Consequences
When they got back to the castle Aragorn took Heidi up to her room and made her change into warm dry clothes. He bundled her into several blankets, sat her in front of the fire, and handed her a cup of hot tea. She drank the tea silently as he paced, the tension coming from him was thick and made her feel uncomfortable.
"Are you mad at us?" Heidi asked Aragorn.
He stopped pacing and looked at her. "You two have no idea of the dangers of this town. You are used to Lothlorien. Here in the bad parts men think any female not escorted can be bought for two bits."
"You....you people are such hippocrits! You say it's ok for us to go anywhere but then your like you are a woman you can't do that! I lived in another realm where living and surviving in a place much more brutal and violent!" Heidi shreiked angrily as she threw the cup at the wall.
"It's different here..." Aragorn started to say but they were intrupted by a knock.
Aragorn strode over and opened the door and they saw Haldir standing there. He looked shaken and very upset.
"What's wrong Haldir?" Aragorn asked as the elf walked into the room.
"Denise just told me and Legolas that some ruffians were going to rape you." Haldir told them.
"Us." Heidi replied stiffly. "It wouldn't be the first time anyways."
Aragorn and Haldir looked at her shocked.
"Like I was saying Aragorn men there don't respect women. Me and Denise were kidnapped, tortured, and raped. And yes Celeborn and Legolas know this. It is our eternal shame." Heidi turned toward the window tears running down her face.
"Shame? Why do you say that?" Haldir asked as he gently turned her so she was facing them.
"Most women in that realm are so promoscious. Me and Denise were saving ourselfs for when we married. They took that away from me...us. Them.." she vaguly gestured.
Sighing Heidi looked at them. "I am tired. I want to rest."
Nodding Aragorn and Haldir left the room to go talk to Denise.

Denise sat watching Legolas pace around her room, he was quite upset. Not about the incident in Gondor but because he was being called home.
"It is dangerous there or else I would take you...I wish for you to return to Lorien with Celeborn and Heidi." Legolas turned to face his love.
Denise nodded and got up and embraced him. "Send for me when it's safe? Saes?"
Legolas held her and nodded, a knock sounded on the door and Celeborn entered. He looked very upset but his gaze didn't linger on Denise for long.
"When do you leave Legolas?" he asked concerned.
"Tonight...Ada is worried." Legolas awnsered.
"Haldir, Rumil, and Orophin wish to accompany you...Do you want their company?" Celeborn offered.
"Nay...I must ride hard and fast. But I thank you." Legolas inclined his head.
Celeborn smiled and pa Leg Legolas on the shoulder. "Does Denise return with us?"
Legolas nodded and turned and gave Denise a kiss and hug. "I must be off. I will send for you melamin."
Denise nodded and tried not to cry. With that Legolas turned and left the room to begin his journey.
