Title: An Unlikely Lust (2/?)
Rating: NC-17
Pairing: Haldir/Thranduil and adding in Rumil/Legolas

Summary: Thranduil wants to make his feelings known and help Haldir get over the object of his affections. Addition: this is being stretched out, so he’s getting some help from Rumil with that task.

Haldir rolled over, trying to blink off sleep and gather his own mind. He couldn’t decide if the night before had been a dream or not, but he assumed it was not by the soreness of his backside.

Finally getting himself together, he glanced over to his side before sitting up. His bed was empty. For some reason he felt his heart sink just a little at the thought that maybe Thranduil had changed his mind and left it as a one night stand after all.

“Good morning!” Haldir quickly turned his head in the direction of the greeting, a smile taking over his face at the sight of Thranduil stepping out of the bathroom. His hair hung in tangles down one side of his head as he worked at drying off the other side. Smiling, he made his way to Haldir’s side, bending down to kiss him good morning. “Sleep well?”

“Yes, it was rather pleasant.” Haldir blushed. He felt rather foolish and tongue tied, unsure of what to say at this point. And his mind filled with a thousand thoughts. He giggled and looked back up at Thranduil.

“What is so funny?” he asked, sitting down next to his new lover.

Haldir laughed again. “I was just wondering whether Celeborn would be angry or pleased with me if he heard about this.”

Raising an eyebrow, Thranduil smiled. “Oh?” he kidded.

“Oh, it is nothing like that! No. He just told me to do anything in my means to make sure you were happy and comfortable.”

Thranduil put his legs up onto the bed and laid so his head was on Haldir’s chest. Looking up at him, he purred slightly, feeling Haldir stroke his still wet hair. “Then he’d be pleased, because you’ve done both.”

“Get out of bed, Rumil!” Orophin yelled from across the room. Both of them had had their fill of wine the night before, and getting out of bed had been a challenge. But Rumil was refusing to even attempt. He grunted and buried his face in his pillow, trying to ward off his duty bound brother.

“Rumil! Come on! You need to clean yourself and get dressed. We have work to do! Legolas is waiting for us!”

“Oh, let the snobbish twit wait. My head is pounding!”

Orophin marched across the room and to his brother’s side. Some things needed to be done harshly. He grabbed the blankets and tore them off his brother, who snorted and growled in response. Ignoring him, he grabbed his arm and started pulling. “Move! You don’t have a choice! Get… out of… bed!”

Rumil turned quickly and swatted at his brother’s arm. Orophin let go and stumbled back a few steps. Crinkling his nose, he put his hands on his hips and watched as Rumil settled back down into his pillow. Unwilling to give up, he approached again and leaned over him to grab the second pillow.

“Get up!” he yelled again, and began beating Rumil with the pillow. Rolling over and shielding himself with his arm, Rumil grunted and started swatting again. Taking his chance, Orophin grabbed his arm mid swat and pulled. Rumil tumbled from the bed and got his footing, allowing his older brother to drag him towards the bathroom. “You can put your pillow down now, Rumil; you won’t be needing it for some time.” He looked down at his crumpled pillow still in his hand, chuckled and moaned when his headache kicked from the chuckle, and dropped the pillow.

“Honestly, Orophin, why must we be the ones to entertain Legolas? Can’t someone else do it? He’s such a pain in the…”

“Rumil, we have orders to keep him happy and comfortable and we will do just that. Lord Celeborn trusts us and we cannot let him down.”

“I would rather have sex with six orcs in front of my mother than spend a day with that snob.”

“It is such a shame you feel that way, because I think he rather likes you.”

“Yes, I think so, too. He pinched me last night.”

“Pinched you?”

“Yes, he pinched me. On my backside. I turned to give him a piece of my mind, but stopped when I saw it was him. I did not want to do that in front of Lord Celeborn. Then he winked at me.” Rumil crinkled his nose. “Why me?”

Orophin laughed. “Because you are just so cute, little brother!”

Haldir finished dressing and turned to look at Thranduil. He had made himself comfortable in the chair next to the window.

“What do you wish to do today, Thranduil?”

He turned to look at Haldir. “But, my dear, you are already dressed! We can’t do what I’d like to!” He smiled playfully at his now blushing lover.

“For now, at least, I think we need to keep last night between us. I do honestly think Celeborn would be upset with me.”

“Why? Did he not tell you to make me happy?”

“Yes.”

“Well,” he stood and slowly made his way towards Haldir. “You made me very happy last night.”

“I am not sure that is what he had in mind.” Haldir put the finishing touches on the small braids in his hair and turned to look at Thranduil, now standing behind him with his arms crossed in front of him. “What else would you like to do?”

Thranduil stepped forward and kissed the marchwarden gently. Putting his hands on his hips, he gave him a slight squeeze as their tongues brushed each other.

Stepping back, he smiled. “Since that was probably the last one for today… I guess… let’s go for a walk. It has been some time since I have visited, I wouldn’t mind a look around.”

“As you wish.” Haldir smiled and led him towards the door.

Legolas stood outside, glancing at his surroundings, seemingly uninterested. He was growing impatient. His father had given him strict orders to do nothing without Orophin and Rumil by his side. And they were late.

Glancing towards an open area in the forest, he finally spotted them both hurrying across towards him, in what appeared to be a badly disguised argument. He rolled his eyes and folded his arms across his chest, staring in their direction as he tapped his foot.

Coming to a stop in front of him, the brothers bowed slightly and gave their greetings. Legolas nodded at Orophin, then turned to Rumil, a playful smile coming to his lips. “You look ill, Rumil.”
“That is only because I am being forced to…” Orophin jabbed him in the ribs fast, turning his next words into a loud grunt.

“He had a bit of wine last night, I apologize for his appearance.” Orophin shot a look at his brother, now busy rubbing his side.

Legolas covered his mouth slightly with his hand, half hiding his amused chuckle, but half wanting them to know he was laughing at them. Rumil took notice that Orophin was not looking at him, and jumped at his chance to scowl at Legolas.

“What is it that you would like to do today?” Orophin asked, trying in vain to force a smile. He shared his brother’s opinion that Legolas was a bit more snobbish than needed. This is why he wondered at Haldir’s interest in him. He knew his older brother’s tastes well enough to know that normally he would not be so taken with the likes of someone like this.

“Oh, I don’t know. I was thinking I would like to go riding, but it does not appear you have many places around here where a horse would be sure footed. I would not like to be on a horse that is stumbling all the time. But this does seem like a rather boring place. So let’s go with riding anyway.”

Orophin nodded and lead the way, stopping for a moment to grab Rumil’s arm again and pull him along. He would not do this alone and let his brother off completely. If he had to suffer, so did Rumil.

He could only wonder how Haldir was handling having to entertain this little snob’s father.
