Sleep Disturbances
Disclaimer-I don’t own, or claim to own any of the Lord of the Rings characters, they are all of Tolkien’s brilliance. However, Elbereth ,even though the name belongs to Tolkien, her traits and personality and some minor characters (such as servants, travelers, etc...) are mine.
Ch.2-Sleep Disturbances
“Meleth, Meleth, wake up!”
Aragorn shot straight up & looked around frantically until his eyes focused on his wife.
“Arwen? What happened?” Aragorn asked as he attempted to compose himself.
“Nothing to worry about Meleth, you were just dreaming again.” Arwen answered
“Oh” was Aragorn’s only response
Arwen took Aragorn’s hand in hers “was it the dream about Elbereth again?”
Aragorn looked at his wife, “yes, it seems at the end of each year I have this dream”.
Arwen smiled “That’s because you know that Ada and grandmother are going to be here by morning”
Aragorn shook his head “Not only Elrond and Galadriel, but Legolas as well, you know as well as I, that I can’t handle all these elves. Why must they come at the end of every year to see Elbereth?”
Arwen smiled “you know why they must come, they must check on Elbereth every year to see that she is well, for one day, as you know, Elbereth is to somehow shape all of our fat
Aragorn sighed “yes, I know, but why can’t I just send a letter to them if she ever falls ill?”
Arwen lays back down and rolls over “Quel Undome, meleth, try and get some sleep.”
Aragorn lays down and pulls Arwen close to him “I’ll try”
Ch.2-Sleep Disturbances
“Meleth, Meleth, wake up!”
