‘What have I done?’ Elrond thought as he walked to the healing room, to the twins and Estel.
‘Thranduil is so going to kill me, and vanish my kingdom.’ Elrond thought sadly.
Then Elrond decided to go to his son’s room, he missed the feel of love, and he needed to know from them that he did the right choice.
He walked into the open room; at first he could hear the conversation between Elrohir and Estel, and then it went mute, as they stare at him.
“Ada? Is there something wrong?” Elrohir asked as he stood by the bed, and Estel did the same.
“I hope not, I really hope that I did not make any mistake that would be the death of me.” Elrond replied as he stared at the elder twin that had still not opened his eyes instead of the other half and Estel.
“What do you mean, Adar?” Elrohir asked and walked toward his Adar, searching for the answers as he stared in the lord’s eyes, but he was being blocked.
“I… I sedated Legolas…” Elrond replied and thought that they would probably cut him, and when he noticed that they did not, he added, “I think that I made him addicted to these herbs…”
“Addicted?” Elrohir asked as he rubbed his hands.
“Aye, and I do not know what to do.” Elrond admitted in front of his sons.
“We will do what ever you say, Ada,” Estel said as he reached closer to his Adar, and hugged him, and then he looked up at him, and continued, “Just tell us what to do… to save him…”
“But what if it is too late?” Elrond asked as he turned his back to them, he could not face them.
“And what about ‘Dan?” Elrohir asked, as the health of his twin bothered him as well.
“What have I done? Bringing illness into my home…” Elrond murmured as he left the room, feeling lost.
Elrohir turned toward the boy, and said with a decision that came from his heart, “Both of us need to do something, that Adar would see how good of a healer he is.”
“How would we do that?” Estel asked sheepishly.
“Watch ‘Dan, while I am going to do some searching in the library, hope that I will return with good result that would do something.” Elrohir answered, staring hard at the boy who nodded at him, then he left.
Estel watched as the younger twin left, then he walked over to the other half, climbing on the bed he began to talk to him, hoping that he at least could hear him.
“Saes… ‘Dan… wake up, I don’t want to lose you nor Legolas… saes wake up, Adar seems lost… we need you ‘Dan… saes…”

While on Glorfindel’s room…
Erestor laid the elf lord on the bed, and then he continued to check the injuries that been caused under Legolas’s hands.
“How could Lord Elrond do so?” Glorfindel murmured while Erestor cared for his injuries.
“What do you mean?” Lord Erestor asked as he bandaged him.
“How could he sedate Princeling Legolas? I know that he is addicted…” Glorfindel asked, knowing of the elfling’s addiction, and wished he had better ways to help Legolas.
“I do not know what had has crossed inside the mind of our lord, mellon-nin,” Erestor tried to reply softly, and then he continued, “What I do know is that Elrond might feel that the whole of it is laying on his shoulders, and I think my friend that he is going to have another break down.”
“Stress for losing Elladan?” Glorfindel asked as he raised his head from the bed, staring deep inside the advisor’s eyes.
Erestor sighed and then he answered, “I do not know, though I assume this is concern for princeling Legolas, after all, he might believe that everyone might blame him for what he has done to him, to Thranduil’s only son.”
Glorfindel lay his head back down on the soft pillow as he thought out loud, “I think that I need to apologize to him, as I never knew how hard it can be to be both a father and a healer.”
Erestor did not judge him for that, he knew how it was for Elrond.
Erestor could see how tired Lord Elrond was after a long day of seeing him taking care of wounded elves, and then the human boy appeared and more troubles showed up.
It might have the cause that Lord Elrond did not think straight, as he might need more support from his elves.
“What are we going to do?” Erestor asked all of the sudden, wishing that they could help.
“I want to help Legolas to overcome his addiction though I do not know how should I do this.” Glorfindel mumbled and then he let out a sigh.
“We might need to take him under our care, and guard him day and night, keeping him from beating and demanding more herbs, with knowing that it might killed him some day, somehow.” Erestor suggested as he stared into space.
