Sinful Regrets

Elrohir gave one last harsh glance at Haldir but then nodded and stepped back towards Elladan who wrapped an arm around his waist.

Glorfindel laughed then, “Even if I did hurt Rumil, so what? The dirty little slut of an elf had it coming”

Rumil felt himself shaking with the unleashed anger within himself although trying hard not to let it take over him. This proved to be more difficult than he imagined, especially now it was fuelled by the revolting words Glorfindel spoke of him.

Legolas, having seated himself in a corner, was watching it all now in perfect silence, not offering another word.

Haldir who could not stand the hateful things falling from Glorfindel’s lips, approached said elf and grabbed him by the throat, “I don’t care about how many Balrogs you slay, I promise me if you utter but one other negative word about my brother I will destroy you”

With that he let go of the Balrog-slayer and stepped back.

All the elves within the space were confused as the last thing they noticed was the sweep of beautiful blond hair parting through the entrance.

Elrohir’s eyes moved around the room….Legolas….He then looked to Elladan with eyes filled with anxiety and fear…Why did he leave?

Elladan who looked back at his brother obviously didn’t understand much more of it than him so he moved his eyes to the others there…wondering if they could explain it to him.

It was Rumil that spoke, “It’s all my fault, I should never have told any of you, now Legolas is upset for his day, the one he yearned to remember as he imagined it…has been ruined by me, by my ignorance when dealing with Glorfindel, he will never forgive me. Yet I will find satisfaction in knowing that you, Balrog-slayer, will most certainly be punished in days to come for what you did to me and to my brother in the past” With that having been said he turned around and left, closely followed by Haldir who yearned to comfort his little brother.

Elladan looked at his former tutor and shivered, “I believed you to be a man of honour, one who would never willingly hurt another merely for his own benefit. Now I am proven to be wrong, if you excuse us, we must seek out our beloved”

The twins left without a second glance, hurrying to find their most precious possession, their most beloved owner, the one they needed to feel complete themselves…Legolas, the prince of Mirkwood.

Meanwhile a definitely confused Orophin moved through the halls of the Last Homely House, all the while thinking of the beautiful stranger in the garden who helped him at a time he could have made sure he got what he deserved…..Why?

Orophin didn’t understand…but that wasn’t the only thing, he still did not know the name of the angel he had seen and deeply yearned to know…What was happening to him? He turned around and moved in a quick pace back to the gardens, determined to find out which name the seemingly exotic beauty carried.

He came back to the spot he had seen the black-haired elf and looked around…Where was he? Had he left already? Where would he have gone?

“I didn’t expect to see you return this soon, you only just gone away…Not all that sure of what you want are you?”

Orophin’s eyes flashed to the source of the voice…There he was, in the water almost completely.

“I still want to know your name” came the hesitant reply from Orophin, “Please, tell me”

Both were distracted by Legolas running buy, rushing into the House of Elrond to his room but Orophin had not forgotten his purpose and turned his attention back to the beauty, “Please?”
