Thawing the Ice
Tension Relief
Chapter 21--Tension Relief
Erestor knew he shouldn't laugh. The Elda was not amused, but the more he tried to get himself under control the worst he lost it.
Glorfindel glared at Erestor threateningly. A drip of milk dripped off the end of his nose, ruining the attempt.
Erestor had gotten himself under control, but the sight of that got him laughing all over again. "You look ridiculous!" he sputtered.
A reluctant smile tugged at Glorfindel's lips. "I am sure I do. That was rather childish of you," he said.
"You deserved it," Erestor retorted, still laughing a bit.
"Perhaps, but we will see," Glorfindel said. He fetched the tray and set it on a table next to the bed. "You need to eat."
"I cannot reach the tray over there," Erestor pointed out.
"No, you cannot, I am going to feed you myself," Glorfindel said.
"I do *not* need to be hand fed," Erestor protested.
"No, but I am going to do it anyway," Glorfindel said, "and you are in no condition to stop me."
Erestor had to admit that Glorfindel was right on that, so he forced himself to allow the Elda to feed him. Afterwards he was tired all over again and slipped back into reverie.
****************
Elrond walked into the healing house the day after to find Glorfindel working on some papers while Erestor read. "Good morn, how are you feeling, Erestor?" he asked.
"I feel much improved. I have felt no pain at all," Erestor said.
"We shall see," Elrond said. He examined Erestor's ribs and nodded. "You are healed and you are free to go. I expect to resume your duties tomorrow morning."
"Gladly, my Lord, I will be there," Erestor said. He got up and made his escape before he could be stopped. The door closed softly behind him.
Elrond looked at Glorfindel. "What troubles you, mellon-nin?" he asked.
"Nothing that I cannot settle," Glorfindel said. He left the room and hurried towards his chamber.
Erestor emerged from the bath chamber feeling much better after enjoying a long, warm soak and washing his hair. He was vigorously rubbing his hair dry, so he didn't see Glorfindel until he bumped into him. "What are you doing in my room?" he demanded.
"I missed you. I feel lost without you beside me, lirimaer," Glorfindel said, eyes raking over Erestor's body meaningfully.
Suddenly Erestor felt very underdressed in just a sleep robe. He stepped back. "You do not have permission to be in here. Please leave," he said.
"Not just yet, I came to ask you a question and I will not leave until I get an answer," Glorfindel said. He stalked forward like a predatory beast.
Without realizing it, Erestor instinctively backed away until he found himself trapped against the wall. He swallowed when Glorfindel moved so close there was barely an inch between them.
"Why do you refuse to give me a chance? I wish to court you. I want you more then anyone I have ever met, but you push me away, why, 'Tor?" Glorfindel asked.
"I do not wish to allow you to court me. Why do you persist? Many would gladly return your affections. You should know that since you have had a variety of lovers," Erestor said.
Something in Erestor's voice caught Glorfindel's interest and he grinned. "Why, 'Tor, you sound like you are jealous," he said.
"No, I am not! I do not care if you bed every Elf in Imladris!" Erestor retorted.
"But I think you do," Glorfindel said.
Erestor gasped as he was suddenly pushed against the wall and pinned there. "Get off me!" he protested.
"No, not this time," Glorfindel said. He wrapped his arms around Erestor's waist and kissed him hungrily.
Erestor gasped as his mouth was ruthlessly plundered. He tried to pull back, but Glorfindel held him securely.
Glorfindel couldn't get enough of Erestor's mouth. He tightened his grip, pulling Erestor tightly to him. His hands slid down to the advisor's buttocks then he began to squeeze and knead. Finally he had to stop the kiss to breathe.
Erestor sucked air into his starved lungs, trying to catch his breath and regain his composure.
"I would gladly take you to my bed tonight, my dark beauty. Say you wish it and it will be done," Glorfindel whispered against Erestor's ear. He pulled back to study Erestor's face. The advisor's lips were swollen and his pale skin was flushed with passion. "Beautiful. You are so beautiful."
Erestor shivered then his senses snapped back into place. "How dare you maul me in such a way! Let me go and get out!" he yelled.
"I do not wish to leave and you do not want me to either, love," Glorfindel said. "Let me give you pleasure, Erestor."
So do you think Glorfindel has got Erestor right where he wants him or is it the other way around? R/R please!
