CHAPTER TWO/?
TITLE : Too Many Lines (2/?)
SUMMARY : Orlando has a fantasy. Will it ever be fulfilled?
PAIRING : KU/OB, KU/VM, VM/SB
RATING : NC-17
DISCLIMER : This did not happen. Orli, Karl, Sean and Viggo are real people with their own lives and have nothing to do with this particular story in reality except that I am writing fan fiction about them. They don't belong to me. I am not making any money. This is all just my imagination.
ARCHIVE : You may, but please let me know.

CHAPTER TWO
How long was this interview going to take? It seemed like hours already.
He shook his head wearily, doubting that he could take more sleepless nights. He had been very sure that would only be a passing problem. Unfortunately, the longer he spent in Karl's presence, the more he began to realize that the ache in his body was more than just lack of sleep. Only two more weeks to go, then he had be in Morocco and totally away from the world. He could handle this, he really could.
"Orlando? Are you alright?" Viggo's husky whisper assaulted his senses as a hand gently touched his shoulder and shook him lightly.
The younger actor was standing up, staring directly forward with his eyes wide open. He had not responded to the reporter's question. After waiting a few minutes, she frowned in concern, and moved on to another actor. They were currently on a break and Viggo had taken the opportunity to fetch a glass of water and see what was wrong with his friend.
He blinked, coming back to reality in a daze, "Yes…Yes I am fine. Is it over?"
"Bullshit, you are not fine." Viggo said through his teeth. "Here, drink this, its nice and cold. They will be coming back to us. Word of advice, do not ignore reporters, they will make up their own answers to their questions otherwise."
Orli took the glass, his hands shaking slightly. The motion was not missed by the elder actor who frowned again. The bsippsipped from the small plastic cup anxiously. He supposed that he had needed something to drink after all as he licked his lips, thankful to ease the dryness that had accumulated there. Maybe it was not water that he needed to drink, though. He needed something a good deal stronger than water.
His eyes shifted to the others in their little group nervously. There was more than one pair of eyes on him by now. Even Karl seemed to be watching him intently, or maybe that was his imagination. The Kiwi Actor's eyebrows rose in question, earning a shrug from Orli as he set the glass down, casting his eyes back to the floor.
Viggo placed a hand on his shoulder, steadying him. His voice came from far away and the young man tried hard to focus. "Do you need to sit?"
"No, no I'm fine. Let's just get this over with." he said quickly, too quickly. He did not realize how pale he looked, or that there were dark circles under his eyes. There had been few pictures that day, and no close ups, thank goodness.
"When's the last time you ate?" Viggo asked suspiciously as he eyed Orli, not convinced by far that his friend was at all well.
"Huh?" Orli shifted his gaze from the floor to Viggo. "I…"
"Obviously not recently if you have to think about it." Viggo growled. "Honestly, isn't -anyone- looking after you?" The elder man's voice was low and did not draw any looks save from Karl who continuo wao watch them.
"I can take care of myself." he jerked his shoulder away from Viggo's hand, irritably.
That had certainly not been a wise move. Without the help of Viggo's hand, Orli lurched forward unsteadily, and was only saved from collapsing on the floor by Viggo's quick action. There was a moment of stunned surprise, and then everyone started talking at once when it became apparent that Orlando Bloom had collapsed.
Karl intervened, taking quick command of the situation before it unraveled and leaked out. "Enough, everyone, give him some room! Someone get a doctor!"
Viggo checked Orlando's pulse, confirming that it was normal and there was not anything really wrong other than what he suspected. "Relax, Karl. We don't need a doctor." he said softly. "He was just exhausted."
"Are you sure?" Karl frowned, the other actors weren't entirely persuaded otherwise.
"Yes, I am sure. He was sleeping on his feet earlier. Look, this will have to be postponed. At least our part in it." He declared, and proceeded to lift the slight body into his arms gently. Orlando weighed very little, and was no difficult burden. Viggo glanced out through the window. The street was crowded with teenagers who had known they were going to be there. There was not any way he was carrying Orlando outside. It was bad enough that they could see him through the window and knew something had happened. He glanced at Karl. "Aren't you in this hotel?"
"Yeah, upstairs. It's a double suite Room 32, so you can put him there. Let me take care of the mess down here." Karl tossed Viggo the keys.
"Great. Okay, Elf Boy. Exit stage left." he made a quick exit, carrying Orlando Bloom out of the reserved room and causing many heads to turn as he walked through the lobby to the elevators as calmly as if he was carrying a bag of groceries.
