After a long hard look into himself Elladan knew what he had to do. He knew but doing it would be hard, nay impossible. He could not let his twin die nor could he return to Arda without Celeborn's son.

"Have made your choice pen-neth?"

Elladan started as the voice had changed, it was no longer the booming voice in the air, instead it was soft and belonged to an elf standing in front of him.

"I have. I cannot return to Arda without my grandfather's son but nor can I sacrifice Elrohir and his child." he mused aloud

"Then what shall you do?" the dark haired elf inquired.

"There must be something I, and only I, can give to you." Elladan said pleading.

"There is but will you be willing to give it?" Namo tilted his head to the side and studied the half elf.

"Yes!" Elladan exclaimed instantly.

"You do not even know what I ask.mo smo said as if he were talking to a child.

"I don't care. This must be done."

"What if I asked for you to give up Estel? To sacrifice your happiness?" Namo challenged him.

"Then I would do so. It will hurt me but if it means that Celeborn's son may live then I shall do it." Elladan whispered.

Namo sighed and stepped in front of Elladan am am not trying to be mean son of Elrond. He is not destined to be with you. You have your own soul mate and he his. You must give him up so he may find his true love and you yours." Namo laid his hand on Elladan's shoulder. "You do understand. Right?"

Elladan nodded but even as he tried to control his feelings, a few tears still slid down his face. Namo felt horrible for asking this of the young half elf but it had to be done before he really got attached to Estel. He laid his hand on Elladan's brow and pulled him into his embrace. Elladan sagged against the Vala and sobbed. He didn't want to give up the only person that still thought about him and loved him. Elrohir was obsessed with Erestor and his child. Elrond had to much on his mind and Celeborn had his hands full with Haldir and his newborn twins. After a few minutes Namo released the half-elf and stepped back. Vairë entered the room cradling a small blanket wrapped bundle. Elladan's voice caught in his throat as the baby was handed to him. He stared down at the perfect elfin features and counted all his fingers and toes.

"Thank you." he whispered.

"You are most welcome Elladan son of Elrond. Now you must go. When you wake back on Arda the child shall be with you as he is now. Go." Namo touched Elladan's brow and the half elf faded back into the land of the living.

"Will he be happy with his sacrifice?" Vairë asked her husband.

"One day he will be. His destiny is not as sad or perilous as his Ada's was. He will be fine love." Namo reassured her.

"I hope so."

Elladan looked around as his surroundings faded and he found himself back in his rooms with the baby in his arms. Estel looked at him amazed.

"You did it." he whispered.

"Aye." Elladan tried to stand but found he was very weak. "How long was I gone?"

"Six hours. I was starting to get worried." Estel reached out to touch Elladan's face but he shied away. "What?"

"After I take Ata'da his son I must speak with you and Ada." Elladan made it to his feet.
