Silver
~ Silver ~
"Gold." Sean says again.
"Silver," I insist, crossing my arms in front of my chest and glaring stubbornly at him.
He refuses to let his resolve crumble. Maybe if I pout a little? Sinking once more into the burning green gaze I shift my feet nervously.
"Gold." He flashes his teeth at me in a humourless smile. "And you won't convince me with that pout."
Damn. What did I do wrong? Maybe if I try to look a bit more cute and adorable?
"SIlver?" I try again, earning a full-sized I'm-big-and-mean-and-evil-and-you'd-better-agree-with-me-Bean scowl. Ah, hell.
"But silver would go so well with your eyes." I plead, trying to let my eyes look watery and shiny.
"I said no Viggo." He's stil glaring at me, "I just don't like silver."
"Have you decided on your rings yet?" the shop assistant asks, suddenly appearing out of nowhere and making himself the new target of Sean's glare.
"No." I sigh, shaking my head, "We'll just come back another day to pick the rings."
I cannot even react to Sean's relieved sigh, so fast is he to pull me ot of the shop.
"Another time, love," he whispers, "And they'l be golden."
I shake my head as I follow him. Somehow I don't think so.
"Gold." Sean says again.
