felt bad he had lied about Elrond's real reason for absence and he hoped he would settle his cousin down before Arthon would ask any more questions. Plus he was so determined to get back to his husband and he didn't have any time to waste right now.
"Oh, so he is not ignoring my presence. He is just exhausted." Arthon questioned again." Of course I can forgive him for that. All of us have bad days, and sometimes we just need to rest. I can grant him pardon for today." Arthon said in indifferent tone and he looked at his cousin who was fidgeting on the place.
"Erestor is something wrong with you. You seem like you don't want to be here. What is it with you people in Imladris? Can't you even welcome a person without doing it in a fast way." Arthon said with sarcasm in his voice and his soldiers laughed at that last remark, but that provoked the harsh glare coming from their Lord.
Arthon knew that the other one wanted to be somewhere else, and he had read it in his mind. Arthon was also known as being a mind reader and Erestor's vibrations had told him that the other one longed to be with someonse rse right now. He wasn't Galadriel when it came to the reading thoughts but every time he explored the minds, he knew exactly what the person he was dealing with was about.
"I...you guessed right, Arthon. Do not get me wrong, Arthon. I don't want to escape your company and I really am glad to see you, but I must inform you that I will be leaving you shortly too. You see, a lot a things happened while you didn't see me last and I must tell you this, so you would understand why I have to excuse myself. I am bonded with someone with the life force and that bond is new and fragile and I must return to the healing rooms in about a minute or so. Frien, the chief librarian will call the servants to settle your men, and he will show you the rooms where you will be staying."
Arthon just opened his mouth when he heard that his cousin got bonded to someone and he repeated that peace of information throughout his head. He never knew that Erestor would give his life to save someone else, or even the life force, but he was surprised to find out that Erestor had a kind mind.
"Of course, I shall be merciful again and I will excuse you too. But? I will expect the breakfast invitation from you tomorrow morning so I may meet your bonded." He gave a rare smile to Erestor and he pulled his cousin into the hug again and Erestor sighed in relief, not expecting for Arthon to be so understanding.
"I shall leave you now. Frien, will take you to your assigned room and I will certainly invite you to healing quarters tomorrow morning. I look forward spending some time with you cousin.
You have a lot to tell me about you and how you spent all those years I didn't see you. Till morrow then, cousin." Erestor tapped his cousin on the shoulder and he said his good-byes, retreating to his room as quickly as possible.
Arthon nodded to Erestor before he left and he turned himself around, meeting the curious gaze of the one who would show him his rooms.
"Follow me." These are the only words Frien said to the myth Lord as he started walking and he didn't even care to bow to the other elf. Arthon was not surprised that the other elf didn't acknowledge his title and he just kept his mouth shut before something would slip from them, something offending that would surely be about this realm and it's people.
Arthon's guards were left at the courtyard waiting for the servants to settle them in. Arthon stopped walking and the other tall elf opened the door of the room that was assigned to the Lord. Arthon peeked inside and his anger boiled up, not believing that the room he was supposed to be in, was so small and tasteless.
There was just one small bed laying in the center of the room and this room looked like it had belonged to one servant from Imladris. Arthon growled deep inside of his throat before his anger came splashing in the waves.
"What in the name Valar is this. Am I supposed to be staying in here." Arthon yelled at the librarian and the other one just nodded, knowing he had provoked the anger from this strange lord. Truthfully he didn't have any rooms to spare and this was only free room his mind came across when he thought about the Lord's settlement.
"Yes, my Lord. I am sorry, but I don't have any rooms to spare. The group from Lothlorien had taken all of the available rooms." Frien stuttered feeling that he might escape this elf any moment now and that angry gaze was very freighting for the one who possessed a gentle nature.
"Well, this just won't do. Listen, I am not going to take this foolishness no longer. I demand that you take me to your Lord's rooms this instant. I think he can arrange a proper settlement for me and I don't care how tired he is, I just won't be ignored. If you appreciate your head young one, you will take me to his rooms immediately." Arthon hissed and Fenir jumped at that tone, and he nodded because the words got stuck in his throat.
"Certainly sir, ttthis way." He pointed with his finger and Arthon started walking, following the young librarian as the other made some distance between them, afraid that the angry Lord might strangle him.
They came to the other door, decorated in fashionable way and Arthon assumed it was an Elrond's study. He tried to open the door without knocking but he found out that it was locked. In his irritation he started pounding on it angrily and librarian had immediately fled away with the speed, leaving the crazy elf to deal with his Lord.
"Elrond, you half -elven prat. You open this door right now. I will not be ignored like some fool and I demand at least some kind a respect from you people. You hear me, open these damn doors, now."
Arthon yelled and he heard the pair of the feet shuffling inside. He didn't want to explode like this but the tiresome journey to Rivendell had made him grumpy and he felt unwelcome because Elrond choose not to greet him, himself.
Elrond on the other way was in a panicky state and he started to bite his nails as he heard his future husband's voice at the door. Haldir went pale too and he wondered what was amiss and why did the Arthon's voice sounded so angry.
"Haldir, what shall we do." Elrond whispered to his friend and Haldir just shook his head in negative motion.
"I reckon we need to open the door before he kicks it open by himself. He sounds angry. I told you that you should have been present when he came to Imladris. Just pull yourself together and we will deal with him." Haldir stood up and he reluctantly opened the door, seeing Elrond moving away from it.
"Who are y.. Oh you are that Marchwarden. What are you doing here? Where is Elrond ."Arthon asked before he barged in, and he stopped asking the questions when he saw the Lord of Imladris in front of him?
"You out. I need to speak with Elrond alone." He pushed Haldir out of the room in a very rude way, and he closed the door behind him locking both of them inside.
Haldir couldn't believe that he was being pushed out and he wanted to go inside but he found out that the Arthon had locked the door behind him.
He knew that he couldn't fight Lord Arthon by himself and his only solution was Erestor but he didn't want to bother his friend with tsitusituation. He knew that he needed to stay close if by any chance the things inside of the room become dangerous and he moved his head to the door, listening for the sounds coming from inside of it.
"So, Master of Rivendell. Hmmmm .... Well, you don't look so tired to me. How dare you to ignore my arrival to Imladris like this and to offer me a room that isn't even suitable for a stable boy." Arthon asked coldly as he approached the Elrond's form and he felt Peredhel's confusing glare on him.
Elrond was quiet and his indifferent expression was the only weapon he expressed himself as he dealt with this uncomfortable companion.
"Oh, Lord Arthon. Welcome to Rivendell. I believe that Erestor made apologies for me today while I was absent, but they seem not to be enough for you. What can I do for you?"
Elrond's gaze became cooler and he felt that his anger was boiling inside of him but he kept it in there, not wanting to provoke anything that would end up in violence.
"To late to greet me now, Elrond. You should have done that ten minutes ago." Arthon calmed himself a bit and he saw that the Elrond's gaze had become furious but he didn't care that he had provoked that feeling in the other Lord.
"I believe Erestor informed you why I was away at that time. I do not harbor any guilt for not greeting you earlier, because right now you are acting like you don't possess any nobility in your blood." Elrond didn't know how he uttered those last words and what strength was there that lured him to do that.
"Do not tell me how noble I am because after all you are the one with tainted blood. Your blood is mixed with the mortal one and that trait doesn't make you either noble or elven enough." Arthon hissed and he coldly glared at Elrond, provoking the other one's anger to come out.
"You piece of sh.." Elrond lunged forward, striking the other one with his fist making him bleed in process.
The other attack Arthon avoided easily and he knocked Elrond off his feet, straddling the other one with his body. He brought Elrond's hands to his head, pinning them roughly down and he growled as the other one started to struggle.
"Now aren't we a little feisty, Elrond." Arthon purred his name in a deep sensual tone and Elrond blinked as he heard that so known tempting tone.
"Anyway, shouldn't we discuss my room arrangements? I am not settling for anything else than your rooms. As it seems to me you have to share them with me when we get married so why don't we start doing it right now. I shall not budge from your rooms, because these are only appropriate quarters that will suit me well."
"Get off me, you pig. You are not moving in with me, because I shall refuse our marriage arrangements. Nothing could bond me with the likes of you, Arthon.Nothing.Get off me."
"And why do you think that this marriage will be planed under your consent. This is all arranged between me and Galadriel and it will be best for you and your realm if you agree. The contract was signed and our marriage is under the way. Nothing you can do or say will stop it."
